Police seek public's help finding man who robbed Bellevue bank

Police hope the public may be able to help identify the suspect in Monday’s noontime bank robbery in Bellevue.

Detectives and the FBI’s Violent Crimes Task Force are searching for the man who robbed the Bank of Nashville branch at 7527 Highway 70 S. The man pointed a gun at a bank teller and demanded money before escaping.

The suspect is described as a 5-foot-8-inch black man weighing approximately 215 pounds. He entered the bank wearing blue jeans, a white T-shirt and a New York baseball hat.

Police have asked anyone with information concerning the robbery to contact Detective Reggie Miller with the FBI Violent Crimes Task Force at 232-7500 or Crime Stoppers at 74-CRIME.

I'm white, but half of my neighbors in Madison fit that description 5'8", 215 lbs, black, blue jeans and white t-shirt, probably got some NY ball caps, do you have a photo? Please don't waste our time with this crap. If you don't have a photo, just say a bank was robbed in Bellevue, hell they probably have the money to spare who gives a rats behind!
