Police seek public's help in finding Reliant Bank robber

Metro Police and the FBI want the public’s help identifying the gunman who robbed the Reliant Bank at 6005 Nolensville Pike Tuesday morning.

At 9:25 a.m. Tuesday, the suspect demanded money from a teller at gunpoint and then fled after the teller gave him the cash. He is described as a white man, approximately 5-feet-10-inches tall and weighing about 190 pounds.

During the robbery, the man wore eyeglasses, a blue Kroger apron and a blue hooded sweatshirt.

Police ask anyone with information concerning the robbery to call Det. Reggie Miller with the FBI Violent Crimes Task Force at 232-7500 or Crime Stoppers at 74-CRIME.

Citizens can also send an electronic tip to Crime Stoppers by texting the word “CASH” along with their message to 274637 (CRIMES) or online at www.nashvillecrimestoppers.com. Persons who contact Crime Stoppers by phone or text message can remain anonymous and qualify for a cash reward.
