Hermitage Precinct detectives are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying three women who are shown in video surveillance images carrying off a small safe reportedly containing several thousand dollars from the Gold Star Market at 974 Murfreesboro Pike last Wednesday.
Two of the women distracted employees while the third entered the office and took the safe at 11:30 a.m., Metro police said. “The woman covered the safe with a cloth and walked out of the store with the other two women by her side.
Anyone who recognizes the suspects from the surveillance photo is urged to contact Crime Stoppers at 74-CRIME. Citizens can also send an electronic tip to Crime Stoppers by texting the word “CASH” along with their message to 274637 (CRIMES) or online at www.nashvillecrimestoppers.com.
Persons who contact Crime Stoppers by phone or text message can remain anonymous and qualify for a cash reward.
They are just trying to offer their families a better way of life! Smirk!
This is a joke, right?
How's it possible "to distract" employees while a 3rd walks into the office and picks up a safe? Has to be an inside job.
Aren't these "safes" 100#'s?
Fire all the idiots on duty that night. All are complicit. If I'm wrong, so what?
And the video is crystal clear. No one knows them for ID?
s/h/b "day"...( 11:30am), not night. Makes it even worse.
Gypsy women. Professional job, not amateurs. It is very possible. Maybe they knew about the cameras, maybe not. Most likely, they are not from around here and were miles away before police even watched this video. They are hard to catch, I've seen similar crimes, our business was victim to a similar deal many years ago.
Gypsies?
How does a woman pick up and carry out a safe?
Were the other employees "hitting" on the other two or getting oral sex?
RAF
Strong Gypsies.
