Predators Express Tour to make local stops

The Nashville Predators have announced the Chevrolet Predators Express Tour schedule presented by FOX Sports Net, featuring visits to Mid-South markets by several players and team officials previewing the upcoming 2001-02 hockey season. The Chevrolet Predators Express Tour starts on August 28th with visits to Hendersonville and Gallatin, Tennessee.

This is the fourth year for the Chevrolet Predators Express Tour. The 17-city, nine-day tour is also scheduled to make local stops in Bellevue, Murfreesboro, Donelson-Hermitage, Clarksville, Brentwood, Franklin, Columbia, LaVergne, Shelbyville, Mt. Juliet, and Lebanon.

Presented by FOX Sports Net, the Chevrolet Predators Express Tour will also include autograph sessions, youth hockey clinics, a variety of interactive games, contests and giveaways in addition to special appearances by Predators players. The Express Tour will visit hospitals, community centers, inline hockey rinks and will also include a Pepsi Hot Shots obstacle course and appearances by GNASH and the Predators Prowler.

The 2001-02 Nashville Predators will open training camp on Tuesday, September 11th at the Gaylord Entertain-ment Center. The first on-ice practice open to the public is Wednesday, September 12th at 9:00 a.m. at Centennial Sportsplex.

The Predators Express Tour launches with a visit to the Kroger in Hendersonville, 170 East Main Street, for an autograph signing at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 28th. That afternoon, the Predators will host a youth hockey clinic at 4:00 p.m. at Sanders Ferry Park in Gallatin.
