The Metro Office of Emergency Management reported Friday afternoon that the day’s severe storms wreaked havoc throughout Nashville.
In downtown, glass was blown out from Puckett’s Grocery and a large TPAC sign fell onto the sidewalk on Union Street.
Since 12:30 p.m., Nashville Electric Service reported 125 power outages, 47 trees down and 13 wires down.
As late as 2:30 p.m., NES had roughly 12,000 customers without power.
