Seven Hills swimmer Molly Barker exemplifies the old saying, "It doesn't matter if you win or lose, it's how you play the game." 10-year-old Molly, who has Down syndrome, has been competing for three years and has been improving her skills, while beating the odds.

Peggy Barker said she has had her daughter in the pool since she was a baby. Three years ago when she signed up her other two children, Charlie (7) and Mary Kendall (12) for the Seven Hills team, she knew the water was also the place for Molly to be.

Molly was diagnosed with atlanto axial instability
