Capers heads second expansion team
Dom Capers is starting anew once again. The defensive coordinator of the Jacksonville Jaguars officially inked a deal Sunday as the new head coach for the expansion Houston Texans, who will take the field in 2002. Capers had the experience that Texans owner Bob McNair was looking for in a head coach, having taken the fledgling Carolina Panthers to the NFC Championship Game in only their second year of existence in 1996.
