State to buy 30-year-old, family-owned Texaco station

Winston Tucker and his brother, Craig, could see retirement on the horizon. Their plan had been to lease the service station they had owned together for 30 years to their sons. Tradition.

But today, they face selling their station to the state for what they think is an unfair price to make way for two fly-over ramps connecting Interstate 40 with Briley Parkway in West Nashville.
