Metro police on Wednesday arrested three suspects believed to be responsible for several south Nashville robberies.

According to police, Robert Richards, 18, Dajuion Shaw, 17, both of LaVergne, and Christian Lane, 17, are suspected in robberies in and around apartment complexes in the area.

Three are accused of pistol whipping and robbing a man outside of his Rice Road apartment at 10:20 a.m. Wednesday, and then 10 minutes later holding a gun to a woman’s head before stealing her purse at the Hickory Highlands apartments.

Responding officers found the Nissan Altima described as the suspects’ car parked in front of Lane’s Bell Road apartment.

During a search of that apartment, police found items linking the three to the robberies. One victim also positively identified the suspects.

During interviews, police linked the trio to a Wallace Road robbery in which a man was robbed at gunpoint around 9 a.m. Wednesday.

Richards was also charged with two robberies at 5099 Linbar Drive on Tuesday night. One of those victims was robbed while walking to a friend’s apartment at 8 p.m. The other victim was robbed outside of his apartment 15 minutes later.

Police continue to investigate other similar case and expect additional charges to be filed.

not that south nashville is a garden spot, none of the locations are in south nashville, rather in antioch and woodbine.

if your job is to report the news, why is it so hard to at least get the location correct, especially since the media trumpets what assets they are to the community, yet do not know what community they are in?

Is Wallace Road entirely in Antioch or Woodbine? Doesn't it run by Southern Hills?
