A jury has been sworn in for the third “Wooded Rapist” trial.

Following nearly two days of interviewing potential jurors, both sides have settled on a jury, and testimony is expected to begin Wednesday morning in the latest trial of Robert Jason Burdick.

This trial stems from the Feb. 18, 2000, rape of a woman on Tusculum Road near Antioch. Burdick faces charges of aggravated rape and especially aggravated kidnapping.

Burdick has already been convicted in two other assaults. He was sentenced to 32 years in prison for aggravated rape and aggravated burglary as well as to 10 years for attempted aggravated rape.
