A 25-year-old Texas woman faces prostitution and child neglect charges after allegedly arranging to have sex for money Tuesday night while she left her 20-month-old son alone in a motel room.

An undercover officer from the Metro Nashville Police Department Specialized Investigations Division answered an Internet ad and met Melissa Dillon, of Austin, at an airport-area motel, according to police. Officers arrested Dillon after she allegedly agreed to have sex for $200 in a third-floor room.

During the arrest, officers said they found a second motel key for a room on the first floor. When they went to that room, they could hear a child crying from inside. After opening the door, officers found the young boy alone in a playpen, a milk bottle lying on the floor and the television tuned to cartoons.

Dillon was being held in lieu of $12,500 bond on charges of neglecting a child younger than 8, a class E felony, and prostitution, a misdemeanor. The Tennessee Department of Children’s Services took custody of the child at the motel last night.

So, based on a misdemeanor charge the Police have a blanket reason
for a search and seizure? Just asking______________

I don't care how they catch scum, as long as they catch them. Good work!
