Kenneth Ray Davis, a truck driver accused of killing two Nashville women more than a decade ago, pleaded guilty to the crimes Monday morning.
Davis pleaded guilty to two counts of second-degree murder following a cold case investigation by the Metro Nashville Police Department that led to an indictment against Davis a month ago. He was charged recently in the strangling death of Jackie Pelham, 35, who was found dead in an alley in East Nashville in 1999.
Davis, 55, was already in jail after being charged last year with killing Christina Parham, 25, in 2000. Parham’s nude body was found on the side of the road off Dugger Drive in East Nashville on Dec. 1, 2000.
Davis’ DNA was collected after he was convicted of aggravated rape in Shelby County. His DNA matched evidence found at both of the murder scenes.
