Two teenagers were arrested Tuesday, accused of burglarizing a South Nashville apartment. Neighbors reported seeing David Tran, 18, and a 16-year-old picking up a large television outside of a Brookridge apartment.

The residents took down the license plate number of the vehicle they were driving, and police later located the suspects at a Benzing Road residence. Two additional suspects fled the scene on foot while Tran and the 16-year-old were arrested.

Police recovered two TVs, a laptop, a rifle and a shotgun that were stolen in the burglary.

Tran is charged with aggravated burglary, theft of property and evading arrest. The 16-year-old is charged in Juvenile Court with aggravated burglary, theft, vandalism and unlawful weapon possession.

Tran is free on $7,000 bond. South Precinct detectives are working to apprehend the additional two suspects.
