A man who robbed the Union Planters bank at 4241 Harding Road at 10 a.m. Wednesday morning closely resembles the physical description of the man responsible for 12 other unsolved bank robberies in the Nashville area since August, according to FBI Special Agent Jon B. Stephens.

The man, described as a black male, 5-foot-8 inches tall with a slender build and thought to be 25 to 30 years old with a moustache and goatee, entered the bank, motioned to his waist area, and announced to the teller that he had a gun. He then demanded all of the large bills. After receiving the money, he fled on foot from the bank in an unknown direction.
