UT Green era ends with contract buyout

The Jerry Green era is over.

After much debate back and forth over whether 89 wins in four seasons at the helm at Tennessee was enough to overcome perceived on-court discipline problems and underachieving, Green negotiated a $1.25 million buyout of the final four years of his contract at the university on Tuesday.
