Warner Brothers and their cable subsidiary the Cartoon Network missed a chance the other day to provide a valuable educational opportunity.
Cartoon Network representatives announced that some extremely rare Bugs Bunny cartoons would not be included in their upcoming Bugs retrospective in June due to their racial content. Although people at the network were going to air these episodes with a disclaimer, according to The Wall Street Journal some executives at the parent company were afraid presenting them might cause so much backlash it could hurt Warner Bros. merchandising.
