Police have arrested a Nashville woman and charged her with child neglect after discovering her two young children home alone.
Julieta Martinez-Ramirez allegedly left her 3-year-old daughter and 2-year-old son at her house on Morrow Road while she went shopping, according to a warrant issued for her arrest. Martinez-Ramirez initially told a police officer — who had been waiting with her children for 40 minutes when she arrived — that she had left to take her sister to work. When the officer discovered Martinez-Ramirez does not have a sister living in Tennessee, he determined she had been shopping.
A UPS driver had been to the house two consecutive days to find the children answering the door and home alone, and decided to alert police.
Martinez-Ramirez posted bond on Feb. 6, according to court records. Child neglect is a Class-E felony.
pathetic.
pathetic is not strong enough. Criminal is the optimal word here. And what was she receiving in those UPS packages? (just kidding)
BEOWULF: She needs a bus transport southwest, then due south!
Why do so many people know how to produce and have kids, but either don't know how, or don't want to take care of them?
These people are illegals, I guarantee you. They have as many kids as they can because to them everything in America is 'free for me'. That is what I have heard many more times than I can count. The sad part is, I bet that she still has her kids and that nothing really happens to her for this.
