Monday, July 30, 2012 at 3:42am

How do you feel about criticism directed at Gov. Bill Haslam stemming from his hiring of Samar Ali as the international director for the state’s Department of Economic and Community Development?

Moonglow1

Yogi, how much are you paid for your "crusade"against our President?

Red alert!! Yogi is a paid blogger for the Tea's. Red alert. Yogi is a paid blogger for the Tea's.

You are not a true American. You need to be investigated for your anti-American sentiment against our President.

So are you voting for the Mormon Bishop. I have nothing against the Mormons. I do not believe any clergy should be elected to the highest office in the land.

Any clergy!!! None, zippo.

By: yogiman on 7/30/12 at 8:36

That's funny, Moonglow1. You oppose Romney in that office because he's a Mormon who you state want's to take over the world in their religion.

Yet you accept Obama in that office as a Muslim of the Islam faith that wants to take over the world in their religion.

So, which one do you prefer? I prefer the one with a business background that can bring this nation out of poverty (bankruptcy) instead of the one wanting to put us deeper in debt.

I imagine you had to wait so long to figure out what you needed to say to make your denial, bfra (bad fart repeating again)
Quit pooten and you'll smell better.

Translation; Maybe they will think it is someone else that pooten (sic) and won’t notice it is me. I got to stop eating them there beans so much.

Moonglow1,

You question if we would elect a Catholic priest. Well, he wasn't a priest but we did elect a Catholic and he didn't take our country into Catholicism with his priest.

Defend your 7:24 lie yogi.

By: Captain Nemo on 7/30/12 at 8:50

Paid blogger…yogi? The old fart does it because he is told to do so. He doesn’t have the brains to get paid.

By: yogiman on 7/30/12 at 8:57

First, Moonglow1,

I'm not paid to post the knowledge you apparently don't have on this site. But I'm beginning to believe you guys are being paid by Barry's office to support him, even though you don't know him.

None of you on this site has ever given one ounce of evidence "your" president is in office legally. Why? Because you don't have any. All the information you have on him is what he's "told" you.

Common sense, which none of you seem to have, would make you wonder why he has spent millions to keep his papers locked up.

Was he in college as an American citizen; or did he receive a scholarship as a foreign student?

We don’t have too yogi, the burden of proof is on the idiot. You have never shown one scrap of evidence that he is not.

By: Captain Nemo on 7/30/12 at 9:05

You lied about Germany and you lied about Obama.

By: Captain Nemo on 7/30/12 at 9:07

LOL Ben A V fan?

By: bfra on 7/30/12 at 9:08

yogi - Evidence of his legality is the fact, Obama is the President, with the blessing of all the courts, the CIA, the FBI & the majority of voters that elected him.

By: BenDover on 7/30/12 at 9:09

Why is FDR still lauded after such an heinous abuse of power? Internment of 120,000 innocent U.S. citizens makes Gitmo look like romper-room.

By: BenDover on 7/30/12 at 9:10

Love that show, Nemo.

By: BenDover on 7/30/12 at 9:11

THEY'RE LIZARDS!!!

By: Ummm... on 7/30/12 at 9:11

Moonglow1, I understand why you might think Yogi's being paid to post his nonsense, but frankly I don't think even the Teapublicans are brainless enough to finance his diarrhea- like utterances.

By: Captain Nemo on 7/30/12 at 9:11

Ben can't you do something about yogi? After all he is one of yours. lol

Japanese-Americans were put in camps, yogi. And the Supreme Court ruled in 1944 that loyal citizens to the U.S., regardless of cultural descent, could not be detained without cause. Perhaps you disagree with this ruling?

1944? Did you see where there was a German ship that was shot down in U.S. territory (east coast) and it has just been discovered. When the US captured Germans they were tried and shot.

We didn't arrest people who were Germans or of German descent because the Germans did not INVADE the U.S. The Japs did invade the U.S. or at least a territory of the U.S.

Yogi, yesterday at a yard sale I saw a book entitled "The U.S. - 50 States". I bought it to mail to the White House for Obama, since he said there were 56 states. Have you ever figured out where the other 6 states are? Or was it 57? Or 58?

Anyway, have a good day Yogi, et al. Oh Yogi, my friend has a tiny little miniature pig - 3 months old. He is so cute. She also has rabbits at her house and it's just like a farm there. The little animals eat all the vegetable and fruit table scraps and cuttings, so there is no throw away food! Cute! Little miniature garbage disposals. LOL

By: BenDover on 7/30/12 at 9:18

I just keep my filters on Nemo. If the comment is by Yogi or budlight or if the respondent mentions the name yogi or budlight in the first line of their response (as is the appropriate etiquette) I automatically ignore the post and move on.

No offense yogi and bud... I'm sure you are perfectly adorable people also; but life is too short.

By: yogiman on 7/30/12 at 9:21

bfra (bad farts repeated again),

Tell me, how can you legally win a contest when you aren't legally eligible to enter the contest?

You can't.

Unless you all have joined with Barry in the communist party, you had better wake the hell up and quit drowsing. That is if you have anything in your skull to think with because you sure can't see beyond your nose.

By: bfra on 7/30/12 at 9:26

Yogi - You & your ilk are the only ones too dumb to realize facts.

By: gdiafante on 7/30/12 at 9:26

You're batting a thousand yogi...

Obama's a Mulsim - wrong
Obama's not eligible - wrong
The country was opposed to the Japanese internment camps - wrong

It's almost like you're putting on a facade...intentionally being stupid to generate activity...are you on the NCP payroll?

By the way Ben, you're right about FDR, he has been let off the hook for that one.

By: gdiafante on 7/30/12 at 9:28

s/h/b Muslim

By: BenDover on 7/30/12 at 9:29

As for the topic, I'm glad someone is watching out for this stuff but I think they picked a bad example to pick on here. She seems to be in the minority of Muslims who adopt basically western values and doesn't want to impose Shariah on the West.

They are easily portrayed as idiots by publicly going after people like Samar Ali and Huma Abedin. My bet's on Huma being a closet scissor sister to Hillary rather than covert jihadist, btw... an offense that would get her executed in many of the countries she visits on a regular basis. Wiener's wiener sure isn't getting the attention it desires, from her.

By: Kosh III on 7/30/12 at 9:40

"We didn't arrest people who were Germans or of German descent because the Germans did not INVADE the U.S. "

Sorry but over 11 thousand Germans or Americans of German descent were arrested and put in prison camps.

A simple search of "german internment" can show that

http://www.foitimes.com/internment/udq.htm

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/German_American_internment

Besides, what does invading or not invading have to do with it? Nothing.

By: BenDover on 7/30/12 at 9:41

Wow... that darker skin tone makes her look like a whole different person. She's really hot.

The shocker to me was in new Batman though. Anne Hathaway shockingly turned out to be the cat-woman... evah... Julie Newmar, Michelle Pfeiffer, Halle Berry... they got nothin' on this girl.

By: Captain Nemo on 7/30/12 at 9:42

s/h/b fell out. My first yogi

By: gdiafante on 7/30/12 at 9:47

Julie Newmar will always be Catwoman...everyone else is pale in comparison.

By: Captain Nemo on 7/30/12 at 9:47

She is a beauty, Ben. You need to goggle her and take a look at more of her photos.

Little Bennie, you never cease to amaze. Even as you shun your fellow regressives (Yogi and brainedlight), with your 10:29 post you assert that most Muslims want to impose shariah law on us, and the rest of your post is worthy of Al Bundy. Wow- just wow.

By: BenDover on 7/30/12 at 9:59

Agree Nemo...

As for Newmar... I'm still basking in the glow of Hathaway from the movie last night. It was great. Batman against the Occupy movement... lol .

By: Captain Nemo on 7/30/12 at 10:00

Ben I had my picture taken a couple of years ago with Julie Newmar and Sally Kellerman a in Vegas.

By: Captain Nemo on 7/30/12 at 10:05

Ben Bre you sure it was the Tea party that Batman was up against. lol

I have got to see that move soon.

By: Captain Nemo on 7/30/12 at 10:09

I check back later, I 've got to go for now.

Here is our next hot topic for debate in America and probably a US government sponsorship to amend this every increasing problem endangering the lives of Americans (the ones who are too stupid to pay attention).

"WASHINGTON (AP) — A young man talking on a cellphone meanders along the edge of a lonely train platform at night. Suddenly he stumbles, loses his balance and pitches over the side, landing head first on the tracks.

Fortunately there were no trains approaching the Philadelphia-area station at that moment, because it took the man several minutes to recover enough to climb out of danger. But the incident, captured last year by a security camera and provided to The Associated Press, underscores the risks of what government officials and safety experts say is a growing problem: distracted walking.

On city streets, in suburban parking lots and in shopping centers, there is usually someone strolling while talking on a phone, texting with his head down, listening to music, or playing a video game. The problem isn't as widely discussed as distracted driving, but the danger is real.

Reports of injuries to distracted walkers treated at hospital emergency rooms have more than quadrupled in the past seven years and are almost certainly underreported. There has been a spike in pedestrians killed and injured in traffic accidents, but there is no reliable data on how many were distracted by electronics.

"We are where we were with cellphone use in cars 10 years or so ago. We knew it was a problem, but we didn't have the data," said Jonathan Akins, deputy executive director of the Governors Highway Safety Association, which represents state highway safety offices.

State and local officials are struggling to figure out how to respond, and in some cases asking how far government should go in trying to protect people from themselves."

If you are so stupid that you fall into a train track while you are on the phone, or into a manhole or into some other danger, shouldn't you be just locked up anyway? We need to stop this nonsense? These people are scarey!

Government is struggling to figure out how far government should go in "trying to protect people from themselves".

How about we, the people, do a studny to figure out how we can protect ourselves from the government?

By: yogiman on 7/30/12 at 10:14

gdiafarte,

Obama was raised as a Muslim of the Islam faith and as a communist in home of communists in politics. His biggest tutor in communism was Frank Marshal Davis. Davis was known as the most profound communists in the country on the FBI list.

When did he leave his Islam faith? When did he leave his communist friends and beliefs?

Why did he make the remark in an interview with George Stephanopolous thanking John McCain for not mentioning his Muslim faith? A boo boo? Is that why George "corrected" him?

By: BenDover on 7/30/12 at 10:16

Might want to check your facts there ummm.

By: Ummm... on 7/30/12 at 10:27

"Might want to check your facts there ummm"

How so, Little Bennie? Did I miss something in your "thoughtful and cogent" post?

By: yogiman on 7/30/12 at 10:28

Oh, and by the way, gdiafarte, Davis took some pictures of Barry's mother stripped to her a$$.

On every thing details known, could he be Barry's daddy?

By: gdiafante on 7/30/12 at 10:31

Blow it out your a$$, yogi. No one cares to read your sh!t (except Bud...it takes a nut to know a nut).

With a Muslim in office you can add the USA to that list, BenDover.

By: Ummm... on 7/30/12 at 10:39

Interestingly, Little Bennie, the article you linked says absolutely nothing about U.S. Muslims, but your misleading post implies that they want to impose shariah law on us- imagine that. I think you might want to check your facts next time before we have to translate anymore of your "thoughtful and cogent" bloviating.

By: BenDover on 7/30/12 at 10:44

I never said anything about US Muslims. To my knowledge they have not been independently surveyed. The Muslim world at large seems consistent with the teachings of the Qur'an though. Seems the poll I saw about Canada had them at 40% in support for Sharia and in the UK is was up around 60% I think. It seems as their majorities increase so, too, does their willingness to impose Sharia on the culture.

By: gdiafante on 7/30/12 at 10:47

Oh Ben, stop being such a pu**y. Onward, Christian soldier...

By: BenDover on 7/30/12 at 10:48

It is settled. Iron Pork Chop for lunch... for their signature dish.

Pound sand Allah.

By: yogiman on 7/30/12 at 10:49

Let me give you another little ignorant thought, Ummm. I say there's basically no difference in the two major parties. Many in the Republican party keep mentioning Marco Rubio and Bobby Jindal as VP with Romney.

Rubio and Jindal are not natural born citizens. Their parents did not become naturalized citizens until they were several years old. So why is the Republican party so interested in either of them in the VP's office?
