Blanket - If the troll nuts follow their line of thinking (with what, is to be determined), they will claim, she is only pretending this blood clot to keep from testifying. Blood clots are not imagined & very dangerous.

By: Blanketnazi2 on 1/2/13 at 11:18

Yep, I already read the crap the trolls will reference online. Unbelievable.

By: Rasputin72 on 1/2/13 at 11:28

NEMO,,,,,I do not have to read anything you post to know that if you miss six bi-weekly checks in a row that you are in financial trouble.

I know who you are. You are part and parcel of the people who elected Barack Hussein Obama on a platform of class warfare. Whatever else you are is nothing more than superfluous information.

By: bfra on 1/2/13 at 11:43

Nemo - Poor ole Raspy, he really tries to sound important, but he just doesn't know how. It is really quite comical!

By: Rasputin72 on 1/2/13 at 11:49

Bfra....As a solid member of the Simple Six, no one will ever accuse you of even SOUNDING important.

By: Blanketnazi2 on 1/2/13 at 11:57

bfra, he is a worthless bum named Ray who scams lonely women out of money and pretends (or what he calls "perceives") himself to be someone successful and wealthy. He pretends to have been a successful business owner which is nothing but a pipe dream.

By: BigPapa on 1/2/13 at 12:00

If I were king of the GOP I'd say the most important thing they need to do is.. get this.. TO ACTUALLY DO SOMETHING!!
Yes, I know it's difficult when the other party plays Santa Claus, someone has to be the bad guy and ask who's paying for all that "free" stuff. I get that, BUT....

Actually purpose some legislation that backs up some of your supposed ideals as the party less inclined to interfere with your personal life.

Purpose legislation that moves the tax code from being a social science experiment and actually just functions to fund the government.

By: Blanketnazi2 on 1/2/13 at 12:06

Big Papa, I think being less involved in the Middle East would be a good thing but too many lobbiest control the government for that to ever happen.

By: bfra on 1/2/13 at 12:42

Sorry Raspy, as I well know who I am, I don't have to worry about it, one way or the other.Your opinion definitely doesn't matter.

By: bfra on 1/2/13 at 12:49

Cutting salaries for every Congress person & reducing their padded benefits, would be a good place to cut spending.

By: Rasputin72 on 1/2/13 at 1:10

Bfra......And of course you are aware that your opinion only matters every four years.

The rest of the time you are a non-entity.

This is the benchmark of the underclass .

By: Blanketnazi2 on 1/2/13 at 1:39

I thought make-believe (perceived) personas on the internet were non-entites.

By: budlight on 1/2/13 at 1:39

Blanket, I have always respected Hillary, but right now she does not look well in the photo ops of December. I am afraid for her health. Why in the sam hill was she at home alone when she had the flu and fell which lead to the concussion and now a blood clot.

Those are not good signs to me. What is her exercise routine? I have said all along that Obama wanted to get rid of her so he has her traveling enough to kill her. Just think of the miles in a plane (not good for health) and the risk of being shot when she's in those so-called friends of America countries.

She has a daughter. She needs to stay well to see her grandchildren. I think Obama wants her out of the way, so why not run her to death? Sorry, just my opinion about him.

By: budlight on 1/2/13 at 1:43

PS: I do not think she is pretending. Her prior photo ops look pale and not well. I do not mean that in a mean spirited fashion. I truly believe she is in some type of declining health - and hope not. Her weight has also gone up.

Hopefully this blood clot will be dealt with and she will get on some type of wellness program.

I'd rather see others (O) bit the dust for health reasons and NOT Hillary.

By: Blanketnazi2 on 1/2/13 at 1:57

Hillary does not look well but I don't think Obama was trying to kill her off. She's a very ambitious lady and was doing her job fully. Remember, she really wanted (and still wants) to be president.

Her blot clot is above the brain and not in it so the diagnosis is good.

By: Loner on 1/2/13 at 2:07

I like Democracy...in other words, I like governance that is of, for and by the People...Representative Democracy is tolerable; but it tends to evolve into Democracy Lite... when the same families run the place, year after year, we get Dynastic Democracy.

It started out early...John Adams and John Quincy Adams...Nepotism & Dynastic Democracy....the name recognition thing has also worked for the Roosevelt family, the Kennedy Family, the Bush family and the Clinton family....and it has worked for minor league political dynasties too.

I am against the idea of political "royal" families; therefore I am against the idea of Hillary Clinton for POTUS.

Besides the nepotism thing, Hillary is a bit long in the tooth, as they say...she'll be 69 years old in 2016....in 2020, she'd be 73....in 2024, she'd be 77. Her sell-by date has expired.

And who wants to see more of Bill Clinton? It's time for that couple to retire, with grace...thank you, for your service.....but begone.

By: Blanketnazi2 on 1/2/13 at 2:11

I agree, Loner. I don't think Hillary will be the right choice for 2016. I don't know how anyone who is 70 could handle the physical and mental stress of the job.

By: Loner on 1/2/13 at 2:13

And now, having delivered my afternoon rant, it's off to town...I am working on a new HPV project and I need some materials and tools...I hope to have the machine ready in two weeks, if I stay focused...I need to spend fewer hours online and more hours actualizing some dormant projects and some new ones...that's the beauty of retirement, you get to work on your own stuff....how cool is that?

By: Blanketnazi2 on 1/2/13 at 2:22

Have a great afternoon, Loner!

By: Captain Nemo on 1/2/13 at 2:26

The only time Raspy even sounds remotely important, is just have the old fool post.

It really must be embarrassing for him to be allied with the three stooges.

By: Blanketnazi2 on 1/2/13 at 2:30

There is no easy way for the private sector to replace this demand. Businesses don't invest unless they see demand for their products, regardless of how much love we might shower on the "job creators." In fact, if anything, investment is surprisingly strong give the large amount of excess capacity in the economy. Measured as a share of GDP, investment in equipment and software is almost back to its prerecession level. It is hard to envision investment getting much higher, absent a major boost in demand from some other sector.

This is why it is necessary for the government to run large deficits. Ideally, the money would be spent in areas that will make us richer in the future: Education, infrastructure, research and development in clean energy, etc. There is just no way around a large role for the government given the economy's current weakness.

This whole article is an interesting read.

By: dargent7 on 1/2/13 at 2:33

Cliff, smiff...get it over with already.
Bungee jump the dang thing.
These putz'es are incompent.
4 years in session and they wait until 36 hours to 'work" on it?
At least in college I started studing for final exams 72 hours before.

By: Blanketnazi2 on 1/2/13 at 2:34

Happy New Year, dargent.

By: dargent7 on 1/2/13 at 2:43

I just read some of the more psychotic post of the New Year...
So, Obama hired Hillary on as SOS to kill her off?
This is yogi material.
Hillary has ran the course.
I never liked the Vince Foster outcome but never believed Hill and Bill had him killed inside his car.
Travelgate was fodder for Hillary's collusion with the higher ups, but at that level in the W.H. anything is possible.
There's a contingent of nuts here in San Jose' ( oh, really!) who think Obama was selected by Satan himself to destroy the planet in 4 more years.
If you want real caziness, come on over to California.
Nashville is still on training wheels.

By: Blanketnazi2 on 1/2/13 at 2:49

Well, now I know where bud got the idea. Sheesh.

By: Rasputin72 on 1/2/13 at 2:57

NEMO.....Not at all. Once you get over the stench of the Simple Six one can tolerate the existence of almost anything.

My friends know that I am startled by life failures posting suggestions of. world and national improvement when their own relationship with success is to put it mildly is lacking.

They know that I post on this site stench and all as pure entertainment.
With few exceptions people like you and your comrades in existence are nothing more than future candidates for cremation and quickly forgotten.

In the meantime life goes on for each of us but in our different caste.

By: Captain Nemo on 1/2/13 at 2:59

Psychotic is not a good word to describe any of our troll. I'm not sure there is a word for them. All seem to beyond belief as what purpose any of them have in life. Maybe classified as parasites?

By: Blanketnazi2 on 1/2/13 at 3:01

Nemo, he is typing like he's drunk again.

By: Captain Nemo on 1/2/13 at 3:05

Raspy old boy, your friends are cut out cardboard clowns.

You still have no idea as to who I am other then your twisted mind can conjure and you have no idea how much money I have. So before you keep making a fool of yourself.... go screw yourself.

By: Captain Nemo on 1/2/13 at 3:06

He is hale way in a bottle now Blanket. LOL

By: Blanketnazi2 on 1/2/13 at 3:07

At least.

By: Rasputin72 on 1/2/13 at 3:09

One of the things about being a posting partner in a underclass and Obamaclass web-forum is you learn that everybody is called a "troll"no matter what side of the issue you are on.

I have been led to believe that calling out the word "troll" is the underclass way of saying I disagree with you.

By: Captain Nemo on 1/2/13 at 3:15

That is not true Raspy old boy, there are only 4 of you on this site. If you would deflate your ego some, you will see that.

By: Blanketnazi2 on 1/2/13 at 3:18

"Troll" is internet slang for those who are savvy. Apparently Ray isn't internet savvy.

In Internet slang, a troll (pron.: /ˈtroʊl/, /ˈtrɒl/) is someone who posts inflammatory,[1] extraneous, or off-topic messages in an online community, such as a forum, chat room, or blog, with the primary intent of provoking readers into an emotional response[2] or of otherwise disrupting normal on-topic discussion.[3] The noun troll may also refer to the provocative message itself, as in: "That was an excellent troll you posted."

By: Captain Nemo on 1/2/13 at 3:19

You should never clime yourself to have partners Raspy old boy. Egos like yours are front and center.

By: Blanketnazi2 on 1/2/13 at 3:20

"Trolls aspire to violence, to the level of trouble they can cause in an environment. They want it to kick off. They want to promote antipathetic emotions of disgust and outrage, which morbidly gives them a sense of pleasure."[15]

By: Captain Nemo on 1/2/13 at 3:20

He really is stupid and or out of touch with life.

By: Rasputin72 on 1/2/13 at 3:22

NEMO.....Do you remember when you were in the third grade and the Samoan was ridiculing you. You stormed away with "Sticks and Stones may break my bones but words will never hurt me"

I was so proud of you for being able to memorize that.

By: Captain Nemo on 1/2/13 at 3:23

I have got to go for the moment, but Raspy old boy you are i good hands with Blanket. She can teach you about reality. :-D

By: Captain Nemo on 1/2/13 at 3:26

What part of I was never in school with your big dumb ass Raspy? You seem to live in the same sub-world that yogi lives in.

This only proves that you have no idea Who I am.

By: Rasputin72 on 1/2/13 at 3:29

Hey, Enough for the day I am about to depart for cocktails, Bridge and Dover Sole at the club.

Tomorrow is a golf day and a dinner party in DelRay Beach. You probably will not believe this but every single one of 10 guests and a host and hostess believe that I have "liberal leanings"

By: Rasputin72 on 1/2/13 at 3:32

NEMO, If I do not know who you are then it would be improbable that you have a clue who I am???

You truly are a simpleton.

By: Blanketnazi2 on 1/2/13 at 3:34

Ray, you pretty much let the cat out of the bag weeks ago when you got all hot and bothered about Nemo knowing your identity. You're a joke.

By: budlight on 1/2/13 at 3:37

y: Blanketnazi2 on 1/2/13 at 2:49
Well, now I know where bud got the idea. Sheesh.

Not really blanket.

I guess a Nem"roid" is not a parasite! Just a pain in the butt. You are so holier than thou and think your opinion is the gospel. Not!

By the way Blanket, why do self-employed people still have to pay into FICA - the unemployment tax? When they lose their business, they have no way to file for unemployment, do they?

By: Blanketnazi2 on 1/2/13 at 3:42

bud, FUTA and SUTA are unemployment taxes, not FICA. Employers have to pay into it for their employees. I'm not sure what happens when an owner loses their business - I've never had to deal with that situation. It's probably like social security in the since that it's not like it's going into your own personal account. It's meant to pay for people who are currently unemployed.

By: Blanketnazi2 on 1/2/13 at 3:43

FUTA - Federal Unemployment Tax
SUTA - State Unemployment Tax

I thought that might make it easier.

By: Blanketnazi2 on 1/2/13 at 3:45

FICA - Federal Insurance Contributions Act

FICA taxes are the Social Security and Medicare taxes paid by individuals and employers. Employees pay their portion and employers match that portion.

By: Blanketnazi2 on 1/2/13 at 3:51

I don't want you to post too much of your personal info online, that's not a good idea. However, based on the situation you have described today, if I were in your shoes I would try to rent out my house for greater than the amount of mortgage if I could (you can see what the comp rents are in your neighborhood) and try to find some cheap rent temporarily. This allows someone else to make your payment for you and you can pay cheaper rent in the meantime. If you have no experience being a landlord, I would HIGHLY recommend using a company to do the renting for you. You have to pay them a percentage but it's definitely worth it from a legal standpoint. The money you receive as rent will be counted as income when you file taxes, however there are certain tax privileges for landlords. I don't always get along with you here, but I do sincerely hope your situation improves this year. FInancial stress is painful.

Here's a little bit of brightness for the day.

Investors ushered in the New Year by piling into stocks Wednesday, cheering U.S. lawmakers' ability to reach a last minute deal to avert the fiscal cliff.

"What's been hanging over the markets for the last couple of months has finally been released," said Sean Kelly, a managing director at Knight Capital Group. "The rally today is 100% about the end of the fiscal cliff, and people are buying with both hands."

By: Blanketnazi2 on 1/2/13 at 4:11

bud, here's a couple places I would suggest you go to get specific answers to your questions or to learn more about personal finance in general. Both are very helpful.
