What's your reaction to former President Bill Clinton's speech at the Democratic National Convention Wednesday evening — particularly his message that the country is better off now than four years ago?

House & Slack are here....is it time for the running gag?

"Hunting for votes, Willard & Wieners drop in at a gay piano bar....."

The biggest FACT I want to know is who in the hell is sitting in that Oval Office, bfra. You, and your cohorts say it's Barack Obama, but you've never offered any evidence that has been confirmed. Why? Because you don't have it?

Your attitudes are if you don't know it, it isn't.

I'll repeat: You had better wake the hell up unless you're a fellow communist with Barry.

It's not Obama (he's in Charlotte for the DNC)

Both order up a Shirley Temple Black.

By: Loner on 9/6/12 at 9:29

LOL, Slack. I think that the Flaming Anus would be more up their alley....but the Shirley Temple Black works for me.

Diverticulitis.. shows mercy on no picker gdiafante.

By: Loner on 9/6/12 at 9:34

Sore-loser-itis normally wears off after a few months...in the birther case, it's a chronic affliction....not life-threatening, but certainly debilitating.....it's a compulsive, obsessive disorder....no cure. We should pity those afflicted, not ridicule them?

Or should we just take 'em out and shoot 'em?

Sounds like it could be a lyric, slack...

I've been to the edge...then I stood and looked down...I got diverticulitis baby...everywhere you looked my mess was found...

Actually framing the legalization of weed as a states rights issue would be great for the GOP because you satisfy two camps. You get the weed heads and your Rep base that (at least say) they want less Fed involvement.

A Win-Win...

By: gdiafante on 9/6/12 at 9:36

Look at that...the tea baggers can count from 5 to 8...

**slow clap**

By: Blanketnazi2 on 9/6/12 at 9:38

g, you're handing out too much credit. They can copy and paste items 5 to 8.

By: slacker on 9/6/12 at 9:39

Legalize weed, sell it in liquor stores. Prohibition didn't teach the dumb arses anything.

By: slacker on 9/6/12 at 9:41

God forbid (its back in the platform) you could buy wine in a grocery store in Nashville.

By: gdiafante on 9/6/12 at 9:43

Touche, blanket...lol

Well, the one he posted yesterday had Marxist as Markist...my guess is yogi thought the only left out an "s"...lol

yogi wasn't born a twin idiot, he was idiot plenty by himself.

Hello house, glade to see you post.

By: Loner on 9/6/12 at 9:45

I do not think that the Republican Party is capable of social reforms, like what is needed in the Cannabis issue....their thinking is stuck in the late fifties....modern McCarthyism - they hunt for Islamic terrorists and their enablers....the new "communist threat".

When the South championed "states rights" as a cover for white supremacy, the whole argument for state's rights was forever tainted....the rebels chose to champion a right that was inherently wrong....now, the segregationists reside in the Party of Lincoln....incredible.

By: Blanketnazi2 on 9/6/12 at 9:46

Well, you have to be a bit "special" to fall for all that conspiracy crap anyway.

Ru Paul walks into a Chik-fil-A...

By: dargent7 on 9/6/12 at 9:48

Fluke, albiet reticent, has become the new Gloria Steinham.
She was spectacular.
Guess giving women in the 19 to 35 year old range, who are sexually active, birth control, educating young, sexually active teens, sex education, is too much of a stretch for the Republican base.
To stop men of all ages from impregnating them, is illogical and prudent. Wouldn't you say?
Of course, not to Republicans.
They think in terms of, "who can we control, who can we bomb, who can we supress, who can we subjugate, who can we make subordinates of us?"
Obama 2012.

By: Blanketnazi2 on 9/6/12 at 9:50

Ru Paul is Ron Paul's love child.

By: slacker on 9/6/12 at 9:51

lol

By: Blanketnazi2 on 9/6/12 at 9:51

Or, as yogi implied, if you take birth control you must be a "whore."

By: brrrrk on 9/6/12 at 9:51

In the words of Emeril Lagasse....... BAM!!!!

Germaine Greer...
Erica Jong...
'bout time for this Fluke woman to appear...
This will kick-start the Republican Party into fits, denials, and supression.
"Gee fellows, let's overturn Roe v. Wade..."

By: yogiman on 9/6/12 at 10:38

It looks like you misinterpret every remark I make, Blanketnazi2. You claim I 'said'; "If you take birth control you must be a whore". Where did I make that statement?

I simply told Loner what she said on TV by insisting on us (we tax paying citizens, and a presume you pay a few tax bucks) furnishing her with condoms for sex three time a day.

How many women do you know that's having sex three times a day except whores?

You're looking for any cause you can find on me, aren't you? Have fun. But while you're having fun looking, look at //resistance.ning.com/video/obama-he-s-a-communist-part-9/

Q: How many women do you know that's having sex three times a day except whores?
A: Other than your momma, I can't think of any, Yogi....Hillary Clinton, perhaps, she's screwing Uncle Sam 24/7....and of course, there's Sarah Palin, she's screwing FOX out of a paycheck...money fer nuthin'.

By: slacker on 9/6/12 at 10:55

Lets see.. mailman, garbageman, milkman... yes it can be done.

By: slacker on 9/6/12 at 10:56

The Postman always rings twice.

By: Loner on 9/6/12 at 11:03

When wives ask their husbands what to give the mailman for Christmas, a lot of husbands say, "Screw the mailman". The submissive ones do. Just part of making our daily rounds....keeping the postal patrons satisfied.....we deliver.

They call those units televisions, brrrrk. But, I'll admit, I'm not like you and your fellow posters on this site, I don't catalog everything I see thinking you might make a comment about it.

Y'all seem to think if you don't know it, it never happened and it doesn't exist. And if you didn't see it on internet or TV, no one else did either.

By: Loner on 9/6/12 at 11:05

Rural Letter carriers don't ring twice....we honk once....we got a schedule to keep.

Yesterday, Mitt Romney attacked President Obama over providing food stamps to so many Americans in a time of need, as if this were a bad thing, as if people in need should not be helped, as if it were not George W. Bush’s policies that took Clinton’s surplus and turned it into the epic disaster from which we are still recovering.

Yet, Mitt Romney knows need well. Here is video of Mitt Romney’s mother, Lenore LaFount Romney, talking about how his father George was on welfare relief after he was a refugee from Mexico.

http://www.politicususa.com/shame-liar-mitt-romneys-mother-talks-father-welfare.html

By: Blanketnazi2 on 9/6/12 at 11:22

George Romney watched his family struggle for years to pay off their debts and had his own business destroyed during the Great Depression. He knew hunger. His family lived on welfare relief in El Paso, Texas after fleeing to this country from Mexico. George Romney really did build his wealth, but only after he took some help from the government to get through tough times.

By: slacker on 9/6/12 at 11:25

nazi, I believe Romney point was, that more people are now in need of food stamps under Obamas leadership.

By: gdiafante on 9/6/12 at 11:26

Romney doesn't get his point across very well. I think what he means is that if the President's economic plan was working there wouldn't be so many people still on welfare. And regardless of party, no one should want people on welfare.

But I do think he's not being honest...it's very likely that more people could have moved from welfare if Congress had passed the jobs bill. The fact checkers determined that Clinton's assertion that it cost about a million jobs is correct.

Why isn't Romney upset about that?

By: Blanketnazi2 on 9/6/12 at 11:29

Mitt Romney's father and family were welfare "parasites" (according to Paul Ryan's definition) – now there's a testament to the Romneys that "they didn't build it themselves."

They abandoned the US for multiple marriages and then came back and went on the dole.

Mitt Romney wouldn't be a multi-billionaire today if it weren't for the federal aid safety network provided to his father, period.

By: slacker on 9/6/12 at 11:33

Didn't Reid block the jobs bill vote, because he lacked enough Democrats vote?
