So what did you think Obama should have said, you old cow? "If the Canandians people don't vote, I'll send Michelle after them".

That post of your is that of a racist.

By: gdiafante on 10/26/12 at 7:36

Bud, you completely lack the comprehension needed to keep up with the conversation. A voter registration card can be used to establish address, just like a utility bill, but a utility bill is not an ID card either. Or do you flash your electric bill when carded at your favorite bar?

I just recently traveled to NYC and I can imagine what would've happened when they asked me for ID and I pulled out my voter registration card...lol

By: Blanketnazi2 on 10/26/12 at 7:36

Acceptable
TN driver license with your photo
United States Passport
TN Dept of Safety and Homeland Security photo ID
Photo ID issued by the fed. or any state govment, such as an employee ID from the US Dept of Energy with your photo
US Military photo ID, including a Veteran ID card
State Issued handgun carry permit card with your photo

People who may not have any of the above:
- The elderly who do not drive
- Students who do not own a car
- Poor people who depend on public trans and do not own a car

These people probably do not have driver's licenses, passports, Homeland Security ID's, may not work for the government or own a gun.

By: Blanketnazi2 on 10/26/12 at 7:37

I also forgot that people who live in urban areas where cars are an unnecessary expense do not have drivers licenses. It's very common in Chicago and NY for people to not own cars.

By: Captain Nemo on 10/26/12 at 7:38

Poor old bud, doesn’t even know who her people are?

Very arrogant of her don’t you think. MOOOO!

By: Blanketnazi2 on 10/26/12 at 7:40

Nemo, you really have to spell it out for the simpletons. Heaven forbid they figure it out on their own. You have to dumb it down and spoon feed the trolls.

Speaking of holy war, while we ponder the US election, it appears that our "greatest ally" has been up to its usual "self-defense" mischief....a clandestine IAF strike on Sudan.

Perhaps, the pre-emptive, elective, Israeli hit -job was also training for the IAF's long-range mission to strike Iran, this spring or early summer....the strike that PM Netanyahu all but promised, when he addressed the UN last month.

The holy war is expanding in its extensiveness and itsferocity. Here's a link to this unfolding, under-reported story:

http://world.time.com/2012/10/25/did-israel-bomb-a-sudanese-ammunition-depot/

Here is a link to an Israeli site and its coverage of the air-strike in Sudan:

http://www.ynetnews.com/articles/0,7340,L-4297292,00.html

Sudan is on the Southern tip of the Arabian peninsula...the distance from Tel Aviv to Khartoum is 1,143 miles...the round trip is 2,286 miles. that's a long way for a bomb-laden jet fighter to fly on a single tank of fuel, especially at attack speeds...was there airborne refueling? If so, that's an escalation of IAF capabilities.

I looked up the range of an F-15 Strike eagle, it's about 3,450 miles, depending on several factors, so it is possible that they did it without airborne refueling. BTW the distance from Tel Aviv to Tehran is 988 miles, 1,976 miles round trip....if the IAF can strike Sudan, it can strike Iran...this has just been demonstrated.

Like the part that bud said the one's without ID that vote, don't come back. The cow is sitting at every voting precinct counting all of this? Her made up tales are as bad as Raspy's BS.

By: budlight on 10/26/12 at 7:50

"YOU PEOPLE" remind me of the 7th and 8th graders in school who just didn't have any manners and who excluded some based on their little club rules.

I didn't say that it could be used as an ID; I merely quoted the TN law.

This is the millenium; it is possible to travel to the moon and mars, so you people can figure out how to get ID's for your people. It ain't all that hard to do. But you whinners and winers have to have something to complain about and point fingers at others about.

Hey blanket, why don't you start some type of club, or nonprofit or business to help all those people you say can't get their id's. That would be so sweet of you to do and then maybe they and you could stop complaining.

By: bfra on 10/26/12 at 7:51

Loner - If possible you should email that info to Romney, he doesn't know where any of those places are,:-)

By: Blanketnazi2 on 10/26/12 at 7:52

I guess dumbing it down and spoon feeding it still couldn't get through to the cow.

Budlight, the Queen of Beers, starts to yell:

Obama even said that "If our people don't vote, I'll send Michelle after them". That is sick. "OUR PEOPLE"? I can't believe he can say "OUR PEOPLE". Who are his people? Are HIS PEOPLE all of America? Or is "HIS PEOPLE" just code for a specific race, gender or group? Who are HIS PEOPLE?

Calm down, Bud. This "my people' stuff is not new and it's not limited to the black folks....Every Jewish person on the planet seems to believe in the "Jewish people" concept...most US Christians firmly believe that Jews are a "people", not just members of the Caucasian race....but I have never heard you complain about any of that, Bud...why the double standard?

And America's native peoples....are they allowed to express their "peoplehood", Bud? Or would that be racist?

But black folks, when they express their ethnicity, that's racism? You have a warped view, Bud....too much light beer?

Shouldn't they go to all of the 60 states, dumba$$? After all, Barry (according to himself) went to 57 states and had one to go... but he wasn't allowed to go to Hawaii and Alaska.

By: bfra on 10/26/12 at 8:07

Obama sure didn't say "you people" like Romney's wife did. As if she was above other Americans like Leona Hemsley.

By: Captain Nemo on 10/26/12 at 8:07

That is way over her head, Loner.

Bfra, Bn...Sheldon Adelson just plunked down another cool 10 million...the casino tycoon is betting on the white Bishop, of course...Sheldon knows gambling and Sheldon knows ME geography, that's the important thing; what Romney knows is quite irrelevant; he just needs to sign the papers....the high rollers who bankroll the POTUS are like the house...the house never loses...the suckers lose.

I try not to think of that site, especially around Halloween. Yuck!!

By: yogiman on 10/26/12 at 8:18

You're right, gdiafante,

If you have to show a voter ID card to vote, why don't they just issue a voter ID with your picture on it?

Using a photographed driver's license as you photo ID is ridiculous because so many people don't drive.

I think blanket posted it earlier but looks like the economy is improving beyond what they expected (2.0 growth compared to the predicted 1.8%). Still slow but this is good news. With the housing market improving, looks like the major obstacles right now is Europe and the stupid cuts that are to take place in January should Congress not act.

We're our own worst enemy. It's pretty damn pathetic that the "fiscal cliff" could have been avoided months ago had Congress been the least bit competent.

By: Captain Nemo on 10/26/12 at 8:29

Is the stock market doing well? I haven’t see Ben in a couple of days.

By: gdiafante on 10/26/12 at 8:38

Oh, if you ask Ben, you can attribute everything to the liklihood that Romney will be elected...even the good news that occurred before he had the 1st debate bounce...lol

I also forgot that people who live in urban areas where cars are an unnecessary expense do not have drivers licenses. It's very common in Chicago and NY for people to not own cars.

And you also forgot Mars and Venus. Look we live in the year 2012; people can get an iPod; they can get to a movie, they can get 2 televisions; a car or two; they can get to the liquor store; they can get to a local pub; they can get their Droid; they can get cable. SO THEY CAN GET AN ID.

Get over yourself Blanket. Or find a solution and fix it. But in the meantme, shut your pie hole about it.

And Yes, Yogi; they are still in 5th grade.

A;ll of their condescending and hate-filled remarks are signs of racism and class warefare. They are an example of the worst case American.

Hey, Yogi, Have a nice day. I'm off to Harris Teeter on 21st. I love that store. Lost my wallet in the parking lot with credit cards and money in it and someone turned it in. Honest people shop there.

But on the other hand, I also lost it in Kroger parking lot at Nashboro V illage and a really nice Hispanic lady found it. She held on to it for 2 days, but then called me. It was a mystery to me why she didn't turn it in. She said she did not trust the people at Kroger in Management. I'm sure she had her reasons. But anyway, she finally called me and we met to give me the wallet. She sent her husband and daughter to meet me. Even my lottery ticket was still inside. I gave her a $30 reward cause I was so grateful that I got it back. Her husband said "it was not necessary" and I "no, tell her to get her nails done or take you to lunch for a treat". So he took it reluctantly.

Once again, honest people are all over the place~ It's so rewarding and hopeful. Now if we can just get some honest people in the oval office. It's so ironic to see Bill Clinton, a known adulteror and con artist campaigning and vouching for a known liar and traitor.

When you go to NY next time G, just take a moving van and stay there. You'd be happier all around. So would others.

I'm looking into following D7 to Florida - need some fresh ocean air.

"President Barack Obama released a one-minute web video ad Thursday that features a young woman, Lena Dunham, talking about voting for the first time in a blatant allusion to a woman losing her virginity.
The ad is getting a disgusted, negative response from most of those who have seen it. On YouTube where the video is hosted on the Obama for America channel, commenting is disabled but viewers have found a way to vote their displeasure.
As of 8:35 p.m. EDT the video's 'Likes' stood at 422.
The 'Dislikes' were 1078."

Make that 1079 and rising! Wonder if she's kin to him?

By: Blanketnazi2 on 10/26/12 at 10:24

I guess the cow has never been to a city and doesn't understand that it is different from a town or a rural area.

By: budlight on 10/26/12 at 10:26

And if she's kin to him, are they cousins? Uncle/niece?

New York City is distinguished from other U.S. cities for its low personal automobile ownership and its significant use of public transportation. New York City has, by far, the highest rate of public transportation use of any American city, with 54.2% of workers commuting to work by this means in 2006.[4] About one in every three users of mass transit in the United States and two-thirds of the nation's rail riders live in New York City or its suburbs.[5] New York is the only city in the United States where over half of all households do not own a car (Manhattan's non-ownership is even higher - around 75%; nationally, the rate is 8%).[6]

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Transportation_in_New_York_City

So, that's a significant number of people who probably don't have a driver's license - the most commonly accepted form of photo ID.

By: Blanketnazi2 on 10/26/12 at 10:29

When you total the number of urban folks, students and senior citizens - that's a lot of people who are being disenfranchised by the voter ID laws. Then consider that the fraud is pretty much non-existent (see the previous article that gives sources) and you can see the voter ID law must exist for the reason of an agenda.

By: budlight on 10/26/12 at 10:32

Well, Blankity-blank, you are right. I've never been to NY City, Philadelphia, Hartford, San Diego, Washington DC, Salt Lake or Nashville. I'm so uneducated about all of the things that you know blank! Gee, I'm just so ill-it-erate and you, you are so, so, so up thar' on the edjucation level! I'm in awe of you girl! "So, that's a significant number of people who probably don't have a driver's license - the most commonly accepted form of photo ID."

So tell us Blank, how do they get their medical insurance approved at the doctor's office? Or how do they cash checks? How do they get to rent apartments? Buy homes? Get a loan from a bank? Get a checking account? Savings account? How do they get their food stamps? How do they get enrolled in college? How do they get all that?

Cause the last time I applied for a job I had to present driver's license; the last time I got a bank loan, I had to show proof of id; the last time I rented an apartment, had to show proof of id; and everytime I cash a check (the latest one at 9:35 a.m. today at Publix), I had to show my driver's license and the woman checking me out knew me personally. BUT I USED A CHECK SO A VALID ID WAS NECESSARY.

Your argument only stands up with other libs and you are preaching to the choir!

By: bfra on 10/26/12 at 11:10

Blanket - Bud is so full of it! Her dl should be worn out, using it for all the jobs she has applied for & held none. That hispanic is still wondering where she can get her nails done for $30, which from bud's honesty record, it was probably more like $10 if any. So much for her blabber.

By: JRM on 10/26/12 at 11:24

Anybody against voters showing a formal ID are for cheating and don't want integrity in the voting system. Plain and simple.
