Up for Debate: David Gregory's clip

Thursday, December 27, 2012 at 1:47am

What do you make of David Gregory flashing what he described as a "30-round magazine" on "Meet The Press"? Did he violate the law? If so, what's worse: that he displayed the magazine or that he could apparently get it easily?

How nutty has the conversation gotten? Yogi's 10:03 is a sample slice of the nuttiest fruitcake this NCP site has to offer....he's our foil. for fruitcake-related humor.......a gun-totin' tin foil troll...now that is nutty....fruity too...but not all that funny.

By: Rasputin72 on 12/27/12 at 10:16

One of the observations by an expat in France, I thought worthy of passing on.

"Americans obviously were tired of being thought of as a mongrel nation by the rest of the world."

"They went to their ballot boxes in November and removed all doubt."

By: Loner on 12/27/12 at 10:22

Wow! Just when the nuttiest, fruitiest of fruitcakes has claimed the spotlight, the Rasp enters, stage right...he delivers a familiar soliloquy.

In Nashville, we have an ongoing online contest...."The Battle of the Fruitcakes"....This is first class entertainment.

By: gdiafante on 12/27/12 at 10:22

I can see how you would deem complete nonsense that is embraced by insufferable morons as worthy, raspy. Embrace away.

By: Loner on 12/27/12 at 10:26

The Rasp prefers inbreeding, as opposed to hybrid vigor...an interesting bit of fruity logic, with a hint of nuttiness....a French blend, no doubt....Rasp's family tree may be quite linear.

By: Loner on 12/27/12 at 10:28

The Rasp was in France...in the Dijon region....for the Mustard Festival?

By: gdiafante on 12/27/12 at 10:32

He was probably in Paris Tennessee, Loner. He gets confused more than yogi at a The Constitution for Idiots seminar.

By: Loner on 12/27/12 at 10:33

LOL, Gd.

By: slacker on 12/27/12 at 10:36

Apparently.. the rescue mission, or downtown library, had a showing of ''Les Miserables'' over the Christmas holiday.

By: Captain Nemo on 12/27/12 at 10:38

Logic is not what Ben wants to hear, Blanket. Re; you 9:21 post

By: Loner on 12/27/12 at 9:46
Darge, the conversation is indeed getting nutty...but gun-nuts

Loner, are you suggesting that these nuttiest are lacking in certain parts of there body and this makes them larger than life?

By: Loner on 12/27/12 at 10:38

"30-Round Magazine", sounds like the title of a boxing mag...."David Gregory's Clip" sounds like a sound bite....or a porn video....who writes these headlines?

By: slacker on 12/27/12 at 10:40

Gregory wears a clip-on tie.. I think?

Hey troll - the would be dictator lost the election. Get with the program!

There was a cut government funding, and dim wits left the building.

By: Captain Nemo on 12/27/12 at 10:45

Raspy old boy are you has rich as Oprah Winfrey?

By: Loner on 12/27/12 at 10:45

Captain, I dunno, but I've been told that the guns have nuts...this would indicate a male gender. As for the gun nuts' nuts, I leave that sort of speculation to the medical professionals.

By: dargent7 on 12/27/12 at 10:50

Rasp could of been in Paris, Michigan. Just outside of Climax and before you get to Hell.
Wonder what Santa Clause, Indiana got him for Christmas?

"They went to their ballot boxes in November and removed all doubt."

Does this mean that you are a Mongrel or that you are not an American?

By: Blanketnazi2 on 12/27/12 at 10:55

What stock was The Nations producing that year?

By: Captain Nemo on 12/27/12 at 10:56

Loner I have seen the boys of the south with artificial sack of balls hanging from the back bumpers of there big pickup truck. I think they could be a lower branch of the old Raspy tree.

By: Loner on 12/27/12 at 10:57

After a week at the Dijon Mustard Festival, in France, Rasp will be grey poopin' for a week....he probably spent half of the flight groaning in the restroom.

By: Captain Nemo on 12/27/12 at 11:00

I wonder where Duh Bud is. Face down in the bowel of Egg Nog?

By: Captain Nemo on 12/27/12 at 11:02

A big sack of southern nuts walks into a gay bar….

By: Loner on 12/27/12 at 11:02

Yeah...Guts & Glory....and a hemi....and a nutsack danglin' from by hitch point...and the Stars & Bars on my license plate....it don't get any manlier...I saw a butch lesbian driving one, when I was in Atlanta.

By: dargent7 on 12/27/12 at 11:04

I think the point is people in America have to rise up and demand tighter restrictions on gun sales, extended magazines, armor peircing bullets, etc.
Tenn. is leading 180 degrees in the opposite dierection with all the gun laws being passed. Watch when the NRA comes to Nashville in 2014. Perfect venue for a crazed gunman shooting up the place.
None of this fun and games at gun shows and in parking lots and sales over the Internet.
Gun ownership is serious business. As serious as civil rights were to blacks in the 60's. America can do it.
Like when MADD was formed to stop drinking and driving.
Everyone thought "one for the road" was cool until a family of 5 were killed.
MADD as well as John Walsh and Mark Class who formed foundations for "Missing and Exploited Children" show even one person can change societal mores and group movements.
I'm looking for Gregory on You Tube now....

By: Loner on 12/27/12 at 11:05

"A big sack of southern nuts walks into a gay bar…." With an opener like that, who needs a punch line?

By: Rasputin72 on 12/27/12 at 11:09

I doubt that the expat would be appalled by the reaction of this particular web-site to his observation. I would say that his observation became self-fullfilling with the response from what certainly must be a mongrel response.

Only in America can a person who has never earned more than $60,000 dollar a year in any one year make a web-site comment from a position of knowledge and success
without ever having either of them.

All one has to do to justify owning a gun is to read the comments on this web-site by people who are bitter at any success by their fellow man. The anger will continue to build over the next decade as money becomes the focal point of every American. At some point there will be a crescendo of despair and then ?????

By: Blanketnazi2 on 12/27/12 at 11:11

Rasp sez....

"Only in America can a person who has never earned more than $60,000 dollar a year in any one year make a web-site comment from a position of knowledge and success
without ever having either of them."

That has never stopped you....oh wait - if you perceive that you made more than $60K than it must be so. LOL

By: Blanketnazi2 on 12/27/12 at 11:13

Ray, you are only a success as being a fraud and a fake and for deluding yourself. You certainly haven't convinced anyone else.

By: yogiman on 12/27/12 at 11:20

You're so brilliant, dumba$$, explain to me how someone can win a race when they aren't legally eligible to be in it.

I'm sure you, or one of your fellow usurper supporters, can explain how a man with a British subject father is eligible to run because he was "born in an American state" (even though he refuses to prove it) but another man wasn't eligible even though his father was an American citizen born in Mexico and his mother was an American citizen and he readily showed his birth certificate.

Wonder why Barry refuses to show his? Could it possibly be because he doesn't have one? Or could it possibly be because his official birth certificate is registered in Kenya? Could that possibly be why he refuses to show his school records because they show him as a foreign student?

Just wondering. Could he just possibly be in that office illegally? It sure looks like it. It also makes me wonder why anyone so readily accepts someone who refuses to identify themselves. Are they Americans in name only so willing to accept a dictator from Kenya?

By: Blanketnazi2 on 12/27/12 at 11:26

Ah, The Chorus of the Dumb Bells.

By: Loner on 12/27/12 at 11:38

Twin raving lunatics...howling at the moon...Yogi & Rasputin....like book ends for the "American Conservative" shelf at the Library...this then is what the Grand Old Party has been reduced to...the Party of the Fruitcakes.

By: slacker on 12/27/12 at 11:43

I was regifted a Fruitcake.. circa 1800's, still looks like new.
Using it as a doorstop, until next xmas.

By: Loner on 12/27/12 at 11:44

Darge, a tipping point has been reached...the momentum will be slow....but steady....the gun nuts have had their day...the cops are fed up with this crap and so is the general public...now, if we can out-bribe the elected officials, we may have a chance for success....money talks.....BS walks.

By: Loner on 12/27/12 at 11:45

Slack, the Antiques Road Show on PBS may be interested in your fruitcake...was it signed on the bottom?

What an ego this punk has, to think any of are jealous of a big mouth conman. The only evidence that you are rich is the word of a fool. The simple minded trolls believe you, but none of the people do.

By: slacker on 12/27/12 at 11:53

Why.. yes it was Loner.
Says: Made in Killarney

"Americans obviously were tired of being thought of as a mongrel nation by the rest of the world."

So which are you Raspy old boy: a Mongrel or a un-American.

By: Loner on 12/27/12 at 11:54

The Grand Old party is like the Christmas fruitcake; both are filled with fruits and nuts, both are tragically traditional, both are unpalatable and incapable of change....the tins that contain these fruitcakes are more valuable than the fruitcakes themselves.

By: Captain Nemo on 12/27/12 at 11:56

By: Blanketnazi2 on 12/27/12 at 11:26
Ah, The Chorus of the Dumb Bells.

DUH BONG, DUH BONG, WHICH WAY DID THEY GO? lol

By: Loner on 12/27/12 at 11:56

Slack, your doorstop should be in a safe deposit box...it could be worth thousands....have it appraised.

By: slacker on 12/27/12 at 12:06

Govt. public ''shaming'' tv ads, such as the ones used against big tobacco, and drunk driving, would help. I don't understand the outrage against a trained officer assigned to a school, I believe we have several in Nashville schools. Can't hurt!

By: slacker on 12/27/12 at 12:11

Loner, I might be able to pass it off as a Meteorite.. big bucks, in those, these days.

By: Captain Nemo on 12/27/12 at 12:12

Loner I suspect that the twin raving lunatics must come from the same inbreeding stock. Raspy is of questionable West Nashville linage and the old troll is just questionable.

By: Loner on 12/27/12 at 12:15

School nurse, school psychologist...now school cop...it's a natural progression...and school K-9 unit, of course...sniffing the kids and their lockers....keeping them safe....school SWAT teams may be next....concertina wire on the perimeters....guard towers....interrogation rooms etc.

By: slacker on 12/27/12 at 12:16

Nemo.. wanta buy a Meteorite.. from the James Kirk collection?

By: slacker on 12/27/12 at 12:21

Loner, I get your point, exactly what I thought when the schools resorted to that.
But another batch of gun laws ain't gonna solve the problem.

By: Loner on 12/27/12 at 12:22

Armed guards on every school bus? Every school bus driver armed too. Maybe a turret gunner, under a bullet-proof dome, manning a pair of fifties on every school bus?....and bullet-proof tires for the buses and bullet-proof glass too....up-armored school buses....for the children's sake, of course.

Or, we could let the kids stay home and take their classes online....and save a bundle.

By: Captain Nemo on 12/27/12 at 12:24

That might not be too far wrong Loner, with all of the guns out there now and more being sold daily. Plus there is no mental health programs to speak of, the NRA Nation people maybe killing themselves and other.

Here comes the wacko.

By: Captain Nemo on 12/27/12 at 12:26

Thank you slacker, but I already have a sign copy now. ;->

By: slacker on 12/27/12 at 12:26

Just sat NO to guns!
