Up for Debate: Death of an American ambassador

Wednesday, September 12, 2012 at 11:06pm

What's your reaction to the violence in Benghazi, Libya, that left a U.S. ambassador dead along with members of his staff? If it's true the violence leading to the deaths was prompted in part by an American-made video that criticized the Prophet Muhammad should those who promoted the video be held responsible or reprimanded in some way?

Heaven forbid any of these folks get their facts straight before they post!

Facts would cloud their perspective of the world and of them selves, Blanket.

By: Blanketnazi2 on 9/13/12 at 2:01

Hosea and Jose do not rhyme.

By: yogiman on 9/13/12 at 2:01

Tell me gdiafante,

Does your feeble mind think; If I don't know it,l it doesn't exist? But it must exist if one of my co-posters says it?

You musta been a Marine.

By: gdiafante on 9/13/12 at 2:05

I've mentioned that to the idiot before, blanket. He has no idea. Really.

So now yogi's reduced to insulting my service...typical. A fine American, that yogi...

I will be going to North Carolina this afternoon and will be coming back tomorrow. If any shaking going on in the Smith County area, don’t worry it is not an Earthquake, it is only knees knocking from some locale troll.

By: yogiman on 9/13/12 at 2:15

I imagine I know more about racism than you, B2 unless you was born before 1975, 10 years after the 1965 bill was passed. If not, you have no idea what segregation was like.

So tell me, what reason did you have to vote for "Obama" when you didn't even, (and still don't) know his legitimate name? You don't even know if he's an American citizen. You don't even know if he's ever been one. So tell me, other than his race, why did you vote for him not knowing who in the hell he was.

My thoughts on that issue? Ignorance.

By: Blanketnazi2 on 9/13/12 at 2:17

I am from Illinois and was impressed with his senate record. In 2006 there were others who also noticed and started urging him to run for president. I was one of those individuals. If you still are trying to follow Sherriff Joe and the likes, then you are the ignorant one.

By: yogiman on 9/13/12 at 2:18

You need to refresh you brain, Kosh III. You might have something up there to learn something with. I question it, but maybe.

By: Blanketnazi2 on 9/13/12 at 2:19

I was born well before 1975. I am still much younger than you but I have accomplished more that you have at 83. I have a nicer house than your shack in Hillbillyville, I've never worked as a time punching government lackey and I don't accept welfare. I set higher standards for myself than that. You can't even manage to speak proper English. Either schools were even worse when you were there or you were a very poor student. Probably a good dose of both would be my bet.

By: Blanketnazi2 on 9/13/12 at 2:20

yogi doesn't even have enough skills to fact check if he cared to! Moron.

By: bfra on 9/13/12 at 2:22

WASHINGTON (AP) — Federal authorities have identified a Coptic Christian in southern California who is on probation after his conviction for financial crimes as the key figure behind the anti-Muslim film that ignited mob violence against U.S. embassies across the Mideast, a U.S. law enforcement official told The Associated Press on Thursday.
==================================================

Tried to get a link on this info, there was lots more, but couldn't. So, this total scumbag is the culpret for all the lives lost.

By: yogiman on 9/13/12 at 2:23

It depends on whose doing the talking, B2. But I'm sure you think you're right. Be my guest and think your way.

By: bfra on 9/13/12 at 2:26

If this guy comes out for Romney, he will probably be Ben, yogi & bud's next hero!

By: Blanketnazi2 on 9/13/12 at 2:27

http://www.cbsnews.com/8301-501363_162-57512452/q-a-coptic-christians-on-film-sparking-protests/

Here you go, bfra. Good catch!

By: Captain Nemo on 9/13/12 at 2:29

People that know more about racism are people that practice it or are the victims of those that practice racism

By: bfra on 9/13/12 at 2:32

Blanket - Thanks! It's a shame we even have people in the US of this character. He should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of our laws.

By: Blanketnazi2 on 9/13/12 at 2:36

'Sam Bacile, Israeli Jew,' May Actually Be Nakoula Basseley Nakoula, Coptic Christian

http://www.theatlantic.com/international/archive/2012/09/sam-bacile-israeli-jew-may-actually-be-nakoula-basseley-nakoula-coptic-christian/262316/

Now, this is interesting!

By: yogiman on 9/13/12 at 2:36

B2,

If you was as smart as you think you are, I'd be amazed you're so ignorant. Unless your "house" would bring you a pocket full of money, you're right, it doesn't compare to my "shack". But then, I'm a country boy, not a city slicker.

And what part of your feeble mind did you learn my age? I hope to hell I'm still here when I hit that 83 mark.

One more little point: You have the ignorance to make remarks on something you know nothing about concerning me.

By: Blanketnazi2 on 9/13/12 at 2:37

bfra, there are laws against inciting riots.

By: Captain Nemo on 9/13/12 at 2:40

Terrorist or Profiteer they are all the same. It is about them.

Blanket I wish you would restrain form dealing with the fool. I got to go for the moment.

By: Rasputin72 on 9/13/12 at 2:40

It appears that an apology will soon be made by our government for allowing the fellow in California to make a movie that led to the killing of our Ambassador to Libya.

In the meantime, Bernanke continues to stimulate the economy.

They probably do not keep these records but it would not surprise me to see that the genetic IQ of the United States goes down every year based on the high number of underclass births.

Equality and Diversity are the favorite watchwords of those who have no hope and those who have failed.

Those who know the difference between West Palm Beach and Palm Beach are now considered a subversive group of people.

By: Blanketnazi2 on 9/13/12 at 2:40

So, the implications of the article above are interesting. This Coptic Christian charades as an Israeli Jew then incites riots in Libya killing an American Ambassador. Now he wants protection.

By: Blanketnazi2 on 9/13/12 at 2:42

Nemo, you are right. I will follow your advice. ;~)

By: bfra on 9/13/12 at 2:46

Blalnlket - I was born & raised here in TN. Have always been a wanderer and very familiar with TN & other places. You are right on about yogi, I made it a point to find out and have run into lots of people that are aware of him. Never anything good. Just a senile old man that interupts, is rude & people go the other way when they see him coming. The Gordonsville, Carthage area isn't that far away. They have a great dock at Defeated Creek, which I fish out of a lot.

By: yogiman on 9/13/12 at 2:48

Credit where credit is due, B2.

On your 2:20 post you said I don't have enough skills to use a computer like you and your fellow children. I know it's unusual but you're right. They didn't have computers when I was a child like you.

I learned the hard way and I know I'm not an expert as you conceive yourself to be. I can turn it on, and turn it off. And I can type on it like my old typewriter which gives me the privilege of making my arguments on this "monitor", take it or leave it.

I'm sure I'm a moron on some points. May I say; Welcome to the club, fellow moron? Glad to have you out in the boondocks.

By: Captain Nemo on 9/13/12 at 2:49

Thanks Blanket. This way we will only have to deal with Rasputin, when he is able to get computer time at the Library. LOL

By: bfra on 9/13/12 at 2:49

Blanket - Pardon that misspell!
Raspy is back about West Palm Beach & Palm Beach, after he has already demonstrated, he doesn't know the difference. Raspy, go get a Dairy Dip!

By: Captain Nemo on 9/13/12 at 2:52

I know of that dock, bfra. It is beautiful there and I will stop there again to get some fall pictures.

By: bfra on 9/13/12 at 3:06

Nemo - It is pretty around all of that area. Any time I have brought the name Paul Wade up, it really is comical the responses I get. Evidently he has made a nuisance of himself for years.

By: yogiman on 9/13/12 at 3:08

B2,

You and your fellow posters continue to accuse me of being a racist because of my remarks about Obama being in office illegally.

May I ask a few questions? First, when he went to Kenya to help a cousin that was running for office (which is unethical for a US congressman to do), why did he make the remark he was happy to "be back home" when speaking to a bunch of people?

Why did Michelle make the remark she, and he, had to take shots to go through Africa to visit his homeland of Kenya?

Why did he thank John McCain for not mentioning his Muslim faith on an interview with George Stephanopolous?

Why did he make John McCain prove his Constitutional eligibility for the face but refused to prove his eligibility?

Do you, or any of your fellow posters on this site have a honest answer?

By: Captain Nemo on 9/13/12 at 3:13

I’ve been told that too, bfra. That is why I think it is better to just let him be unless you like torturing cockroaches, then have at him. All he has is his hate for others and so I say let him have it. We don’t have to contribute to his devils.

By: Loner on 9/13/12 at 3:16

I'm back....true justice in this case would be to deport the Coptics who produced and promoted it back to Egypt...they abused their free speech privileges here....when we send them packing, we also alert Al Jezeera and Al Ahram as to their fight number etc. a "welcoming" crowd would be waiting on the tarmac.....justice served, Middle East style.

By: bfra on 9/13/12 at 3:16

Nemo - Agree! Sure you have heard, the more you stir ****, the worse it stinks. :-)

By: bfra on 9/13/12 at 3:18

Loner - Great idea!

By: Rasputin72 on 9/13/12 at 3:23

My Grandson asked me one day, Papa, what can money buy other than "things""?

I replied to him, I replied, "Money enables one to have a high degree of independence." "Nothing in this modern world is as restricting as being subjected and bridled to a situation that can only be cured with money.' With money you can go to school with people of the same background and values." With money you can elect not to be subjected to an element foreign to your beliefs." With money you can live in a neighborhood where crime and a vile display of intellectual shortcomings are absent.

With money you can influence a politician, you can influence a ghetto football player to come to your state school.

There are two things I wish I had told him. You cannot buy good health but you can use money to keep the health you have. You cannot convince those that are mentally challenged that West Palm Beach and Palm Beach are two different cities.

He is very young and is still so wonderfully naive about the social and mental deficits that will soon by thrust upon him and all around him.

By: Loner on 9/13/12 at 3:25

Bfra: Like the righties always say, non-citizens are not protected by the US Constitution....if these Coptics are not US citizens, then I say deport the knuckleheads back to their homeland....quickly.....there's no need for legal action other than swift deportation legal action....that would send a clear signal to anyone living here on a visa or green card....malicious abuse of our freedom of speech laws, if egregious enough, will result in deportation.

By: Captain Nemo on 9/13/12 at 3:27

That sound like a good plane Loner.

By: yogiman on 9/13/12 at 3:29

Do you kids want to see a good movie? Go to www.wnd.com/2012/09/video-obama-called-kenya-his-home/

He made that statement on August 26, 2006 when he was in the Senate before he run for office.

He was still being advertised as being born in Kenya and raised in Indonesia and Hawaii then.

So the question remains: Is he an American citizen? If born in Kenya to a British subject, he was born as a British subject. His mother was too young to pass her American citizenship down to him. He could not be a dual-citizen.

Could that be why he's under lock and key?

By: Captain Nemo on 9/13/12 at 3:33

What should we do about homeless people that abuse their privilege at using tax payer computer, Loner?

By: Rasputin72 on 9/13/12 at 3:40

Nemo,, I think you should write the Mayor or see the Mayor and explain to him what privilege the homeless are abusing? Then of course you can encourage action to be taken as to what can be said on a publicly funded computer.

Freedom of speech be damned!

However, it might save you some embarrassment if you were to make sure that it was and is homeless people who are subjecting you to statements that are not of your liking.

By: bfra on 9/13/12 at 3:42

Raspy - I also left you a comment under the Alyne Gueener Massey topic. Plaglarizing a comment from the internet is just low down & common. She deserved better than that.

By: bfra on 9/13/12 at 3:51

s/h/b " Alyne Queener Massey" My pardon to her family for the misspell, not to Raspy.

By: Rasputin72 on 9/13/12 at 3:52

Bfra........I am at least pleased that you read something other than tripe. Congratulations on broad brush reading. Obviously, you used your knowledge of tripe to assume what you assumed.

By: bfra on 9/13/12 at 3:57

I haven't assumed anything! If you can't in your own words post something, why plaglarize what someone else has said. Anyone can put her name in search and see where it came from. If you get as far as FL Raspy, remember what I said about the pythons.

By: Captain Nemo on 9/13/12 at 4:04

Rasputin, when I give you a link and address and zip code to a DQ in West Palm Beech and you reply with a yogi kind of answer, I have my doubts that you are what you say you are. Therefore you are just another yogi like troll, playing with tax payers’ money. ;-)

BTW there is a Wendy’s there too.

I thought Rasputin was going to be interesting, but he is slowly becoming a rogi. lol

By: Rasputin72 on 9/13/12 at 4:08

Bfra, We all believe what we believe. It comes from our roots and I am certainly sure as there are flowers in the spring that your "roots" are different than mine. In the meantime It has been an enjoyable pre-cocktail exchange of culture.

It has reached 5'oclock in the eastern time zone and a nice Grey Goose martini with a couple of maytag bleu cheese stuffed olives are an expected delight.

Until the sun rises tomorrow I bid you good-bye and an expected afternoon and evening much like you have experienced your entire adult life.

By: slacker on 9/13/12 at 4:11

Rasp.. hope you're not panhandling at the downtown Palm Restaurant again. You know how that brings on the Palm Beach fantasies. You've probably blown your entire S.S. check, at Bobbies Dairy Dip, already. Don't listen to the voices Rasp, listen to your counselors.

I left off hurry, but it doesn't matter with the likes of him.
