Loner, I didn't think about that.. didn't hear it mentioned on the early news.
I guess the date is slipping away.. as the old timers pass alone, it was a horrible war indeed.

All war is horrible slacker. If Truman had been in charge (instead of Bush/Obama), he would have probably dropped another one. 9-11 was not only horrible, it was probably preventable. Oh if only we (the U.S.) would make entry into our country a little bit harder -- you know -- the way it used to be.

But we have to be politically correct and just open the doors for any and everyone who wants us dead -- or broke.

Oh well. We just have to deal with it, don't we? And it is sad about the nurse in England. She was probably shamed into it.

slacker,

Truman advised Japan about the atom bomb before he dropped it. Of course they ignored him so he dropped the first giving them to opportunity to surrender. The refused so he dropped number 2. They decided they didn't want Japan eliminated from the earth. We had ships headed in when it happened.

It was a relief for the guys when the ships turned around and headed home.

Blow it out your dumb ass, yogi.

Mike,

May I ask what global warming is? I'd sure like an explanation. I haven't been able to figure it out after Al Gore got the BS summer started.

By: yogiman on 12/7/12 at 7:11

I wish I was as brilliant as you and your fellow posters think you are, dumba$$. I'd be smarter than you think your man Barry is.

Go one bfra. LOL

Mike out of the seven States yogi used as an example for his argument; 3 were slave States, 2 states (California, New Mexico) taken from Mexico and then the Native Americans which was subjected to genocide by the European Conquers.

This suggests that this old man was brought up in a time of bigotry and hate of anything not white. That a genetic code is imbedded so deep into the physic mindset of a biological automaton, that nothing will ever remove it other than death.

What we have here is the rambles of a dysfunction idiot.

dumba$$,

You have no idea what the world was like when I was being raised ( for15 years before you parents made such a horrible mistake).

You have no idea how my parents raised me and my siblings. Yet you so ignorantly blow your BS constantly. Your lack on intelligence is appalling. You may be grown up physically, but you sure haven't made if mentally.

If you had a brain you could take it out and play with it, also.

Mike this would be hard to explain since this half-wit (I am exaggerating here) thinks he is an “Old Weatherman” of the early 50”s. Terms like this was not in the Hand book for Dummies and the difference between a Weatherman or a Metrologies, from a Climatologist is such a different experience for yogi to understand. It would be like telling someone living in a cave 10,000 yrs ago what a match stick is.

Now this ape-like creature starts tossing his fecal matter at his glass cage, splattering himself with his crap. A chimpanzee would have the intelligent not to do this.

By: Captain Nemo on 12/8/12 at 11:12

Now I have t go for now. yogi go out and play in the street.

Just a random thought, but I wonder if we might see more Republicans following the DeMint example, allowing them some plausible deniability when party leaders drive the ship on state onto the reef, or the bus of state over the fiscal cliff, whichever imagery is most appealing.

Such a tactic would at least allow them to distance themselves from the mayhem precipitated by failure to pass appropriate legislation to forestall a monumental tax increase and budget cuts.

What is so funny, ironic, disgusting, pick whatever you like, is this has been looming for some time and our congressional leaders have busied themselves with all manner of subjects, and not paid any attention, other than to try to shift blame.

The American voter is not as complacently simpleminded as some politicians may believe, and I feel the backlash will be painful if the Republicans allow tax cuts to expire and draconian cuts to be enacted.

A very large contingent of Americans, the Baby Boomers are already on Social Security and Medicare, with more becoming eligible every day. They also vote, and most are well below the $250,000.00 plateau above which people will see tax increases.

So, the bottom line I believe, is this is a move to escape the coming apocalypse threatening to swamp the Republican Party, and preserve some hope of re-entering the public political dole in the future, being able to declare no connection with the authors of financial disaster. More will, and probably should, follow the example.

By: yogiman on 12/8/12 at 3:43

Please, dumba$$, would you go a little further and give the definition explaining what Metrologies is?

Thanks. As an old former Aerographer's Mate we didn't have that back then.

By: yogiman on 12/8/12 at 3:59

Sorry, dumbaSS, we don't have streets here in the country. We have roads. You know, the country 'streets' we country folks live on. We're too damn smart to move into a city. Heck, we won't even move into a town.

And by the way, are you in Antioch's suburb of Una? You might be living on my grandfather's old farm and I'd have to track it back and see if I could get your miserable a$$ off his farm.

By: yogiman on 12/8/12 at 4:28

I don't believe we have congressional leaders any longer, Ask01. We only seem to have congressional followers with a "just make this my career and gimme my money" attitude.

By: Captain Nemo on 12/8/12 at 4:53

Blow it out your dumb ass, yogi.

By: yogiman on 12/8/12 at 5:56

Quit calling me your name, dumba$$. I don't want your stupid identity.

By: Captain Nemo on 12/8/12 at 6:45

Yo have your on stupid identity yogi. Your are stupidity in chief.

By: Captain Nemo on 12/8/12 at 6:47

Oh oh I have a yogi. shb you.

By: Captain Nemo on 12/8/12 at 6:48
