Do you think drug forfeiture laws in the United States are fair and just? Or are they abused to the benefits of law enforcement agencies?

Jugs has to catch a buzz early in the day...he works evenings, Ben.

Drunken shopping cart boys are a major problem in this country...their assets ought to be seized....think of THE CHILDREN.....what this country needs is a well-financed and coordinated War on Shopping-Cart Boys....War on the SCB's....let's start with Jugs....git a rope!

By: Jughead on 5/13/13 at 8:39

Nimrod: You and Loneboi need to come to grips with the verb "tener." Call me when you figure it out, and I'll treat you to a free bite of a habanero from my garden in the fall.

By: BenDover on 5/13/13 at 8:40

I know that separation anxiety is still a fresh wound there Jugs... it's evident by your handle. Just put down the mouse and crawl on upstairs from the basement... I'm sure mama will give you a little nip at the tip to help take the edge off.

By: Captain Nemo on 5/13/13 at 8:40

Jugs, when will you say something coherent.

By: Loner on 5/13/13 at 8:40

I got yer habanero, Jugs....RIGHT HERE.

Dang! My Yugo won't start and I need to spend some time in my front yard with it up on blocks. I love each and every one of you, and feel free to erect a virtual shrine in my honor. But, I must go clean portapotties this afternoon, so I am signing out.

The good news is that the smell of rancid fecal waste will remind me all afternoon of you idiots.

By: Captain Nemo on 5/13/13 at 8:47

This boy has serious problems with is tiny manhood.

Ben do you really think he is capable to be a clerk?

By: BenDover on 5/13/13 at 8:47

Still trying to figure out if it's him facing his Oedipus complex or the cognitive dissonance brought on when he has to face the gap between his inflated self image and meager position in life that runs him off; but either way it's nice to see him go.

By: Loner on 5/13/13 at 8:49

Finally....@ 9:42 AM, May 13, 2013....Jughead reveals his vocation....Porta-Potty-Boy....this explains much....bless his fecal-stained heart....when I use a Porta-Potty, at the Music Festivals that I attend this summer, I'll think of Jughead, in the state of Tennessee....that should help to offset the inconvenience and dangers of using a porta-potty...you know, the dreaded splash-back effect....knowing that Jughead will be pumping these things out will bring joy to my libtard heart.

By: Captain Nemo on 5/13/13 at 8:51

He is a 10 foot ego stuffed into a 2 foot body. He must really be a Low some slug.

By: Captain Nemo on 5/13/13 at 8:55

I think even that is far over his mental capability, Loner. He has to an off shoot of yogi's.

By: Captain Nemo on 5/13/13 at 8:55

I think even that is far over his mental capability, Loner. He has to an off shoot of yogi's.

By: Captain Nemo on 5/13/13 at 8:56

That was to drive yogi nuts.

By: Loner on 5/13/13 at 9:15

I am glad that Jugs reminded me of one of my projects for the Summer Festival Circuit.....where Porta-Potties are used.....I composed this poster idea on my word-processor.....the layout on these posters would differ from what is posted here...different font sizes, formatting etc....I plan to stick these up in the Porta-Potties that I use this summer....as a public service....please, give me some feedback on this:

* Public Service Announcement *

When using any “Porta-Potty” type of toilet, to avoid the dreaded “Fecal Splash Back Effect“, (AKA: FSBA):

Make a “raft” out of a wad of toilet paper, drop the “raft” into the shit-hole, then quickly target the floating “raft”.

This advice came from an old hippie….it worked for me.

Party On!

By: Loner on 5/13/13 at 9:18

Bold off?

By: Loner on 5/13/13 at 9:21

I see one error...the acronym is wrong....s/h/b FSBE, not FSBA....glad I caught that one.

Loner: In Tenn., the 2nd biggest meth lab production in the USA..."War on Drugs" is good...nothing good comes from meth, crystal, crack, etc.. Just yesterday, 5 morons were arrested for producing meth.
Here in Calif., weed is good. However, they shut the dispenseraries down as soon as they open up...

By: Loner on 5/13/13 at 9:30

I have no idea on how to solve the nation's "drug problems"...I do recognoze failure in the present system...it is actually counter-productive to its stated goals...financial rewards for the criminal justice system, for busting drug operations, perpetuates the flawed approach....the cops and their udder brudders are milking the Drug War; it's their cash cow....it's udder nonsense.

By: Loner on 5/13/13 at 9:37

No doubt, crack, meth and other illegal substances are harmful to individuals, directly and to society, indirectly. But, anytime somebody discovers or invents an addictive substance, there will be a demand for it...if it is not a legally purchasable item, then a black market is or will be created for that substance.

Black market prices are artificially inflated to stratospheric levels and the providers become wealthy and politically powerful, as a result of the well-intended prohibition.

By: dargent7 on 5/13/13 at 9:38

The idiotic response to drug use started with the Reagans...Nancy in particular..."Just say No! to drugs..." and they thought that was a brainstorm.
That was in 1980.
Everyone should be able to grow weed in their house/ backyard....100 plants....and if you're caught driving a back-hoe or combine, or golf cart while high,...just like alcohol...you get busted.

By: Loner on 5/13/13 at 9:40

The trouble is, in a nutshell, the criminal justice system and the lawmakers have become addicted to the Drug War itself.

By: dargent7 on 5/13/13 at 9:43

Loner: Pull up the old McCartney interviews on You Tube where he talks about drug use...he admits the Beatles did LSD and he's famous for marijuana use...but his take on today's weed, 20% THC levels vs. 5% in the 70's...is alarming.

By: Captain Nemo on 5/13/13 at 9:45

Spot on Loner. Co- dependences is a live and well.

By: Loner on 5/13/13 at 9:47

That's all we need, cops on the golf courses, administering piss tests to suspicious-looking golfers.....seizing their clubs, the cart and the vehicle that they drove to the golf course.....and cops in the wheat fields, piss testing the combine operators....and cops at every construction site, piss-testing everybody. The cops could seize everything involved and auction the stuff off for cash....Brilliant!

By: BenDover on 5/13/13 at 9:47

War on Drugs was started by Nixon as a treatment program. Reagan took the 'war' part literally and it's possibly his worst legacy.

By: BenDover on 5/13/13 at 9:51

They are tuning homeland security into a national police force loner.

By: Captain Nemo on 5/13/13 at 9:54

I think Loner warn you about that fact many years ago, Ben.

By: Loner on 5/13/13 at 9:55

There is a tremendous amount of disinformation about Cannabis out there....professional zealots have been very successful....the media has been complicit....when it comes to media purchasing, prescription drug advertisers are among the biggest spenders out there.....there is no comparable pro-Cannabis lobby or Cannabis advertising revenue to be had; so the media are reluctant to rock the boat or ruffle any feathers.

By: Loner on 5/13/13 at 9:59

Homeland Insecurity is more apt.....acronym: HI......as in, " HI, we're HI and you gotta reah for sky."

By: Loner on 5/13/13 at 10:02

Ben, your heroes, Junior Bush and Didk Cheney gave us Homeland Security...Joe Lieberman had it all written, edited, typed up and collated for distribution on 9-11-2001...the whole package was crafted in Israel....it's those "shared values" once again......enjoy!

By: BenDover on 5/13/13 at 10:06

I've always been a homeland security critic. The risk they were supposed to protect us from was eliminated while the planes were still in the air. Once the people realized the crazy Muslims had changed the rules on us, the good people on the plane with them were quite willing and able to pound them to death as need be. Hardened cock-pit doors are probably the only smart adaptation from the horrible experience of that day.

Creating a civil army of brown-shirts to harass travelers (and the rest of us, of late) and to become the largest public-sector employee union in the world was a huge mistake that we will spend decades trying to undo, if ever.

By: BenDover on 5/13/13 at 10:10

Now they've got thousands of armored vehicles and are stock-piling ammo like they put Randy Weaver in charge of government purchasing.

By: Loner on 5/13/13 at 10:12

Imagine reading a story in a newspaper about a combine and an entire farm being seized and auctioned by DEA, because the combine operator tested positive for Cannabis.....ain't gonna happen, Darge., at least not yet...I thank the Lords of Cobol for that.

No, the fuzz will take the easy way out and concentrate on known avenues of transport for illegal drugs and drug money...and they will continue to profile drivers....and they will continue to stop you for a minor infraction, say a tail light bulb out, and then proceed to sniff around, looking for real paydirt.....the War on Drugs is an out of control monster.....needs to be put down.

By: Loner on 5/13/13 at 10:20

Why do you still carry the torch for Bush and Cheney, Ben?

They started two expensive and unnecessary wars, Bush signed the Homeland Security legislation into law, creating a national police force....and in their final act, they nearly bankrupted the nation; millions of Americans lost their life savings in the financial debacle that Bush and Cheney allowed on their watch...those zealous de-regulators created the perfect environment for the massive rip-off.

Those two crooks should be facing charges, not dedicating their personal libraries.

By: BenDover on 5/13/13 at 10:20

TSA was never intended to be the monster they morphed it into. Just like the TARP expenditure was supposed to be a one time loan; but has been used as part of the baseline in year-over-year spending since 2008.

By: Loner on 5/13/13 at 10:23

Again, using Drug Law logic: The DEA could piss-test every postal worker in the country...half a million souls.....if just one positive shows up, the DEA could seizxe the entire US Postal Service...fire everyone and auction off their buildings and vehicles.....that's what facilitated the crime, right?

Hey, that's not a bad idea...so long as my pension keeps rolling in.

By: Loner on 5/13/13 at 10:29

Ah...I see...Bush and Cheney are innocent of any guilt relative to those items...but BHO''s alleged abuse of TARP is a hangin' offense...I got it, Ben....you are a rock-ribbed Republican....you look at these issues through that distorting lens, and with blinders on.....take a good l;ook, Ben, Bush & Cheney were among the worst POTUS & VP ever...honest historians won't use your lens or mine....facts are facts...those two screwed up royally.

By: Loner on 5/13/13 at 10:31

The Democrats are the Party of the Idiots....the Republicans are the Party of the Assholes?

By: dargent7 on 5/13/13 at 10:33

Well, legalize it, for God's sake!
Remember 3.2% beer...? Billy Beer?
Now in Tenn. if it's over 5.2%, it's regulated as alcohol...same as Jack Daniels.
Stupid laws...
Marijuana is a PLANT. You grow it...dry it, then smoke it.
Nothing like a meth lab with chemicals, fertilizers, boiling flasks, beakers, pots....
Just smoke the shit!

By: Captain Nemo on 5/13/13 at 10:38

What was you expecting Ben, a nice little puppy dog. The name alone, Homeland Security should have been a giveaway for you. The German Fatherland!

By: yogiman on 5/13/13 at 10:49

Are you saying because one man is a crook, all of his family are crooks? Even though he hasn't been proven guilty?

You can accuse, but you should be prepared to at least make an effort to prove.

By: Loner on 5/13/13 at 10:50

Cannabis is a plant, not a drug....blame the Creator...arrest and incarcerate God, not humans...it's all His fault.....he put that apple tree in the garden, so as to entrap Adam & Eve....he put the Cannabis on planet Earth, to entrap the filthy hippies and the dirty peace freaks....the DEA is simply doing the Lord's work?

By: Loner on 5/13/13 at 10:57

Yogi, I don't chew my cud twice....let me spit it out again:

By: Loner on 5/13/13 at 8:40
Yogi, the Haslams are crooks...brother Jimmy hosed America's truckers for years, cheating them out of rebates etc. the feds did a thorough investigation...the evidence is overwhelming.

Since the Governor, Billy Haslam kept his Pilot-Flying J holdings out of a blind trust arrangement, he is fully culpable, in my view...he had to have known about the long-running scam...that's probably why he did not turn the matter over to a third party, in a blind trust deal...they might have blown the whistle on the whole criminal enterprise.

Since TN voters have shown a sever lack of good judgment, I doubt if the Governor will be forced out of office...the low-info voters are already defending Governor Billy and his filthy family.....they are stuck on stupid.

By: Captain Nemo on 5/13/13 at 10:59

How about lunch, yogi? You show me how smart you think you are. If you don't pee on yourself.

By: Loner on 5/13/13 at 11:00

Again...same typo...s/h/b: "TN voters have shown a severe lack of good judgment..."

Anyone else having problems with Fierfox crashing" I'm using an alternate browser.

By: Loner on 5/13/13 at 11:01

Firefox that is...no spellcheck on this brower....very frustrating.
