Birth control pills recalled, may not prevent pregnancy

Snippet: "Pfizer said on Tuesday it was recalling about 1 million packets of birth control pills in the United States because they may not contain enough contraceptive to prevent pregnancy.

Pfizer said the birth control pills posed no health threat to women but it urged consumers affected by the recall to "begin using a non-hormonal form of contraception immediately."

How many of the born-again females are now going to be faced with their own right-to-life crisis as a result of this?

There is only two requirements necessary to become President of this nation: You must be a natural born citizen and a minimum or 35 years of age.

If you meet those to requirements, hell, even you could run.

Christ! Would someone please execute a "5150" on this yogi, aka, Paul Wade?
At least a "citizen's arrest". Something to put a cork in that mouth of his about, "natural born citizens".

Yogi fact #7

One could drive a schooner through any part of his argument and never scrape against a fact.

By: bfra on 2/1/12 at 1:27

yogi is sitting there, scratching his dumb head, thinking FACT ? ? ? Now what's that?

Come on Darge be reasonable on the Truman deal. The man had a decision to make that I'm sure no human would relish making. Honestly, I probably would have made the same one.

Country had been in war for 5 years. Every pathetic island in the Pacific caused thousands of American lives...the Japanese were entrenched and fought to the bitter end. In order to secure peace and safety he had to take over the mainland. Otherwise Pearl Harbor would have just been the beginning. He dropped one bomb and gave them the opportunity to surrender....to which they didn't...so he dropped another.

He may have taken 500,000 lives but he saved millions by doing so.

Could you explain what our founders had in mind when they put the requirements necessary to hold the presidential office? It shouldn't take a college degree. Hell, it shouldn't even take a college education to understand what their meaning was but considering your mental capacity I understand you ignorance of it.

By: yogiman on 2/1/12 at 2:49

You can excuse him,jvh2b. With his mental capacity its easy to understand.

Being the old fool they think I and because of their ignorance I remember when Truman made those decisions. He talked it out with his staff to come to the conclusion of what the results would be for the common people of Japan. As President, Truman and Truman alone, made the final decision but with the "after his decision" acceptance by his staff.

Japan had been made aware of the atom bomb the US had developed and offered them to surrender or they would be bombed.

Of course, they refused so the first one was dropped. He gave them a few days to see what happened before he asked for their surrender again. They didn't think he would do it again so they again refused and the second bomb was dropped.

I guess they figured he would knock them off the face of the earth so they surrendered. At that time, ships were transporting the men straight to Japan to invade the mainland.

I understand every man in that fleet thanked Harry Truman.

Yogi fact #8

He is a freakish homonculus germinated outside lawful procreation.

Speak for yourself, gdiafarte. I absolutely deny being a member of your family's heritage.

My family's heredity was children with full capacity brains that matured into intelligent adults. Please, don't compare me to you. We ain't kin.

Let's face it. ALL of the candidates running for the GOP nomination are RINOS!

Romney is for government run health care
Gingrich is for amnesty for illegal aliens
Paul wants isolationism which is bad for business and makes us unsafe from terrorists
Santorium wants to make Social Security like welfare - you pay for it but the govenrment decides if you deserve it or not.

That being said, ANY of the above would be better than what we have now.

I just resent the fact that when I vote in the General Election, my choices are either Obama or Obama-lite.

Loner, stay! We need your voice.

By: bfra on 2/1/12 at 5:15

yogi needs to bone up on his retorts! 3 yr. olds on a playground have better ones. Maybe he could visit a few kindergardens & learn something.

By: yogiman on 2/1/12 at 8:55

Is that where you got your education, bfra? I understand. That makes me understand your thinking capacity.

By: Loner on 2/1/12 at 9:08

Thank you, Pswindle.

Looks like the "stay" vote carries the day...sorry Gov, you are outvoted.
