Back to the topic, the NCP text reads: "What do you think about the producer of the anti-Islam film that lead to riots and deaths in Libya being arrested in California on a probation violation?"

The riots in Libya were deadly; but evidence now suggests that the riots may have been a diversion, convenient cover, for a well-planned assassination. The video-inspired riots and the hit-job may not have been coordinated efforts....just a macabre coincidence. The assassins took advantage of the chaos, that's for sure.

By: gdiafante on 9/28/12 at 9:01

The riots provided an opportunity for a pre-planned attack, no doubt Loner. As with most issues, knee-jerk reactions are counterintuitive.

But, in the age of instant media, over-reaction, misintrepretation and the like are the norm.

I got to go for a time. I’ll check in at some point today, if I can.

Later, Nemo.

It's too coincidental that the anti-Muslim film and the 11th anniversary of 9/11 happened on the same freekin' day.
I'm just deeply sorry 2 ex-Navy SEALs were killed in the attacks.
My ex-wife was married to one, dated another, and I met them both, and trust me, they are ****in' serious about everthing they do. Everything. Sun up to sun set. Afternoons, too.

By: gdiafante on 9/28/12 at 9:52

I don't think there's any coincidence, darge. That film was created to inflict maximum damage and when better to inflict it than on the anniversary of 9/11?

Hell, I wouldn't be surprised if it was coordinated with Al-Qaeda in the first place.

Maybe they were watching "Die Hard with a Vengance"....remember that? Create a major diversion and then rob a bank...create massive riots to mask an assassination...seems about right.

Our problem was that John McClane wasn't in Libya at the time.

Yogi is a piece of work. He must have been dropped on his head as a baby. President Obama's birth certificate has turnmed him into a babbling idiot.

By: Loner on 9/28/12 at 9:59

See ya, Captain...may the force be with you.

Darge, an Egyptian Sheikh, with a televised talk-show, showed bits of the relatively unknown video on Egyptian TV...the Islamic masses brayed like jack-asses...the rest is history. I Goggled around to back my claim up...here's my best source:

http://www.scpr.org/programs/airtalk/2012/09/12/28388/libya-ambassador-killing/

Snippet:
A television host in Cairo, Sheikh Khaled Abdallah, aired excerpts from Bacile’s video, which incensed viewers so much that 2,000 demonstrators assembled outside the U.S. Embassy in Cairo on Tuesday night and successfully took down the American flag and replaced it with one of solid black. (End snippet)

The video clip was released in July, but there were no Arabic subtitles until shortly before 9-11...that's when the Muslim clerics and TV hosts got wind of the foul film.

The film-maker violated his parole agreement.....lock the schmuck up...for his own protection, if nothing else.....once he has served his time, deport the riot-inciting zealot back to his to his homeland...put him on a no-fly list.....end of story.

By: Blanketnazi2 on 9/28/12 at 10:08

pswindle, I have a feeling he was a babbling idiot long before then. The birth certificatie is a symptom, not the cause.

By: Loner on 9/28/12 at 10:10

Lots of black Muslims in prison...put the film-maker in with those fellas?

By: yogiman on 9/28/12 at 10:11

Loner,

I agree with you on your 7:44 post. Send those immigrants back to their homeland... and add Obama to that mob.

dargent7,

Correction, please. A president cannot put this nation into war by Executive Order. He must have approval of Congress to start a war. At least, that was until Obama took over.

You've cited Bush causing 6500 and 4500 soldiers being killed in that war. Which number is it?

By: Loner on 9/28/12 at 10:21

The delay gave him time to destroy evidence, threaten potential witnesses and martial his resources...I cannot understand the delay either, Bfra....I mean we knew the identities of the 9-11 hijackers almost immediately....but it took several days to locate the guy and then they just questioned him...then days later, they arrested him....what gives?

Well, Loner,

I must agree with you again. In your 8:15 post you stated: "This nation has lost its bearing", but I must disagree with you on the reason.

You blame Netanyahu of Israel. I must blame Barack Obama of Kenya. Netanyahu does not control the US. Obama does, and he's pushing for more control, thus we have lost our bearing for allowing a usurper into office; unquestioned by congress.

B2,

I'm amazed. You and pswindle (and others) say I'm a fool, but you're proving yourselves to be idiots every time you post your comments. You claim I'm wrong, but you've never offered proof you're right. You have only said; I think.

You're showing support for a man whom you don't even know his official name. You do? Prove it.

As I've posted before; prove me wrong and I'll apologize and get off his back. But you haven't because you can't.

Yeah, he's going by Barack Obama, but who in the hell is he?

You and your fellow posters are much like Mike with your attitudes: To hell with the Constitution.

May I suggest you move to Kenya with Barry when he goes back home?

Can you explain why his literary agent advertised his birth place as Kenya for 16 years? They showed he was raised in Indonesia and Hawaii. Where did they get that information?

By: Loner on 9/28/12 at 11:02

I tried to leave post on the site I mentioned earlier, but could not get it through their moderation...and that is one of the most liberal sites out there....I did not save it, so it's gone...I put some time into researching and sourcing it too....it was too anti-Zionist for the anti-Zionists? Of course, I did mention Helen Thomas' name in the banned post, that could have triggered the censorship.

http://original.antiwar.com/justin/2012/09/27/bibis-crazy-un-speech/

Too bad, I like that site and the author of that piece is quite gifted, IMO. Now, I really do feel like a loner....Anti-War.com has banned my commentary....they posted my complaint, but the original post never saw the light of day.

Anti-War.com could be front for some right-wing fringe group?

By: yogiman on 9/28/12 at 11:49

Is it part of the game all over the nation? I've read where a algebra professor at a Florida university ordered her students to sign an affidavit they would vote for Barack Obama and democrats in all the other races.

I wonder if they'll keep her.

Nemo........I will be back in Nashville from November 20 to November 30. How about you
and I and your buddy BlanketNazi2 have lunch. My treat at your pick or my treat at my club. (There is a dress code) NO debating just two cultures getting to know one another and why we are what we are.

I would like to see us exhange barbs without the personal attacks. My opinion is no better than yours and yours is no better than mine. It is difficult for me to understand where you are coming from and obviously difficult for you to see where I am coming from.
and just as obvious that I do not understand where you are coming from

There are only 16 of us who make up this forum. It could be an excellent exchange if we allow it to be. In fact I would like to see others join us in getting to know the person behind the post.

By: Blanketnazi2 on 9/28/12 at 2:34

Rasp, I have no desire to associate with someone who channels Thurston Howell from Gilligan's Island. I pass.

By: yogiman on 9/28/12 at 3:32

It should be obvious as to where anyone on this post is coming from, Rasputin72.

One group so willingly accepts a person in their president's office whom they don't know. They don't even know his legitimate name but they think they know everything in this world so they "know" he's eligible.

Sadly, I must say they don't know why our Constitution was written like it was. They obviously don't understand why our founders spent the time and effort they did in writing that book for us... their future heirs.

To accept someone as your president who refuses to prove to you who he is, proves you to be the fool you are.

The other group is American citizens concerned when a man in the White House, basically unknown in this nation, refuses to identify himself to them. They are concerned where this nation is going. I, being one of that group, am concerned why congress has allowed this to happen without raising a question on the issue.

I see Congress as a one party Congress, each member identifying themselves as being a member of one of the two named groups: Democrat and Republican.

We only have 40 days to see which "group" on this site is right. Just wondering, will the other group admit they were wrong?

Again, I say consider a point: This issue has been before the citizens of our nation for four years. What has been done to correct any found errors? Will any of the states require proof of Constitutional eligibility to be listed on their ballot? Why hasn't all states made that a requirement. The same goes with the Electoral College and Senate. Will they each require affirmation to the winner's Constitutional eligibility? If they don't, they have chosen to take our nation into communism and you can kiss the USA goodbye.

yogi: Since Rummy "didn't do body counts" and they hid the returning drapped coffins of US soldiers from the press (that, in itself, is treason), the official DEAD for Iraq stands at 4,550. Give or take.
Add in another 2,000 for Afghanistan. Add in another 51, "green on blue" where these a-holes we trained kill us.
The dead civilians in the Middle East from these two US invasions and wars?
According to the State Department, "Who give's a shit?"

BlanketNazi2........Ahh, Diversity and class warfare the purveyors of the future for the United States. If you turned me down because of the dress code we can lunch at a place of your choice.

If you are a shut in, then I apologize if I have embarassed you by the invitation. It was a well intended thought that was unacceptable.

By the way, who was or is Thurston Howell?

That sounds good Rasputin, but I will pay my own way. I'll let you know where later.

This arrest by our all powerful government was a political one and good
will gesture to the Muslim world. Yes, we fill your pain and as has been
stated by the President and others we find this man's video disgusting
and we will jail him for offending you. There, done, nothing to see here.

Of course, the above can't be said to the America Public so we did the perp
walk and arrest on a parole violations in spite of the fact we haven't
actually had a hearing on that violation yet. Original raid on his home
was by FBI Swat Team at 1:30 a.m. with TV cameras present. That
should show our citizens what their 1st Amendment is worth.

By: Loner on 9/28/12 at 10:24

Govseptic is a big fan of free speech, as long as it's Islamophobic hate speech or hate speech directed at President Obama.

Gov does not normally come to the defense of scofflaw aliens...unless those aliens are inciting riots in the Muslim world....those are the kind of aliens he likes.

Sadly, Gov believes that the perp's arrest is part of a grand conspiracy to deprive this innocent man of his constitutional rights....even though the perp is not a US citizen.

It's situational ethics, Govseptic-style.

Loner: That 10:24 posting concerning me is about as wrong as anyone
living in a world of snow and northern ignorance could be. But
thanks for reading my thoughts on our loss of Freedoms under this
President and Bush's ever enlarging Police State policies.

By: Rasputin72 on 9/29/12 at 11:20

Govskeptic.........LONER failed at "human effort in his generation" Bright but mentally lazy. Now he wants to pontificate all over America about things that he dislikes about the world that left him behind. He is a good man but totally frustrated by the world as it has been since mankind began.

Mankind has been cruel for its entire existence to those that do not respect power as it exists. A terrible thing obviously but not something that the mentally lazy and the weak will ever correct.

I agree with many of LONER's rants. However I play the game the way the rules are made. There are no other successful choices.
