How do you feel about the selection of Pope Francis, the first non-European pontiff? Is it a wise decision? Is he a good or bad choice?

Jug...you made more sense when you whined about your wee wee...you should have left it at that....you went from boringly annoying to full whacko mode....your cred is zero...go ahead, rant and rave...show us the depth of your lunacy...we need a good laugh....proceed.

By: yogiman on 3/14/13 at 7:56

dumba$$, me boy,

Until you learn to spell, you shouldn't ridicule others.

By: Rasputin72 on 3/14/13 at 7:57

LONER........Trolls are a definition by the beholder. Trolls are the mainstay of this forum. Without the trolls your sermonettes would fall on deaf ears.

Let's hear it for YOUR troll grpup! Hip,Hip Hooray!

By: Captain Nemo on 3/14/13 at 7:58

Loner it is people like The Jughead Madison a bad name.

As a non-catholic, I still find the selection of a new Pope to be of intrigue. Francis I seems to be a humble man, much as JPII was. I pray he will have sway over the 1.2 Billion of his faith to lead them to a great revival among them.

I appreciate those catholics who recognize Jesus Christ as the Savior and path to salvation - true Christians. For those catholics who participate in the rituals of the church in the guise of salvation, I pity them come their day of reckoning. Also, for those who would ridicule Christians and deny Christ as their Savior, pity doesn't even come close to what I have for them.

Nice of all you fine folks to keep things on-topic. Perhaps one day the CP will devote the QotD forum to What do you think of the people who generally post on the QotD forum?

By: bfra on 3/14/13 at 8:01

Nemo - It's Raspy's thingy with memory, he doesn't have any. But, his tail must be better after getting stomped over the weekend as he is slithering out a little more.

By: gdiafante on 3/14/13 at 8:01

Yes, looks like the trolls are out in force today. Jughead is interesting. He is really expressing is his frustration with his own sexuality. He must overcompensate in one area because he is clearly deficient in the other.

Textbook case, even down to the juvenile insults, which are likely just the sort he has dealt with all of his life and he now deflects to others. It's a coping mechanism.

Don't laugh folks, mental illness is not funny.

By: Captain Nemo on 3/14/13 at 8:01

What are you talking about Jackass?

By: Captain Nemo on 3/14/13 at 8:02

Raspy old bouy what is a grpup?

By: yogiman on 3/14/13 at 8:06

A good short 'talk' for you and your Obama fans, Loner. It raises the question why Obama called Kenya his home in 2006.

www.wnd.com/2012/09/video-obmam-called-kenya-his-home/

That happened on August 26, 2006. Did he re-decide he was born in the USA in 2007 when he entered the race for presidency?

Then the question remains: Why did he advertise he was born in Kenya and raised in Indonesia and Hawaii for 16 years (from 1991 to 2007 WHEN HE ENTERED THE PRESIDENTIAL RACE).

By: Captain Nemo on 3/14/13 at 8:06

Rasputin come to us from an make-believe world and only talks of him self as something to be hold. Now he wants us to believe that we are the trolls and not him. That is funny old bouy.

By: Captain Nemo on 3/14/13 at 8:07

More drool from Gordonsville. Fact yofi, facts.

By: Rasputin72 on 3/14/13 at 8:09

NEMO, my guess is that a grpup is your biological father.

By: yogiman on 3/14/13 at 8:11

You obviously should know about mental illness, gdiafante. You have my humblest sympathy. I hope you 'beat it' in the future.

By: Captain Nemo on 3/14/13 at 8:14

Rasputin you still haven't explained what a grpup is.

By: gdiafante on 3/14/13 at 8:17

Yogi, you shouldn't really comment on any mental health issue, I could write an entire dissertation on your issues and it would get published as a peer-reviewed article faster than you can mangle the English language.

By: Rasputin72 on 3/14/13 at 8:17

NEMO, I gave you my best guess. You are strictly on your own if you wish to pursue it further.

By: bfra on 3/14/13 at 8:21

Nemo - Raspy's memory isn't that long. He can't even remember long enough to back up his lies.

By: Captain Nemo on 3/14/13 at 8:22

I look it up Raspy old bouy. A grpup is a person of low class that wants people to think they are somebody. I think that is more in your line. LOL

By: Blanketnazi2 on 3/14/13 at 8:25

yogi claims to have "edited" his copy of the Constitution. That's why he can't understand how BHO could be eligible for presidency.

By: Captain Nemo on 3/14/13 at 8:25

bfra, he must get it from his grandpa yogi.

By: Captain Nemo on 3/14/13 at 8:27

I think yogi's brain has been edited. That would explain why he can't seem to think.

By: Captain Nemo on 3/14/13 at 8:28

Got to go. I check back later.

By: Loner on 3/14/13 at 8:35

We get a brief look inside the mindset of a smug and arrogant born-again with this gem from PKVol:
I appreciate those catholics who recognize Jesus Christ as the Savior and path to salvation - true Christians. For those catholics who participate in the rituals of the church in the guise of salvation, I pity them come their day of reckoning. Also, for those who would ridicule Christians and deny Christ as their Savior, pity doesn't even come close to what I have for them.

PK did not capitalize the word, "Catholic"...twice...so it must be a deliberate denigration of Catholics and Catholicism...he capitalized the word, "Christian", however. But that's just at the surface,..he knows what a "true Christian" is....how arrogant is that?

PKVols paradise is one in which the Christian believers look down on those souls suffering for eternity in hell with a certain glee and satisfaction...Schadenfreude Heaven...sounds like fun to some, I suppose....to me, it sounds rather hellish.

By: Rasputin72 on 3/14/13 at 8:36

NEMO.......Compared to you and your fellow muckrackers I am the second coming of the Messiah.

You should release my name to the forum. You.do not need my permission but it would allow for some expected adulation.

As you know productive Americans even those that are retired have productive agendas so I am off to a brunch on a beautiful cruise down the inland waterway with some other worthless bastards like myself. I think their yacht is just a front for their wannabee desires.

You, I am sure would concur.

By: yogiman on 3/14/13 at 8:40

You have me consent if you agree with me to split your earnings from it, gdiafante. After all, I'm giving you that information you're refusing to accept.

And you might, also, want to check out what the Washington Examiner had to say about your man.

washingtonexaminer.com/obama#.UUHUdldMeGb/

Try it, you might not like it.

By: Loner on 3/14/13 at 8:40

Rasp...watch out for gators while "yachting"....if they smell an old, gin-soaked, Grey-Poupon-stained dude on an inner-tube, that geezer goes on their menu...be careful.

By: Blanketnazi2 on 3/14/13 at 8:42

yogi, did you "italianize" the Constitution when you "edited" it?

By: slacker on 3/14/13 at 8:48

Sounds like Rasp is being permitted to sell ''The Contributor'' on The General Jackson today. Act humble Rasp.. the big tippers like that.

By: gdiafante on 3/14/13 at 8:48

You have me consent if you agree with me to split your earnings from it, gdiafante

I stand corrected. He mangled English faster than I could submit my dissertation...lol

Blanket, he took a coarse in Constitutional Editing from the Univeristy of Phoenix.

By: Blanketnazi2 on 3/14/13 at 8:49

LOL, g. Of coarse he did!

By: bfra on 3/14/13 at 8:50

Loner - I don't think those gators get this far North & expecially not around the Mission or cardboard alley houses. But then that rank gin & grey poupon might draw just about anything.

By: yogiman on 3/14/13 at 8:51

No, B2, I "idealized" it.

By: Blanketnazi2 on 3/14/13 at 8:55

Only in your small, bigoted mind, you old fool.

By: Loner on 3/14/13 at 8:56

The Northern Fur-Bearing Alligator used to roam the hills and valleys of Appalachia...then the whites came...they claim that Jim Bowie stabbed the last one to death, in a bar-room bet.

By: Blanketnazi2 on 3/14/13 at 8:56

btw, Pope Francis is not the first non-European pope. He is just the first modern era non-European pope.

By: Loner on 3/14/13 at 8:58

Yeah, they had that Jewish Pope for a while, right?

By: slacker on 3/14/13 at 9:00

New Pope.. God Particle found..coincidence?

By: Blanketnazi2 on 3/14/13 at 9:00

St. Peter who was from Bethsaida which is now modern day Israel.

By: Blanketnazi2 on 3/14/13 at 9:01

By: Loner on 3/14/13 at 9:02

Pope Bilo Sellhi ran the church briefly, during the first century Anno Domine....I don't make this stuff up...Google it.

By: Loner on 3/14/13 at 9:06

When I first heard that the new pope was from Argentina, I assumed that another former Nazi had been chosen....you know, the U-boat refugees.

By: yogiman on 3/14/13 at 9:06

B2,

You Obama fans might want to know: There is only 11 pages in our original Constitution. It t was then amended with 8 new pages over the years.

Since it's only 19 pages long, surely you could take enough time to read it and hopefully understand it.

And surely you should notice they never changed the requirements in Article II. Section 1. Paragraph 5 to become President of this nation.

And surely you all know Obama said he was born in Kenya with a Kenyan father who was a British subject. And you surely know he advertised that information for 16 years in advertising his book "Dreams from My Father".

So, surely, one of you can explain to me how he became a natural born citizen as required by the Constitution to become President of our nation.

If you can, thank you, I'll wait.

By: gdiafante on 3/14/13 at 9:07

Pope Pope I: Pope County, Ill (stardate 5419.9)

By: gdiafante on 3/14/13 at 9:09

Surely you can understand that the Constitition does not define "natural born citizen". My guess is that is the part you edited.

By: yogiman on 3/14/13 at 9:09

Sorry, B2.

Our minds apparently differ. Yours being brilliantly ignorant and mine be stupidly brilliant.

By: Loner on 3/14/13 at 9:09

By: slacker on 3/14/13 at 10:00

New Pope.. God Particle found..coincidence?

Yeah, about as coincidental as finding ten stones in a perfect circle....the Second Coming cannot be far off...so, give generously now....tithe your ass off!

By: Blanketnazi2 on 3/14/13 at 9:09

LOL, Loner. I thought about that then I thought "Oh, another Italian who just happens to live in Latin America."

By: Blanketnazi2 on 3/14/13 at 9:10

No, yogi. You're just stupid AND ignorant. You multi-task!

By: slacker on 3/14/13 at 9:15

Loner, that's hilarious.. Pope Adolph Eichmann.
