If Barry can even get control of our BB guns, that is simply his first step into absolute gun control.

Why, after 200 years of this nations citizens having guns for self use, makes the government think we should give our guns up so they will be the only ones that have guns? Could it possibly be to give them the ability to order us how to live our lives as they see fit, not how we want to personally?

How many nations have you ever known that had citizens who owned personal weapons?

Unless you guys want to live like the citizens of the nations that have dictators in control, you had better wake up.

Barack Hussein Obama was born a British subject because his father was a British subject of Kenya. His mother was an American citizen and his being born in Hawaii (if he was) would not make him a natural born citizen. He would have been no more than a dual-citizen.

But if he was born in Kenya like he advertised for 16 years in promoting his autobiography, his mother could not pass her American citizenship down to him because of her age. He would not be entitled to dual-citizenship.

Why do you think this man is spending so much money to keep his papers under lock and key?

Another question on his education: Did he really go to the schools he claims to have attended? Why won't several students come forward to offer their recognition of him? Why can't they find any students that will claim they knew him? They have been few and far between. Are they simply ones wanting recognition?

By: gdiafante on 1/16/13 at 9:46

Stop embarrassing yourself, yogi. We all lower the bar for you given your history but it's become so low an Amoeba wouldn't be able to get under there.

By: yogiman on 1/16/13 at 9:52

You can look at this issue both ways, guys, but you can bet your a$$es if Barry get's it through and the people let's him pull it off, you've kissed the USA goodbye.

You should take the solid advice from the people of the nations that have advised us to keep our guns. And who would know more than the people of the nations that let their government take their guns from them? How many criminals have given up their guns? None.

How many nations have been put under absolute control by their government? All of them that gave their guns.

By: BenDover on 1/16/13 at 9:58

Yea! The Springfield may be safe!

By: yogiman on 1/16/13 at 9:59

We seem to have different dictionaries for definitions, gdiafante.

Mine defines; "squib": To utter in an offhand manner. That defines me.

It defines "squid": A long tapered body, a caudal fin on each side. We call them arms for you. So, how wide is your shoulders and how narrow is your a$$?

By: yogiman on 1/16/13 at 10:08

Or do you have narrow shoulders and big broad a$$. gdiafante?

By: gdiafante on 1/16/13 at 10:21

See what I mean about squids...so concerned over the size of my ass...you're just freaking weird, yogi. Do I need a restraining order?

By: yogiman on 1/16/13 at 10:40

I don't like what I see if it's a big broad a$$, gdiafante. That would mean your brain is about the size of half of a green pea. And I don't mean green pee from a mental capacity drug you're on.

By: gdiafante on 1/16/13 at 10:45

Ok...well you just keep worrying about the size of my ass, freak, and I'll ignore you. Mkay? Thanks, nutjob.

By: Captain Nemo on 1/16/13 at 10:50

Now gdia you mustn't let the veteran of the ships head get to you. lol

By: Rocket99 on 1/16/13 at 12:24

yogiman, the current sitting President is not in the office illegally. There has been more scrutiny over his place of birth than any other President. It has been proven that he is in fact a U.S. citizen by birth. Maybe we should put you under the same microscope and see what is revealed.

Banning a certain type of gun from public consumption is not getting rid of the 2nd amendment. Making them illegal and closing all the loopholes will make it harder for the criminal element to obtain such weapons.

Who needs an assault rifle to go hunting or defend their home? No one really. My 12 gague will do quite nicely in blowing a hole in someone if they decide to invade my property.

By: dargent7 on 1/16/13 at 12:52

I was watching The Today show with two of the idiotic Kardasians and Lance Armstrongs pitch from Oprah, and was rudely interrupted by Obama's Press Conference...
He NAILED it. 900 dead children, kids, in the past year in America.
No more assault rifles, 30 round magazines, and way stiffer backround checks.
If you have an arrest record for so much as jay-walking or not flushing the toilet or keeping the seat UP, NO gun for you!
Obama will save America from itself, ie., Republicans.

By: gdiafante on 1/16/13 at 12:53

But in Oregon, Linn County Sheriff Tim Mueller wrote a letter to Biden Monday saying his department will not enforce any new gun laws it considers unconstitutional.

It's not up to him or his department to determine the Consitutionality of a federal law. You'd think a sheriff would be smart enough to understand that. I'd say they need a new one.

By: gdiafante on 1/16/13 at 12:56

I agree, darge. I think it was exactly what I thought it was, the old law with a few new wrinkles dealing with background checks, updated technology, etc. His EO's look to deal with the mental health aspect. Good for him. It's nice to see at least one person in Washington that is intelligent.

The GOP/NRA (one and the same) will fight this with everything they have. They've already started straw-man ads that feature the President's daughters. They have no class. Douchebags, every one.

By: dargent7 on 1/16/13 at 12:58

Our resident "numb-nut" equates an AR-15 to a ball-pene hammer.
His whole "usurper", holding the office "illegally"," never graduated from college"," doesn't know the US Constitution", is getting irksome and tiresome.
Wish he'd just continue to play with his Wang, naked.
And sorry if brrrrk is still eating his cereal.

By: dargent7 on 1/16/13 at 1:24

To expidite a hear attack...read The Tennessean's LTE's on this subject today.
Seems everyone in Tenn. has an arsenal of AR-15's and 30 round magazines on the kitchen table.
For what?
I remember when the author of "The Sylvan Par"k book told me that Sylvan Park was known for "home invasions, rapes, assults, burglaries..."
Having only lived there for 6 years and never locked our front doors, windows, or car doors, and only saw white people strolling their strollers with a dog, I was shocked.
That's one of the main reasons I moved to Californication...you meet a better class of crazies and nuts. At least out here people know they're nuts.
Tennesseans think they're "normal".

By: yogiman on 1/16/13 at 1:32

Have you ever heard of the requirement to become president of the USA you must be a natural born citizen, Rocket99? What did our founders mean by that when they made that a requirement to become president?

I don't believe they meant for a British subject to become president of the USA 200 years later and simply being born in the USA doesn't make you a natural born citizen. If he was born in Hawaii (which we don't really know, do we?) with a Kenyan father, he could only be eligible for a dual citizenship.

If he was born in Kenya, as he advertised for 16 years in promoting his book, his American citizen mother could not pass her American citizenship down to him because of her age.

And since you seem to know so much about the man, tell me, when did he repatriate his citizenship to American from Indonesian? When did he change his legal name from Barry Soetoro to Barack Obama?

Sorry, Rocket99, but your man isn't in that office legally... and he knows it. That's why he has kept all of his papers under lock and key. If he is in that office legally, why doesn't he simply show the papers that prove it for the world to see?

And why do you think the dictators from communist nations around the world make such supportive comments about him?

Why did he show such disrespect for the flag and national anthem. That is, before he was "elected".

Hey, "yogi". Inaguration day is in just shy of a week.
Fly to Washington DC and stop it..
Wh,y we can't have an usurper and illegal alien in the White House.
Now, Can we?
Then the Secret Service can have you incarcerated on a "5150".

The Nuts, Rednecks & Assholes (NRA ) lobby has put out an ad targeting President Obama's kids...almost daring one of their followers to attack the President's two daughters...of course, they deny any such intent....how low will the NRA go....check out the video:

Nuts, Rednecks & Assholes have a solution to the gun violence epidemic: More Guns.

By: Captain Nemo on 1/16/13 at 2:24

That does not work gdia. He know that you aware of his presents.

Rocket99, we all have shown yogi to be a moron. All he wants is the attention..

By: Captain Nemo on 1/16/13 at 2:28

They are cowards for it Loner. They know that there is a change in the air and instead of helping to shape the change, there use a cowardly tactic.

By: Captain Nemo on 1/16/13 at 2:31

Ben I do i\like you, but your earlier post makes me think that you are more concerned over the amount of rounds a clip can hold than the lives of children.

By: Loner on 1/16/13 at 2:31

The new NRA slogan: Stand And Fight is inaccurate, their slogan should be Stoop And Fight....centering the President's daughters in the NRA's cross-hairs is stooping to a new low in sleaze.....it's downright cowardly....this is no surprise, as the NRA is founded upon fear and cowardice....it's in their very soul.

By: Captain Nemo on 1/16/13 at 2:39

It is not very difficult to change a semi-automatic gun into a fully automatic. So the NRA , the gun dealers and their paranoid clientele know this.

By: Captain Nemo on 1/16/13 at 2:39

It is not very difficult to change a semi-automatic gun into a fully automatic. So the NRA , the gun dealers and their paranoid clientele know this.

By: Loner on 1/16/13 at 2:53

You gotta hand it to the NRA, they are slick and they have media and political savvy, top notch personnel and state of the art media production facilities.... and other resources.

And they have plenty of cash...La Pierre makes over a million bucks per year. The whole thing is fear-based, as every member of Congress lives in fear of pissing off the NRA...same goes for state-level lawmakers...the NRA's clout is fear-based and cowardly politicians are their pawns.

The NRA's propaganda keeps the gunners in a state of constant low-level fear...which they occasionally ramp up, as they are doing now. If it isn't fear of a personal attack or home invasion, it's the fear that government will abolish the 2nd amendment and confiscate all 300 million firearms already in the US....as I said, the NRA is built upon fear and cowardice....their attack ads clearly reflect that mindset.

We are talking about mass hysteria here, people....this is not going to end well.

The Secret Service should increase it's security for the President and his family....the Nuts, Rednecks & A-holes are hopping mad and may be motivated to action.

By: yogiman on 1/16/13 at 2:56

Wouldn't it be nice if you could match the bad man with clips and rounds of ammunition, dumba$$? You'd sure have a better chance at winning, wouldn't you?

What if three criminals break into your home and you're restricted to only 10 rounds of ammo. You better hope you hit them the first shots because you'll be dead before you can fire the next rounds. That is if you have an extra clip and don't get killed before you can re-load.

By: yogiman on 1/16/13 at 2:59

Question: Where did the 900 children killed in the last year come from? I never heard of any numbers like that over the news. Did he just pick them it of thin air?

By: Loner on 1/16/13 at 3:12

My point about this being fear-based mass hysteria is well-illustrated by Yogiman's 2:56 post. All kinds of scary scenarios can be invented by the fear-ravaged and hateful mind....trouble is, there are tens of millions who would agree with his comment.

By: Loner on 1/16/13 at 3:20

It's 4:20 in New York....enough of this madness....time to smoke the pipe of peace....as Willie Nelson said, "Let not mankind bogart love."

By: BenDover on 1/16/13 at 3:34

That's a false dichotomy Nemo. Taking away my high cap. magazines won't save a single child's life. Getting kids into the shooting sports by letting them shoot cool high powered semi-auto weapons at the range could continue our 2nd Amendment liberties in this country for another generation though... possibly halving again the violent crime rate over the next 30 years here in the USA... and allowing us to continue to have violent crime rates far less than in the UK where such liberties have been removed.

By: Loner on 1/16/13 at 3:39

Ben wrote, Getting kids into the shooting sports by letting them shoot cool high powered semi-auto weapons at the range could continue our 2nd Amendment liberties in this country for another generation."

That's what Nancy Lanza used to say, isn't it?

By: yogiman on 1/16/13 at 3:43

If you get back from your battle of love, Loner, I'd like to ask you a question: What would have happened to that young woman and her children in Atlanta if there had been two criminals that broke into her home?

I understand she only had 7 bullets in her gun (and thank God her husband had taught her how to use it). What if she didn't get them both with seven shots?

Another question: What made that man look for her and the children in that "hideaway" spot?

Intelligence should tell you a criminal will have all the guns and ammo 'he' wants, even if there is a no gun law on the books.

So why protect the criminal and put the honest people up for desertion?

By: Loner on 1/16/13 at 3:59

Ben's American fantasy continued with the idea that "getting kids to the range" could have the effect of, "possibly halving again the violent crime rate over the next 30 years here in the USA... and allowing us to continue to have violent crime rates far less than in the UK where such liberties have been removed."

Ben claims that banning guns in the UK is the sole cause of higher violent crime rates there, as opposed to here, in the US. He would have us believe that gun control causes violent crime to increase, not decrease.

The truth is that lots of factors have contributed to the increase in violent crime in the UK....strict firearms licensing is not one of them. The scarcity of firearms in the civilian population of the United Kingdom has certainly resulted in far fewer gun-related deaths per thousand there, as composed to that rate here. Without strict gun control in the UK, the carnage would be much worse.

Nobody in the UK seems to be clamoring for the right to keep and bear arms, so as to decrease the violent crime rate, Ben....maybe you should write a letter to the folks living in the UK....a Letter to the Editor of the leading UK newspapers might be the way to go. You could be their Gun-rights Messiah.....go for it!

By: yogiman on 1/16/13 at 4:11

Question, Loner,

Why did the police officers in England begin wearing weapons after they passed that "no-guns allowed" law in England? They didn't wear weapons for centuries when the British subjects had the right to own weapons. What happened?

By: dargent7 on 1/16/13 at 4:18

Obama used the espression, '900 killed in this past year alone..."
He COMBINED all the kids, students, teachers, Gabby Giffords, etc.
To a Republican, they'll say, "It was only 899 people killed"." He's lying".
That's the salient difference between Democrats and Republicans...one can see the big picture, the other only small, minor detail to refute the truth.
In the USA, 20,000 are killed annually by gunfire.
I know it's heavy math and lifting for Republicans, but that's nearly 2,000 a month.
Of which Obama stated 900 were KIDS, ie., children, ie., adolescents, ie., not yet adults.
As President, he has to encompass ALL Americans with a wide brush.
Get with it.

By: BenDover on 1/16/13 at 4:19

A case study.

By: yogiman on 1/16/13 at 4:27

"This year will go down in history for the first time a civilized nation has full gun registration. Our streets will be safer, our police more efficient, and the world will follow our lead in the future". Adolph Hitler, 1935

Ask the Jews heirs if they regret their ancestors believed him.

By: dargent7 on 1/16/13 at 4:41

Hitler in 1935? Why not bring up Gingrich in 2011," We'll colonize the Moon in eight years..."

By: yogiman on 1/16/13 at 5:11

What has Gingrich to do with gun control, dargent7? How many people has Gingrich killed? When did he sign a bill to take our defense weapons (our guns)?

When did he sign 23 bills after saying there would only be 19 on gun rights? Why won't Obama show those bills when he sings them?

Wake up, dargent7. I hate to see you sleep until Obama wakes you up.

By: bfra on 1/16/13 at 5:25

Obama has finally pushed yogi over the top! Now he hears Obama "singing" bills.

By: yogiman on 1/16/13 at 5:54

Sorry, bfra. Unlike you, I misspell a word at times.

But there is one thing I fully agree with Master Obama on; that is a full background check on the the applicant.

How about him being a prime example of his thoughts on the subject and having a full background check on himself. I would just hope he co-operated to a full extent and didn't lie too much.

By: Ask01 on 1/16/13 at 6:32

The pro gun control crowd continually makes clear the desire to ban only assault weapons, which should only be available to the military, and high capacity magazines, so people will have to eventually stop and reload, and can't just fire forever.

No law will deter the "bad guys" but if obtaining certain classes of weapons, ammunition, and magazines is more difficult, carrying long prison sentences for trafficking, the price will go up, meaning the common thug will be less likely to have these weapons.

What amazes me, is the anti gun control crowd is whipping themselves into a frenzy, wailing about the confiscation of all guns, the abolition of the Second Amendment, and the heartbreak of psoriasis. (I made that last up.)

I am amazed because that is not what has been proposed.

The firearms enthusiasts keep chanting the mantra that since cars, knives, tools, rocks, sticks, and paper clips can kill, we should ban them along with guns. The comparison is puerile and the reasoning sophmoric. For one, few are talking about banning guns, and the items listed are designed for other uses, whereas guns are designed to kill. Period. End of use list. (Ok, knives can be used to kill, before some addle brained gunner jumpers in to point out the obvious, but with myriad other uses in their repetoire, knives get a pass.)

The bottom line is the NRA has successfully instilled the notion in gunners that they must have a weapon, the bigger the better, protect them and their families from the roaming bands of criminals waiting to break down their doors, or assault their families as they make the hazard filled trek from door to car and car to supermarket, bar, restaurant, or any other place they frequent. (Perhaps they just need the firepower to bolster their egos and self confidence or perhaps compensate for some shortcoming.)

I do believe the spectacle will be interesting when the government begins enforcing the ban. There are, as I noted before, probably many future felons here who will refuse to obey the law. Of course, some may, if they live up to their line of talk, have their gun taken from their lifeless hand.

We'll at least have some very fascinating conversations at that time.

By: budlight on 1/17/13 at 5:56

The average American child in an average neighborhood school is more likely to be in harm's way than the children of obama who are covered by armed secret service agents with machine guns. AND he does not want the average american child in an average american school protected by armed guards. Only his kids are worth that type of investment -- at least in his mind. This man is so two faced.

He didn't even pronounce newtown correctly. He called it newton.

The Fable Of All The Animals In The Forest Who Had Guns (12 January 2013)

The Old Wise Owl hooted, hollered loud but clear, he also moaned during the night and day and cried all night long. He stood all along the Watchtower. He knew that as far as he could see and beyond was the land that belonged to the Creator.
The snakes hid underneath rocks that were slippery and old but had always been their home. Many small rats and other animals that lived in holes carried well oiled 25 automatics tied to their furry bodies. But the big boys the bears, the deer carried rifles often used in warfare. But this was after the time when some monkeys and baboons in Africa invented gun powder around 1232.

The monkeys, baboons and gorillas along with the great elephant and the king of the jungle the lion and tiger had grown tired and weary of the subjects called man who was alleged to be human that came into their territory. They first came just to watch and gaze upon the greatness of the little and small people of the great forest called the jungle.

But these subjects eventually came with big and small sticks, clubs, spears, the bow and arrow and large knives. They wanted to kill many animals for sport and fun. Some also claimed that they ate meat and wanted to eat the peaceful animals after roasting their flesh over a hot fire.
Meanwhile, the most gifted gorilla told all the monkeys and baboons who told everyone in the great forest….
“We need to do something about these subjects said to be human who come to take not only our land but our hides.”
“Gentleman Sam” the head of the clan continued to speak. He said….
“We must go into the chemistry laboratory and create or invent something that will help us sustain our lives.”
This was around the time of the 9th Century as the King Cobra Snake continues to narrate this story. Thus the effort to sustain life for the animals of the land resulted in the invention of something that was explosive.
King Cobra said….
“My friends and enemies who don’t have any guns this explosive device was called gun powder. It also changed the way we will be able to defend ourselves when man hunts for food.”
But “Gentle Sam” the mighty gorilla said….
“Instead of the subjects human hunting for meat in the forest why want they domesticate their own animals to eat? Will the subjects called humans raise some hogs, pigs, cows and chickens?”
“Wait a minute “Gentle Sam” said “King Cobra” do you mean this subject alleged to be human wants or has a desire to eat all if not most of the brethren in the field?”
“Yes, that is right “King Cobra” I know because I have seen him hunting, stalking and lurking like a hump back fool throughout the jungle and the forest.”
Then said all the monkeys and baboons….
“We hope to get out this hot sun and go to America.”
“But what happened, why are you leaving said the Gorilla “Gentle Sam?”
“Well the native subjects of this land are at peace and have always been this way. However, some people came from up north to try and take them away from the land. But they defeated them with short spears in close in fighting. These people were very mighty with the sword.
The aggressors were very insistent on raping the land and its people. So Mr. “King Cobra” before we left these shores we came up with the idea of the gun made to perform with a black powder we called gun powder. When the subjects human come into the jungle the great forest trying to take us from our homes and kill us we fired back at him with these flintlock guns and he fled.”
All the monkeys and baboons once more than once said….
“We had to keep up with the times so since we had this knowledge and expertise to think we continued to develop the gun. The gun we developed in the forest changed the way the subjects human would hunt for food. It also gave us an edge whenever we had the few wars with the human subjects. Although outnumbered we were held in a superior status because we had invented the gun.
In America we established a colony and began to till the land to sell mostly to the subjects called humans. Some of the poor who had been cast from the prisons across the great sea north from where we came worked the land for us. However, we paid them fair wages and made a pact to never make war on them as they had only metal weapons and no guns.
The land had been won by a great Revolution among the animals indigenous to the land and the invaders from across the great pond. We had been living in peace with the Native people. However, when the red and blue coats came they wanted everything. But they had no guns. Therefore we also worked some of them in our fields but we always paid them wages and treated them fair, although they were alleged to be human and could think.”
The Monkey and Baboon Nation joined forces with all of the animals in North, South and Central America. Thus throughout the Western Hemisphere there was a coalition and unified effort to protect all Snakes etc. from the subjects alleged to be humans. So as the nation began to take shape a Constitution was written with the 1st Amendment that first gives all the animals not lower of the field the right to Free Speech, growl, grunt, sing and cry out at any time. The 2nd Amendment came next and gives them all as the Monkeys and Baboons stood in the Red, Black, Green and Brown Big House the right to bear arms.
So every household in the intelligent animal kingdom had possession of several firearms. The subjects called humans had to be constantly kept under strict surveillance as they might take up the meager arms at their disposal or steal a few guns and cause a Riot or Revolt.
King Cobra now said….
“Monkey Nation and Baboon Kingdom where are you going with this story? Well first of all Snake we want you to know for certain that we have a constitutional right to speak on this subject. We all have Freedom of Speech even you. We also want to go on record to announce to the entire world and you and the rest of the Snakes who often make it hard for us Monkeys and Baboons that we all have the right by way of the Constitution we established to bear arms.
But before we look at the contemporary land-scape and the great Revolts by the subjects called humans to steal our guns we will take you back a bit and continue with a Monkey version of what our more intelligent friends in the animal kingdom called the historical development of guns and gun powder.
“Mr. Monkey See” said….
“I first had a rifle that you placed gun powder down the barrel to get it to fire. But since then I have carried the Coat revolver (invented by Bru Rabbit with the Brown Coat).”
“Mr. Monkey Do” said….
“Yes we are pleased to also have the single and double barrel shot gun the repeating carbine and the time when the subjects really tired to get out of hand we used the Cacklin Gun invented by a large goose or duck that came over from Russia.
The Eagle brought us the first automatic rifle named after a human subject who stole chickens named Winchester. No doubt Snake Cobra that the invention of gun powder by the rulers of the land paved the way for the creation of a device that would fire a bullet. The bullet is much more deadly than the spear, bow and arrow, knife or sword.
Once again brethren as I (as the King Cobra Snake) continue this story…
“I remind you of the fact that the Native people of the land were always at peace. Well who stands in opposition to creative and necessary development of technology as the animals of the land continue to grow develop and prosper? The subjects once known as humans stood by smiling but winking in secret when they put one or more hands up to their face.
Since the animals of the field never used their weapons that were never described as weapons of mass destruction to unnecessarily harm other animals or people they rested in things good. But all things good are not always good. The human subjects often stole guns or were sold guns by Snakes and then made short lived attempts of war and revolt against the rulers of the land.
“Mr. Monkey See” said….
“Let us look through the looking glass that is in my house to the time when our Nation would become even more advanced.
Yes “Monkey See”….
“Let me do my thing since I am “Mr. Monkey Do.” For example the telephone has made a transition to cell phones that also include multi-faceted information and various gadgetry for information, games, and communication. However, very few of us mis-use this technology except a few Snakes and whenever one falls into the calloused hands of the subjects described as humans.
But some of the Snakes and the Rebels called humans old and young have become obsessed with these devices and have no interest in real information but in fun games, pictures galore, texting and idle gossip. But the firearms for the animal kingdom have always had a vital purpose and use. These weapons were not invented to kill other animals nor the subjects called humans. But there has always been a historic conflict over land and water by subjects and the animals.
“Mr. Monkey See” said….
“King Cobra I know you are a good Snake. In fact you are one of our most honest Snakes. We also commend you for not being obsessed with greed and trade with the humans. But let me ask you this question? Did the firearms have an initial utility? Did greed regarding the land of other people pave the way for the invention and creation of the firearms? The land of the Monkeys and Baboons was invaded by the northern human subjects. They attempted to conquer, defeat and rape the land of its animals, other human subjects native to the land, resources and all the life that is not wild.
Although they came in great numbers we invented the gun and this is what chased them back to where they came from. However, a few settled among the native human subjects to work tending the fields of cotton especially that grown by the Natives in the South of the land of the Monkeys and Baboons.”
“Mr. Monkey Do” reports….
“Well King Cobra when the Monkey and Baboon Nation came to America we embraced our brethren here and the people native to the land. Once more than once they were at peace and we had no trouble. We never needed to bear arms against these human subjects. However, it was a different story among those from the small lands across the great sea that had very little resources or meat at home that came to our land.
For example we could have carried out a campaign of extinction of the people foreign to our land. But we did not. We tried to help them and allowed them to see our practice of love and compassion for all of the animal kingdom and for those foreign and indigenous to our land.
Therefore we don’t hunt for food with our guns. We eat from the fields we sow and what God has rendered due to his grace and mercy.”
Mr. Monkey See and Mr. Monkey Do” I am grateful for your comments and I have been listening closely to your dialog. But let me continue this story. No matter what we did in the animal kingdom the subjects called humans just got worse. We began to have full scale wars with these subjects.
Therefore we had no choice but to invent better weapons for warfare. All of the Monkeys, Baboons and Gorillas got together. Many of the big cats were there and all of the snakes that some of the subjects called deadly were also there. I heard the snakes and the deer of the forest say that previously we only had to defend our homes. Therefore in all instances we had been able to drive the subjects called humans from our homelands.
But they eventually got so bold that we had to launch attacks against them and defend some of our land as they made constant attacks upon our people. Therefore a big grizzly bear we called BK invented the Assault Rifle. BK also told us we needed an extended magazine for this weapon because we needed all the bullets we could get as the subjects called humans often would assault us for hours on end. “
Mr. Monkey See” said….
“I know this to be true King Cobra but what was the greatest challenge… is the quest to continue to invent weapons for our protection? For example the weapons stolen by the subjects called humans were used to kill humans and many members of the animal kingdom. For the record our people throughout the animal kingdom only used these weapons in cases when they were attacked or to defend our lands from the subjects called humans. “
BK the big grizzly had recently been elected as the head of the animal kingdom in North America. He also had great influence with our brethren throughout the world. He concluded that with the senseless killings by the subjects called humans there is a need to debar all assault weapons and the magazines that loaded these weapons.
So the Monkey and Baboon Nations all came together, they stopped producing any kind of Assault Rifles that could end up in the hands of the subjects called humans. “
“Mr. King Cobra the Snake” said….
“Allow me to conclude this discussion on something for your thought and mediation. Is this a world where there is a constant need for law-enforcement and a military to carry weapons to protect us from bandits, crooks and the evil of foreign aggression on foreign soil?
None of the Monkeys or Baboons used any weapons they had in aggression against their brethren. Only some lost Snakes and some of the subjects called humans who were careless about the life of animals and other subject’s human locked and loaded without love for Monkeys and Baboons.

The Parable Of The Weapon of Mass Destruction (7 January 2013)

I fell and was called to a conversation with John.
The children cried, screamed and hollered. The old
folk wept and the demon possessed trigger man laughed
as he had no tears.

One man found a time of insanity when he lost his job.
He did not have to go to a pawn shop or gun store. He
went home fetched his arsenal and tried to eliminate
everyone at his former workplace that winked at him.

Guns are called weapons in the military but they must
have some help to kill. A hammer strikes a nail but
does the hammer build the house. I saw many unused
tools rusting in decay in a tool box.

The guns the rifles the man O' war assault rifles rested
not used and in need of a good cleaning in a gun rack.
That shot-gun has never fired any buck shot by its
own power. What power?

That trigger finger never really controls the weapon.
A society sick in many ways especially Spiritual decay
has a certain attitude. The young and old have a
particular mind-set and heart failure.

Man, meanwhile lower than lower animals, kills for
fun. The hunter rich and wealthy, cherished his trophy
which was the head of big game. Mercy in the Lions
Den. They roamed in Large Land Rovers all through
the jungles of Africa.

The rape of “The Land of the Blacks” even included the
elephant, the great cheetah and tiger land as some roam and
wander all through the African Savanna, for ages at peace,
until gun powder came.

But some stayed at home to stalk the deer whose antlers
adorn many mantel-pieces. The corpses of innocent
babes rotted in the fields, the jungle and all
along the mountain side.

The Plains Indians still cry as the great Bison the
Buffalo would no longer roam as dead animals
rotted in the sun, scalped of their hide the skin
and fur that kept the Comanche warm during
the great winter’s of the open Plains.

We see thus many killers of men, women, children, boys
and little girls practice all day and night on a
gun range outdoors and indoors well into midnight.
The money barons the real gun-runners smiled as
the weapon of mass destruction came not cheap.

Nor did the bullets they let fly. The world thus
bears witness to a great obsession with killing
tools. While some come to hoard guns for protection
and others think that one day there will be a great
Revolt over the economics of racism.

John however had some answers. Banning all things
used unwisely is not really the answer as this will
never come to daylight or midnight. However, seeing
the heart Doctor who rendered His blood once and for all
will fix any problem.
