We need to bring this idiot home before he says something that will start WW lll. He has managed to insult every country that he has gone into. What is his problem? He is a sissy, uninformed and out of touch person who thinks becasue he has raped every company that he has touched that he should be president.

By: Ummm... on 7/31/12 at 5:32

Why won't Romney show his tax reutrns? His father sure did when he was running for president. What is Romney hiding?

(Off subject, but did anybody check out the end of yesterday's forum conversation? There is some stuff by someone named Jughead that makes even Yogi look sane.)

By: bfra on 7/31/12 at 5:51

Ummm - Somebody really needs to be totally insane to get lower than yogi, but I agree this Jughead is there. They picked a very appropriate user name.
Romney can't afford to show his tax returns, he is crooked as a snake.

By: dargent7 on 7/31/12 at 6:01

I always thought GW Bush was the anti-Christ protrayed in the Bible.
Then I thought the title went to Cheney. Maybe a "dual anti-Christ".
Now, Romney is provoking Israel to initiate a bombing campaign against Iran, stating, "you'll have our military support".
He's not even President yet, yet is making all these promises to foreign countries.
Only a Teapublican nut-job can consider Bush's war in Iraq "worthy, necessary, and just".
20 years dickin' around in the Middle East courtesy of Bush Sr., Jr. and if ellected, Romney.
Obama may be in over his head, but at least he's fairly honest and has a good one on his shoulders.

By: dargent7 on 7/31/12 at 6:08

Mittens and Lovey want the W.H. so bad, it's embarrassing.
They will do and say ANYTHING to obtain the keys.
Uncle Mitty needs Florida to win and I just hope and pray the jewish popuation can see thru him like the screen door he is.

By: Rasputin72 on 7/31/12 at 6:11

Romney will be trounced in November. However as far as anger, the comments made by DARGENT7......UMMM.......BFRA, appear to be far more insidious than anything I have heard from Mitt Romney

By: gdiafante on 7/31/12 at 6:16

The more I think about it, the more it looks like Romney will win in November. The decline of an empire is usually precipitated by several complete lunatics as leader. We've already had "W", so Romney fits the bill.

I guess the Republicans really only have three ways to run an economy: austerity, war and tax cuts for the wealthy. Although, you can't really have the first and the other two...but since when did anything they do make sense?

The director of the Academy Awards next year will need to include the middle class in the In Memorium section, right before Romney gets his award for best actor in a political drama.

By: Ummm... on 7/31/12 at 6:17

Rasputin, jokes don't make people angry- they make people laugh. And you, sir, are a joke.

By: bfra on 7/31/12 at 6:22

gdifante - I hope you are wrong about that win.

Ummm - You are right about Raspy, he is a joke & thinks everybody believes his bull.

By: Rasputin72 on 7/31/12 at 6:27

BFRA........If anyone believes my "bull" it is because they think differently than you!

By: gdiafante on 7/31/12 at 6:30

Like the Beatles, bfra, I got a feeling. I could be wrong, wouldn't be the first time, and it's really early, the debates could change everything.

To say American politics is devoid of leadership is like saying that the sun is bright. Regardless of political beliefs, I imagine people are scratching their head and asking, these are the two best choices?

By: dargent7 on 7/31/12 at 6:32

Whether Romney wins in Nov. or Obama, it will have little impact on my life.
Except psychologically.
But, I survived Vietnam and the LBJ and Nixon bulls***.
I got thru Reagan and his dementia and "Star Wars" visions.
I got thru three terms of the Bush(s) and their war+ two wars.
Jeb Bush has decided not to run which is a Godsend. He's probably win and the very thought of three Bush's in the W.H. is too much for even Charles Manson to take.
Obama winning was nothing short of a miracle. So, there IS hope.
All I'm hoping to stay alive for is to see Romey & Co. loose and humiliated.
That faux wife of his makes me want to puke.

By: gdiafante on 7/31/12 at 6:50

A likely scenario is that Romney wins and the Dems win back Congress. That would mean the status quo once again prevails. Get ready for more partisanship bickering, filibusters and general malaise. It's the new American Way.

Or, Obama wins and Congress stays the same, which means the status quo...

Or, Romney wins, and gets a GOP Congress, the middle class is obliterated and he sends the lower class off to fight Iran. You'll know it's his presidency when they officially change our name to the Aristocratic States of America.

Or, Obama wins and gets a Democrat Congress. The wealthy take their ball and go home (to an offshore account) like pouting children. They come back when they realize that the neighbors house is even worse than theirs.

But it doesn't really matter because our economy is being held hostage by Europe. In a brilliant stroke of leadership (and, per yogi, in accordance with his ascendancy to the world throne) Obama insists that the Euro experiment is a disaster and sends Luca Brazi to the old world with a gift...

By: Ummm... on 7/31/12 at 6:55

gd, you are just a little ray of sunshine this morning! :-(

By: parnell3rd on 7/31/12 at 7:08

Good morning Nashville! I see the radical liberal racist democrat's caged has been kicked this morning and most are foaming at the mouth mad for some unimportant reason. When there man can not run on his failures they attack others.
Yall have a great week! GOD bless you all!
Supreme Court Justice Scalia's comments over the weekend will keep me busy for a while.

By: gdiafante on 7/31/12 at 7:16

Thank you for those kind words, parnell, and may God bless your grammatical skills (or lack thereof).

By: dargent7 on 7/31/12 at 7:34

Romney is personally guaranteeing a war with Iran if elected. What possible demented moron thinks that's the way to go? You need American invading 3 Mid-East countries to get a glimmer of reality?
Bachmann guaranteed $2.00 a gallon gas.
Teapublicans will extort, bribe, money launder, racketeer, jury tamper, influence pedal...anything to gain office.
...and The GodFather was on last night. (gD's reference)
It's "Mob Week".
At least with the mafia as compared to the Republicans, you meet a better class of people.

By: yogiman on 7/31/12 at 7:46

What makes you so sure your man Obama won't start a war with Iran, dargent7? Because he might say he won't?

By what authority did he attack Libya? He never bothered to get Congress' approval and Libya had not attacked us. so why did he attack them?

Every incident our military has been involved in since he's been in office has gone through the UN, not the US Senate.

By: yogiman on 7/31/12 at 7:50

Ummm,

You constantly question Romney about his tax returns but I never read your postings about any of Obama's papers. Any reason why Obama shouldn't make an attempt to prove he's legally eligible for the job?

Could it be because he isn't and can't?

By: gdiafante on 7/31/12 at 7:52
By: gdiafante on 7/31/12 at 7:53

Bachmann can't be held responsible for the gas comment, darge, she's too busy creating a blacklist.

By: Captain Nemo on 7/31/12 at 8:10

It is no big deal; it is just another Romney foot in the mouth moment.

By: Ummm... on 7/31/12 at 8:24

Romney would release his tax returns, just as every other viable presidential candidate has done (including our duly elected current president), if he didn't have something to hide. Of course, those who harbor irrational hatred for Obama don't care what crooked schemes Romney has engaged in- at least he's white.

By: bfra on 7/31/12 at 8:25

WARSAW, Poland - A Mitt Romney spokesman reprimanded reporters traveling with the candidate on his six-day foreign trip, telling them to "kiss my a**" after they shouted questions from behind a rope line.

By: yogiman on 7/31/12 at 8:26

I think you Obama fans should check out www.iowntheworld.com/blog/?p=143445 and listen to that young woman; then let me know what you think.

By: BenDover on 7/31/12 at 8:26

Obama's been running the country like a teenager with her daddy's credit card for the last three and a half years and you guys want to play the boogie man card on Romney?

Astounding.

This is true; some people are not insane and not as arrogant as the silly monk.

The new four letter word is Yogi.

Go Yogi yourself, yogi. Shut the Yogi up,yogi.

By: bfra on 7/31/12 at 8:33

Nemo - Shouldn't that monk have an ey on the end?

By: bfra on 7/31/12 at 8:35

What Romney's spokesman said is basicly what Romney is saying to the American people, by his actions.

By: BenDover on 7/31/12 at 8:38

I wouldn't mind the media being so overtly critical of Romney if they would give Obama a little equal time.

By: bfra on 7/31/12 at 8:38

On the way to Center Hill this past weekend, I took a detour by Brush Creek gun shop, that yogi said mention him and get a good deal. Ha! They acted like they never heard of him. Can't say that I blame them.

By: yogiman on 7/31/12 at 8:40

Ummm,

Romney's tax returns only shows his income. It doesn't show how he screwed you to get it.

But why do you think it's okay that Barry doesn't show any of his papers? You know, like a certified birth certificate, a SSN that's accepted by e-verify and a legitimate registration form. Hell, maybe even his college papers (like his application/registration papers). Hell, why not even show is papers when he was in the Illinois and National Senates?

Aren't all of them legal papers that would get the wonderers off his back?

By: bfra on 7/31/12 at 8:40

Ben that could be because Obama isn't making as many stupid arrogant blunders as Romney.

By: Rasputin72 on 7/31/12 at 8:41

Captain Nemo.........Arrogance I will accept. However I have never known anyone that is insane to accurately accuse another person of insanity.

Just for the record,Captain I would like to call it to your attention that there are a lot of people (not a majority) who provide you with the over 70% of things you get for free. My guess is that every single one of them would be called insane by you.

Now if you had said in your comments, I disagree with everything that Rasputin72 stands for and I hope his bowels lock wide open then that would have been a comment that had a more sophisticated bent. I try to help you with the art of debate but I continually keep running into your culture. Lord knows I try!

By: gdiafante on 7/31/12 at 8:41

Ben, Obama has essentially been Bush III. He's been center-right on most issues. And, Congress spends the money, the President only requests it, so spare us the credit card analogy.

By: bfra on 7/31/12 at 8:43

Nemo - Raspy is slipping & showing his true colors.

By: yogiman on 7/31/12 at 8:45

Damn, bfra (bad farts repeated again) you're lying worse than Obama. Tell me, what was that man's name. And where was his shop in Brush Creek?

By: BenDover on 7/31/12 at 8:45

4 trillion over the earlier trend line in deficit spending plus blowing a half trillion in TARP repayments doesn't count as a stupid arrogant blunder?

By: gdiafante on 7/31/12 at 8:46

And regarding gaffes, Ben must've missed all the media attention surrounding the "you didn't create that" or "the private sector is doing fine" or the Bain attacks...

Ben, you're better than this.

By: Rasputin72 on 7/31/12 at 8:46

Bfra......You are exactly right! My true colors are GREEN & HEALTHY.

By: bfra on 7/31/12 at 8:47

No yogi, just another of your lies, you might go there, but they sure don't want to admit they know you.

By: BenDover on 7/31/12 at 8:50

You seem to forget the axis powers who launched us on this spending path, gd. It was a little instant Karma of Pelosi, Reid and Obama at the helm back when they had the glorious Democrat syzygy in '09 and '10.

By: Captain Nemo on 7/31/12 at 8:52

LOL bfra.

By: yogiman on 7/31/12 at 8:52

Hang in there, Rasputin72. You can try harder but I don't believe you're going to have any success. It takes a little bit of intelligence to learn and Capt. Nemo doesn't seem to have any.

Actually, I think he should be identified as Private Nemo but he felt ashamed of his ignorance and personally promoted himself to Captain.

By: gdiafante on 7/31/12 at 8:53

Someone get Ben a pacifier...my four year old whines less...

Of course it was those evil Democrats, Ben...lol

By: bfra on 7/31/12 at 8:55

Nemo - In fact, they looked kinda funny at the mention of his name. Guess they don't want anyone to think they are as crazy as he is.
