Up for Debate: Sheriff Hall's frustration

Thursday, June 14, 2012 at 12:50am

At a Wednesday budget hearing, Sheriff Daron Hall expressed his concern and frustration over what he sees as a pattern of budget reductions for his office, stating that a full commitment to public safety requires better funding for the sheriff's office too. Do you agree with Hall's points? Do you think he waited too long to raise concerns? Or is he using the hearing for political posturing?

Cap'n:
Omit your apostrophe while you're at it. No need for additional boo-boos (get it?).

I neglected to mention the people who died while in the custody of DCSO. I wonder what Michael Minick's survivors will settle for, not that it's unwarranted.

Without knowing all of the facts in the Minick case & the local new media is a poor source of getting ALL of the facts, I can't say a settlement is warrantedl.

Do you mean the one before or after the "r", bfra?
