What do you think should happen in Egypt regarding the current standoff between President Morsi (Morsy) and the country's military? Should Morsi call elections? Should the military back down?
I think the people of Egypt are not familiar how democracy works and are still trying to understand its mechanism. On the other hand, President Morsy seems to acting as a religious dictator and the people are in revolt.
Separation of Religion and State is a must.

There's (sic) two sides to every fence, Kosh III. It just depends on which side is in office as the way things are handled.
We get more clichés from the imbecile.
I see that the Government Waste got back from her vacation last night. Starts a new job and goes on vacation a mouth later. LOL
Because of this unrest, there is more unrest in the oil prices and the cost of fuel is going up.
You also have two sides to your a$$, dumba$$. I reckon that makes your a$$ equal to a fence, eh?
Slip sliding in your drool so early, yogi?
Egypt's president is a known member of the Muslim Brotherhood who believes in the Islam faith.
Apparently the Egyptian people do not want a member of Muslim Brotherhood as their leader because if his Islam faith in ruling them..
I understand the way he is "running" the nation isn't how he said he would run it during the campaign.
yogi, the brainless blob tries to act like he knows something! LMAO
Have you noticed how yogi manages to double talk? LOL
Egypt's president is a known member of the Muslim Brotherhood who believes in the Islam faith. (Of course he believes in Islam. That is what Muslims believe in.)
Apparently the Egyptian people do not want a member of Muslim Brotherhood as their leader because if his Islam faith in ruling them.. (What little you understand. They are rebelling because he is being a dictator, not because of his faith. If you would give it any thought, you would realize the people rebelling or Muslims.)
bfra, you are correct about yogi, acting smart. His repeating himself over and over in the same sentence which highlights his little knowledge of the outside world.
Now he will say something in the order of…I wish you would be educated, because I can’t understand a word you is saying
It's pretty obvious I know a helluva lot more than you, bfra. I know the man you see as "your President" is in that office illegally.
So, I'm lying? Prove me wrong. It should be easy if you have any facts.
Gee, I am so jealous of you, bfra. I have made 4 post toward yogi and you only one. Yet he comes down so hard on you. lol
Maybe you should have lunch with him.
yogi has to depend on his biggest LIE to try to convince anyone he knows something. Sorry yogi depending on LIES doesn't prove anything.
Well, bfra, was you referring dumba$$'s as a brainless blob or did you miss phrase your 6:23 post? But that's OK, I know it's too early to get your feeble brain working so early.
yogi, learn to read!
Nemo - My stomach isn't that strong.
Boo who, he still goes for you bfra and not me. ;-)
I guess you're different, bfra,
You feel free to call someone a liar without bothering to offer any proof they're lying. Do the other posters on this site actually think you're so intelligent you don't have to ever prove you know what you're "talking" about when you call someone a Liar? Just post; You're a liar, and they're liars because you said so.
Damn, I wish I was as smart as you think you are. And that, dear lady (as I use the term loosely), is not a lie.
Ethically, we live in a ladies first society so I have to give it to bfra first considering her as a lady because she's a female; even though she's obviously not a lady.
You are a liar yogi.
Read your 6:23 post, bfra. Did you put the commas in the right place(s)? I read it as you committing to me about dumba$$ being such a dumba$$.
Are you equating your ignorance to bfra, dumba$$ that you feel free to call me a liar without offering any proof? Could that be because you don't have any proof? Me thinks so. You must feel compelled to prove your idiocy.
I must say, you're very successful on that matter.
Ethically…that is a laugh yogi. You have none or know, if you had any you would not be calling her a dumbass.
There you go again yogi, lying. Prove me wrong.
A few facts about Egypt's new President and the elections in general that you might not know:
•He is a president elect and not the president. And he still reports to The Supreme Council of Armed Forces (SCAF). In 9 months, SCAF could decide to have a new presidential elections.
•SCAF holds all the keys atm, and will oversee writing the constitution, this probably means they will never become an Islamic state.
•The middle class are not for the Muslim Brother (regardless of their religion), they don't want an Islamic state
•The liberals obviously don't want the MB either, neither do the Christians of Egypt (around 10% of the population)
•It's people who live below poverty lines that voted MB. They are usually uneducated and restore to religion as their savior (MB is a religious group).
The Muslim Brotherhood (MB) is a radical sect of Islam that even kills other Muslim sects.
Morning Blanket and thank you for the post.
I've got to be going soon, so I wish you all and that includes you too yogi, a Happy 4th.
Everybody should just ignore yogi's comments. He has already proved, like everday, that he doesn't have the mental capacity to comprehend anything.
Egypt's judges claim Brotherhood group is illegal, recommend dissolution
Basically, Egypt is being hijacked by a radical Muslim sect which more moderate Muslims do not want and neither do the liberals and Christians which make up the minority of the population. The MB was did not register as a group and the courts order them to dissolve which they did not. Now Morsi, who is a member of the MB, is the president elect which is what is causing the unrest.
You too, Nemo! Be safe.
Nemo - Have a great 4th & try to stay dry.
Thank you, dumba$$.
I have a happy 4th every year simply by still being alive and remembering what this great nation is all about. My biggest problem this year is it's scaring the hell out of my 83rd birthday.
Thanks Blanket for the info.. IMO the entire World would be better off with NO Muslims.
Thank you all, but I don't think Comrade yogi means it.
So you are scaring the hell out of your birthday are yogi. You are a scary man, with no brains.
I'll check back later if I can.
One thing I comprehend, bfra, which you obviously don't, is the usurper in office is not constitutionally eligible for that office.
One more point for Obama fans like you, bfra: If the House passes that amnesty bill Barry is rooting for, you can kiss the USA you grew up in goodbye.
Bye the way; did you see the statements Senators Corker and Alexander made before they voted for that immigration bill (S 744) in the Senate? It makes me wonder what changed their minds to vote for the bill after making the statements against it as they did..
Unlike you, dumba$$,
If I didn't mean it, I wouldn't post it. You can just ignore it if you wish.
Nemo - Like everything else yogi posts, it is nothing but a LIE!
yogi - you can kiss the USA you grew up in goodbye.
Anybody want to guess how many times this LIE has been posted over the past 4 1/2 years?
Reagan passed an Amnesty Bill when he was in office - the main reason it didn't work was the businesses started using illegal labor as "independent contractors" instead of using them as hired employees. They found a loophole. The new Immigration bill streamlines the process which is well overdue and allows people who were brought here as small children and have no ties to other countries to gain citizenship. No, it's not the end of the world.....
And Reagan apologized many times for that mistake, B2. But he was talked into it politically. I believe there was only 3 or 4 million mentioned back then and we've been gaining more ever since.
How do they know it's only 11 million now? How do they know which ones are outright criminals other than being here illegally? And when giving that amnesty before citizenship, how many of their "families" will be allowed to [come on to the good ole USA] to join their families that are already here illegally before the door was officially opened for them?
By the way, B2,
Did you read what Alexander and Corker said before they voted for that S 744 bill? It really doesn't make me wonder why they voted for it, but it does make me wonder why a [devout] Republican would vote for it.
yogi, you should go back and read the details of the bill. You would be able to answer your own questions of your 8:47 post.
By the way, Ed Meese said that Reagan regretted it - and he said it after Reagan died. There is no account of Reagan actually saying he regretted it.
Peter Robinson, a former Reagan speechwriter, agrees. "It was in Ronald Reagan's bones — it was part of his understanding of America — that the country was fundamentally open to those who wanted to join us here." Reagan said as much himself in a televised debate with Democratic presidential nominee Walter Mondale in 1984. "I believe in the idea of amnesty for those who have put down roots and lived here, even though sometime back they may have entered illegally," he said.
See, that's what happens when you go by hearsay instead of actual facts.
Allowing people to break the law and disregard the rules is disrespectful to the hundreds of thousands of people who came here legally, stood in line and paid their dues to become American citizens.
People who came here legally were vetted; had to have criminal background checks and health checks. Those types of procedures are to protect everyone. Why is it that just because someone has "laid down roots" illegally, they get a pass?
Reagan was wrong to sign those people into amnesty. And it's still wrong. It is rewarding illegal, bad behavior.
While in South Carolina on vacation, we ran across no one who DID NOT SPEAK English. Either people there are legal and speak English or we were just lucky. The beach was awesome. And my vacation was planned well before I took a new job bfra. And you are sort of showing your true colors: Why don't you want Muslims? Maybe because they can be . . . . uh . . . well . . . sort of make you uncomfortable?
: bfra on 7/3/13 at 7:38
Thanks Blanket for the info.. IMO the entire World would be better off with NO Muslims.
bud, it might not be what some people consider "fair" but it is what it is. We can't afford to round everyone up and deport them - it's not feasible. Also, it's not fair to the kids who were brought here at a young age and have no ties to their parents' countries. The bill stipulates that they would have to have a high school education or a GED and no criminal record. It's not exactly opening the door for everybody - there are stipulations. And they have to pay a fine.
Poor ole bud, showing her ignorance again. I could care less when, where or if you ever have a vacation.
Blanket - I do wonder about the ones, even if brought here illegally as young children, that are old enough now to be out of school & have made no effort to become a legal citizen. It kinda goes against wanting to be here to better themselves & because they love this Country so much.
