Clean out the cabinet

The attacks on Nancy Pelosi by the Republicans trying to make an issue of statements she made saying that the CIA did not inform her of details of water boarding and other methods of so-called enhanced interrogation being used to illicit information from detainees is nothing but a diversionary tactic to shift attention away from the everyday unfolding events of the crimes of the Bush administration.

To this point it looks like Donald Rumsfeld, Dick Cheney, Paul Wolfowitz, Condoleezza Rice, Alberto Gonzales and maybe even Colin Powell, were all complicit in secret and un-American and illegal activities.

Some Republicans are demanding Pelosi resign, accusing her of lying to the CIA which cannot be proved. One thing we do know is that the CIA has lied to Congress in the past regarding WMDs, Yellow cake, etc. In the face of this, I will accept what Pelosi says and not the CIA unless they can document it.

I might also note that Republicans have a history of playing the game of diversionary tactics when the water gets hot for them, but the difference now is that the electorate has had eight years of nothing but lies and criminal activity from them and are not quite as gullible as they used to be.

It seems that the more that is divulged, the more it looks that the whole Bush cabinet were liars and criminals and should be prosecuted.

Blanket, I thought you was talking about both of us.

nazi, they turned down Nike, they couldn't deliver on intergalactic travel.

By: chiefpayne568 on 6/2/09 at 2:09

Blanket is apparently talking about anyone who can become such a fanatic that they could excuse their own illegal or illogical actions in order to follow their fanatic beliefs.

By: Blanketnazi2 on 6/2/09 at 2:10

i was speaking in general, nemo.

By: Captain Nemo on 6/2/09 at 2:10

Ohhhhh... you mean like the right-wing nut-bag that shot Tiller this past Sunday?

By: Captain Nemo on 6/2/09 at 2:24

Aginst Stupidity, the Gods Themselves Contend in Vain. -Fridrich Schiller's play Jungfrau.

By: Blanketnazi2 on 6/2/09 at 2:25

yes, brrrrk. that's one good example.

By: Dragon on 6/2/09 at 2:27

The White House was quick to issue a Presidential statement condeming Tiller's murder. So far, nothing about the murder of the soldier in front of the recruiting station. Muslim nutbags get a pass.

By: Captain Nemo on 6/2/09 at 2:29

Tiller must of had some bad programming.

By: house_of_pain on 6/2/09 at 2:34

Just old "Sesame Street" reruns, Nemo.

By: Blanketnazi2 on 6/2/09 at 2:37

Dragon, the soldier's murderer is being called a terrorist. Tiller's murderer should also be referred to as a terrorist.

By: house_of_pain on 6/2/09 at 2:38

He was just trying to prove how sacred life is.

By: chiefpayne568 on 6/2/09 at 2:46

brrrrk,

"Ohhhhh... you mean like the right-wing nut-bag that shot Tiller this past Sunday?"

Or the Islamic convert lunatic who shot two soldiers, yes.

By: chiefpayne568 on 6/2/09 at 2:47

Blanket,

Yes and the soldier's murderer should have been repuditated by the President as a fringe lunatic like the murderer of Tiller was.

By: chiefpayne568 on 6/2/09 at 2:49

House,

No, he was trying to prove how religious he was...and instead he proved just the opposite...and is condemned by almost all those on the Pro-Life side, with the exception of the few radical, idiotic movements around.

Now, how many Islamic groups have condemned the criminal who shot the soldiers? I haven't seen any myself. Of course it is early yet.

By: Captain Nemo on 6/2/09 at 2:54

A terrorist is a terrorist. It does not matter if they are Muslim or Christian.

By: Captain Nemo on 6/2/09 at 2:56

chief, I thought it was funny that you thought Blanket was talking about me earlier.

By: slacker on 6/2/09 at 3:05

I think I'll go dig up some beer.

By: brrrrk on 6/2/09 at 3:06

"Between 1977 and 2000, there were 7 murders, 17 attempted murders, 115 assaults, and 3 kidnappings of those working in abortion clinics."

plus Eric Rudolph, Timothy McVeigh, Jim D. Adkisson, and Timothy Dale Johnson.

And one domestic Muslim attack pretty much evens it up.....

What a bunch of racists and fruitcake nutballs. I suspect that the more vitriol that is thrown by the conservatives, the more potent they feel. Pathetic.

Yeah, they condemned him alright.... just like KFC condemns Perdue...

As Frank Schaeffer, the noted former evangelical who was heavily involved in the pro-life movement said, "They (pro-life groups) condemned the shooter publicly, but privately opened champagne bottles and toasted to Tillers death"

Hey IDIOTS: "Dooley" at least can write a LTE that gets published. You fools masterbate each other since 6:00am and think you're onto something. News alert! You're dead in the water. Re-read the excrement you've "posted" since dawn. Re-read yesterday's. Re-read last week's. Re-read last month's....pick any day. Same sh***t. Get a job, people, you've got way too much time on your (idle) hands.

Just another good Christian deed.
