What’s all this uproar about the incumbent President of Iran winning yesterday's nation election? Who’s complaining? [Apparently] no other than the world's police — the US of A.
Claims of voter fraud, miscounted votes, polling stations closing early, mass confusion — basically, [Mahmoud] Ahmadinejad “stole the election.” Hmm, sounds eerily similar to what happened in the USA in 2000.
Misunderstood butterfly ballots, hanging chads, uncounted overseas votes, absentee ballots misplaced, a governor who happened to be G.W. Bush's brother, an Attorney General, Katherine Harris, who was a staunch Republican, and a U.S. Supreme Court weighed heavily toward the Republican base.
Al Gore receives a 500,000-vote majority in the general, but loses Florida and the election due to an archaic and outdated Electoral College System. Added up, was there any way the Bush would lose?
And, the U.S. decries Iran's election results? We should keep our hypocritical yaps shut!
