‘Sick bill’ needs a cure
We do need legislation to change the health insurance paradigm. We need for patients to be more responsible for paying their doctors and more responsible for their own health. We need to assume that adults are intelligent and can make wise decisions for themselves.
None of these things are in the Democrats’ bill. The more I read about this legislation, with page references and the document available for confirmation, the more I see this as a benevolent tyrant’s dream come true.
The frenzy by Democrats and President Obama to pass "health care reform" would otherwise be curious if not for the intention to keep the details fuzzy. From the Solons who brought us the $400 hammer, freezers full of cash and the GM bailout, I cannot see the wisdom in handing over total control of the "public welfare" to them.
While Medicare is currently successful, Medicaid has been a black hole. Handing supervision of my healthcare to CMS — the anonymous bureaucracy with absolute authority and more regard for rules than people — is madness.
The Democrats' "health care reform" is a sick bill. That's why there are angry citizens speaking out. Begin again with an open and honest discussion of the failings of both private sector and public sector healthcare. The Democrats' owe that to all Americans. After all, they control Congress and the White House.

I'm done for the day, but I'll be back some other time.
Poof! I'm gone.
So now you equate killing women and children to spraying insects and spiders with Raid?
Straight jacket for one, please
Is there anywhere that I can buy one of those "Poofer" things? There's a few on this board that I'd like to get rid of at will...
I think the "Poofer" thing is listed under Retro Abortion in Obama's health care plan, pg. 1,678.
Whatever works is all that matters... LOL
i don't think that Blue Cross Blue Shield covers it, though.
Well I have this to say about that...omg I've been poofed
You'd think that slackerdamus would have seen that coming...
gd.... LMAO!!!
I leave for a little bit, and the place fills up with poof-ters.
brrrrk, you could have a new career as The Poofer.
Now a Poofer is not to be confused with a Fluffer.
Chief: I was on vacation today...and this "Sex Education" fiasco with you converted Catholics is way above my pay grade...
For the 100th time...ask any girl, age 11 thru 19, and ask if they ever gave "oral sex" to a boy/ man...ask again if they consider themselves virgins...the answer is 95% do consider themselves virgins.
So, President Clinton, getting "head" did not compromise his marriage. Fondling Monica, diddling her w/ a cigar did not compromise his marriage vows.
If you jar heads want to live in a narrow definition of life, be my guest. (and rationalize killing non-combantant "insurgents") .
But, get with the program. People do not live within your narrow corridor of military life. The broadband is you're all myopic and can only do and see what you're told to do and see.
Pathetic.
oooohhhh, myopic. i'll have to use that one later.
Have you done 'opaque', yet?
nope, not yet!
You know what they say...once you go opaque...
HA! i'd say that's a true statement, house.
Hey, where'd everybody...*POOF*
Man faces charges for allegedly stabbing drinking buddy
House? Gdia? Was this you two???
slackerdamus was myopic? wha????
Well I'll see you all tomor.... *POOF*
D-7 wrong again: Any normal married man in America lies about an affair. Normal married men in America are faithful. Says a lot about your character. And loner, you memory is quite off balance. All true Americans will always remember Pearl Harbor as will all true Japanese remember Hiroshima and Nagasaki. It's just logical that they would. It was a horrific event for both countries -- started I might add, by the bombing of Pearl Harbor.
