A joking matter

Seems that Sarah Palin respects Glenn Beck so much that she has hinted at a Palin/Beck 2012 presidential run. Oh God, how I hope so.

As fragmented and divided as the Republican Party is now, it's an extreme possibility .

When I heard this I became hysterical with laughter and thought if she really wants to be successful she could round out a sure-to-win ticket by appointing Rush Limbaugh as her secretary of state and Bernie Maddoff as her Secretary of the Treasury, along with Lou Dobbs as Press Secretary.

It would be a disaster, but a laugh a minute.

our time together, though brief, will always be special to me.
Also, you should probably get tested...

That's interesting. Especially since 36% of the entire US population is Catholic. I wonder how many are in for sex crimes?

When I look at the political polls today, and see what is happing in the White House, and on Capitol Hill, I often wonder as to why anyone can support the political ideals which are leading our nation “down-the-tube” for or next’s generations on fiscal and social issues. So many is the younger generation fail to have witnessed the fruitful results of a working person, as the younger ones have been “given” their needs, their wants, their desires, with little or no personal efforts.

The freedoms “given” to all of us by our founding fathers in our US Constitution had to be “God” inspired. Just as the Holy Bible, it is all about “truths” of yesterday, today, and tomorrow. We must work mentally, physically, and spiritually to keep it; not to allow it to be destroyed.

In a now free society, Americans have choices of opportunities to grow financially,
socially, morally, etc.

As America’s elected Democrat Party officials, made up of a majority of radical left- wing politicos, and moving our system of government closer to Socialism, and as our government has the authority to take all, you will then see the government chooses to give only as it chooses. You will see only two (2) classes of, people in our society; the wealthy and the poor. There will be no middle class. Unfortunately, and then too late, the younger generations will understand, as very, very few will be in the wealthy class as the rulers of tomorrow. The rulers will make the law, while the massive numbers of left peasants will suffer.

God Bless America!

Excuse me prof. Oscar Y. Harward; where was your outrage and blistering "comments" when GW Bush & Co. invaded Iraq? You throw around phrases like "God inspired" and "Holy Bible" and "truths". Bush & Cheney knowing LIED to the American people. And, only now, are you dense, blind, and deaf citizens of the USA waking up to what 8 years of "Bush" did to America!
You cannot even do the math on how many by Bush's decision to attack Iraq has killed the Iraqi populace. And he "walked with the Lord", "talked to Jesus", "was on a mission from the Almighty".
Take your Bible, ideology, thoughts, and stake out Sarah Palin's book tour.

Federal Judge essentially declares DOMA unconstitutional.

"A federal judge today ordered compensation for a Los Angeles couple denied spousal benefits by the federal government because they are gay men.

Reinhardt, who is the federal judge responsible for resolving employee disputes in the Federal Public Defenders office within the 9th Circuit, had earlier ordered the Administrative Office of the U.S. Courts to process Levenson's application for spousal benefits for Sears. The federal government's Office of Personnel Management stepped in to derail the enrollment, however, citing the 1996 Defense of Marriage Act that prohibits the recognition of same-sex marriage for the purpose of federal benefits or programs."

Chief: Get used to Democratic rule. From the White House down. Whether the GOP props up Newty, Rudy, Mitty, Sara, Hucky, or Cheney, they will lose.
Then what will you say? Say it now and be on the record. Get it out of the way.
Save us all the links, posts, comments, and religious verses.

If anyone is interested, here is the CBO's evaluation of the Senate version of healthcare.

The CBO Analysis Of Harry Reid's Healthcare Bill

http://tinyurl.com/yb3sdxk

"CBO and JCT have determined that the legislation contains several intergovernmental and private-sector mandates as defined in the Unfunded Mandates Reform Act (UMRA). The total cost of those mandates to state, local, and tribal governments and the private sector would greatly exceed the thresholds established in UMRA ($69 million and $139 million, respectively, in 2009, adjusted annually for inflation)."

By: Dragon on 11/19/09 at 10:23

Chief, don't forget that Reid's bill dropped the "Doc Fix", which would add another $245 Billion.

And, when the say that it will "save" $127 billion over 10 years, they are really saying that they will collect $127 billion in taxes beyond what is needed. I guess in governmentspeak, overtaxing - savinings.

By: chiefpayne568 on 11/19/09 at 10:35

Nemo,

And yet, Bush WON the presidency did he not? So maybe Palin will too. LOL

By: CAH on 11/19/09 at 10:45

Blanket and Mama. I have never claimed to be a Christian, much less a "Good" one.

Yes, I read the verses following #8 but I didn't include them because they didn't reflect my feelings. Only 8 did. That you attributed 9 & 10 to reflect my beliefs is just plain stupid.

Now, you think I'm being narrow-minded and "sinful" by posting something against Bobo but that just shows how shallow you are.

I thought better of both of you. I was wrong.

By: gdiafante on 11/19/09 at 10:46

Well they certainly have one thing in common, they aren't the sharpest knives in the drawer...

By: gdiafante on 11/19/09 at 10:47

Bush and Palin that is...

By: Captain Nemo on 11/19/09 at 10:50

Great comeback it took you long enough for this weak reply.

By: Blanketnazi2 on 11/19/09 at 10:51

CAH, what a shame. you'd make a good Christian considering how well you like to pick and choose your verses.

By: Captain Nemo on 11/19/09 at 10:51

I thought you was talking about chief and Dragon, gdia.

By: Blanketnazi2 on 11/19/09 at 10:52

And you refer to me and Mama as shallow right after you refer to the president as Bobo? wow.....lol!

By: gdiafante on 11/19/09 at 10:52

CAH tries his best imitation of Peter...but I haven't heard the cock crow yet...

"Bobo", pretty much speaks for itself. Just another bitter right-winger. Yawn.

By: chiefpayne568 on 11/19/09 at 10:53

Gdia,

I bet you said the same about Bush and Cheney...yet they did win the Presidency...twice.

By: CAH on 11/19/09 at 10:54

If I were to be labeled anything, it would be a Centrist. I certainly don't have wings; either right or left.

By: gdiafante on 11/19/09 at 10:56

Wrong again Chief. Cheney is smart...diabolical in ways, scheming and very intelligent. He would never be confused with Bush or Palin.
