All groups can lobby their own bill

All those who are complaining about our legislature's passage of a bill allowing a "Choose Life" license plate should realize a few things.

First, any group can lobby a bill to express its viewpoint. Last time I checked, this happens on a daily basis at the Legislative Plaza. The abortion rights groups didn't have a bill; that was their choice. They can go back next year and try to pass a license plate for their viewpoint.

Second, contrary to the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU), life is not a "religious" issue.
