I think the better tactic would be for [Karl] Dean to lay out all the reasons why keeping the fairgrounds is a bad idea. It's not like he has any opposition to deal with. [He should] just use the time to campaign against something he believes in.

Good morning

BigPapa has a good point about Dean clarifying his reason about the Fairgrounds. However there is not a sure thing in politics until it becomes law, so keeping his hand close to his vest may prove the wises choice.

You can bet "His Lordship" will lovingly tell any who ask that "it's up
to the people to decide" until the election is over or until he and
Squire Barrett can get the DA or Courts to void the referendum on the
issue!

Turn the Fairgrounds into a duct tape museum.

This report was smuggled out of Area 51. It has to do with an alien invasion plan of the United States of America and the ultimate conquest of the world. This plan seems goes back as far as the late 1700.

It has to do with genetic manipulation of a certain gene pool of people living in mostly rural areas of the USA in the 1700 on up to present day. The test subjects have been people ranging form leaders of locale, state government and even the National government, as well the financial community. By infiltrating these two affluent forces, they have managed to control and weaken the American sprite and economy. These manipulations of the gene pool have leaded the USA in a directing toward unnecessary wars (Civil war and Iraq war) and the Stock Market Crash of 1929. All of which is causing at the present a very dangerous situation to the country.

There now seems to be a new direction of this plan, regarding a secondary group of none important citizens. This is a sleeper cell of seeming of boring people that have a grand illusion of their importance in the scheme in life and is now unwitting laying plans of another civil war. This subculture has now been moved to the top of Area 51 concerns. It is call the yogiman Report.

The yogiman subject is easily manipulated into illogic and unintelligent thought patterns. For example; A Crow calls from a near by tree. This fact enters the yogiman head by sound or sight and begins a short and precarious voyage of irrational thought transformation.

The sound of the Crow enters the ear and through a series electric misconnection of the subject’s half brain it travels in a meandering and hallucinating journey. The sound of the Crow then turns toward a memory of the closet, (the closet represent a form of punishment from the subject’s child hood) then the thought of the “good old days” and the way he thinks life should be, become an Eagle, representing America.

His genetically altered mind may recycle this many times before it comes to the wrong conclusion about any subject matter. By his recycling the though of the Crow symbol yogi has created a dramatically change of reality into an outrageous display of fanatical rants and his inability to connect the dots or add 2 and 2, cause him to think (we use the word think loosely) and to see things that are not there.

At then end of a recycling event yogiman concluded that the Crow as a foreign bird and not an American bird. The Eagle as being American bird and yoigman has now skipped to the conclusion that the Crow has become President Obama and the Eagle has become that Obama is in the White House illegally.

End of report.

uh oh, we're starting in on the duct tape, Nemo! lol

By: Captain Nemo on 6/8/11 at 6:23

Damn, house. lol

By: Blanketnazi2 on 6/8/11 at 6:24

excellent research and reporting, Nemo. kudos.

He will just deny it and bud will call me a menace to the universe.

There will come a time…..house, you know what I mean. ;-)

By: yogiman on 6/8/11 at 6:49

Damn dumba..,

Who wrote that "report" for you? I know it couldn't have been you because you don't have brain enough to spell and write a common sentrence.

Oh, by the way, with your self thought brilliance, why do you think a typography expert with 50 years experience would make the statement Obama's "certificate of live birth" was written with different typewriters... on the same form?

By: gdiafante on 6/8/11 at 6:54

"I know it couldn't have been you because you don't have brain enough to spell and write a common sentrence."

I love irony

By: yogiman on 6/8/11 at 6:58

Once in you life you will be right, dumba.., "there will become a time".

And at that time, I wonder what kind of damn fool you, and others, accept yourselves to be. Your illegal 'master' is being brought forth.

The time will come oh half-witless.

Alabama Lawmaker Abandons GOP Over New Law Aimed At Teachers

By: Blanketnazi2 on 6/8/11 at 7:05

g, maybe he's studying Engrish.

By: Captain Nemo on 6/8/11 at 7:06

It's just yogirish.

By: Blanketnazi2 on 6/8/11 at 7:06

yogi, if your IQ got any lower we'd have to put you in a pot and water you.

By: gdiafante on 6/8/11 at 7:06

Nemo, when the dust settles, the GOP is attaching such a label to the teaching profession that no one will want to participate.

And we thought education was lacking now...

By: Blanketnazi2 on 6/8/11 at 7:08

yogi is a fine example of how lack of education creates blind followers. sheep!

By: yogiman on 6/8/11 at 7:10

Should I presume you are an English master, gdiafante? You seem to be able to call me in error constantly but you never seem to be able to "tell" me where my error was.

By: Captain Nemo on 6/8/11 at 7:11

I said…By: Captain Nemo on 6/8/11 at 6:47
"There will come a time"…..house, you know what I mean. ;-)

Ant yogi says..
By: yogiman on 6/8/11 at 6:58
Once in you life you will be right, dumba.., "there will become a time".

See what I mean about yogi’s recycling mind and I use mine loosely.

By: Blanketnazi2 on 6/8/11 at 7:12

omg - you have to be TOLD??? seriously? ok, here's a hint. you don't know when to use "was" and when to use "were."

By: Blanketnazi2 on 6/8/11 at 7:13

such as.....

"where WAS you born" is not correct. "where WERE you born" is correct.

sorry to have to be Captain Obvious, folks, but someone had to tell him.

By: dargent7 on 6/8/11 at 7:14

Oh, just great. One of Rep. Weiner's "girls" is all over TMZ. She's an adult film star from, "Nashville, Tennessee". And she's damn proud of it!
So, Nashville always makes the news for the worst possible reasons.
Maybe she carries too?

By: Captain Nemo on 6/8/11 at 7:16

Now the recycling begins and yogi hears hmmmmmmm.

By: bfra on 6/8/11 at 7:17

Blanket - Off subject! If you read "Stumped" last post about the chickens in Austin, TX. He didn't bother to add. Up to 10 fowl per household, no roosters & they must be kept in an enclosed area 50 ft. away from neighbors.

Sorry for the interruption, especially when yogi's stupidity is coming thru so clear this AM.

By: Captain Nemo on 6/8/11 at 7:17

d7 do you think it might be bud?

By: yogiman on 6/8/11 at 7:19

Blanketnazi2,

I would be glad to take a competitive IQ test with you. It may show your ignorance in accepting someone in the Oval Office of our nation who is there illegally.

And what scares me more than anything else is congress allowing it to happen. I hope you Obama lovers are prepared for this nation to hit the bottom of the communist hill.

By: Captain Nemo on 6/8/11 at 7:20

What is this country coming to, not letting chicken live free and have sex.

By: Captain Nemo on 6/8/11 at 7:22

Blanket, if it keep dumb-asses like yogi off the streets it could be better.

By: Captain Nemo on 6/8/11 at 7:23

Some recycling of my own. lol

By: Captain Nemo on 6/8/11 at 7:24

Some recycling of my own. lol

By: gdiafante on 6/8/11 at 7:27

"You seem to be able to call me in error constantly but you never seem to be able to "tell" me where my error was."

Um...the error was in italics...you know that that is, right? LOL

By: Blanketnazi2 on 6/8/11 at 7:29

hi, bfra. those chicken people really don't care how that decision will affect the city overall. very short sighted.

yogi, you're dumb enough to fall for conspiracy theories. you can't make heads or tails out of an explanation when it is given to you. your critical thinking skills are lacking. either that or you're desperate to find an argument that creates slander for someone you don't like anyway and that way you can "legitimize" your views.

By: Blanketnazi2 on 6/8/11 at 7:35

pop quiz for you, yogi. which is correct?

what was you thinking?

or......

what were you thinking?

By: yogiman on 6/8/11 at 7:37

Sorry about my 'mistake'. I thought I was using the past tense of the singular person question. I knew he were born, I just didn't know if he 'was'.

I realize my English lessons are (or should that be were?) 70 years old, so I guess my teachers were too damn ignorant to be able to teach English back then.

By: Blanketnazi2 on 6/8/11 at 7:41

no, it wasn't your teachers, you just are not astute.

By: bfra on 6/8/11 at 7:42

yogi - Blaming the teachers, for your inability to learn, is a dumb excuse!

By: Blanketnazi2 on 6/8/11 at 7:42

"I knew he were born, I just didn't know if he 'was'."

omg, what sort of nonsense is that? sigh.....

By: Captain Nemo on 6/8/11 at 7:43

Always blaming someone for your dumbness, yogi.

By: BigPapa on 6/8/11 at 7:54

Glad I made the Comment o' the day again.
I wish Dean would use the tactic I described. It would feel less underhanded. I think the FG should close and I could re-hash the reasons. I'd hope that if Dean believes that he would activly campaign against it based on his ideas. He's a smart articulate guy, I think he could sway Davidson co voters.

By: gdiafante on 6/8/11 at 7:57

Yogi, when you chase conspiracy theories and cannot grasp simple, long-held grammatical rules, you will not be taken seriously.

By: Captain Nemo on 6/8/11 at 8:00

Congratulations BigPapa.

By: bfra on 6/8/11 at 8:04

BigPapa - IMO, if Dean "truthfully" told the real reason, he wants the FG property, he definitely would not be the next Mayor, even if we had to go without one for a while. Which, compared to having Dean re-elected, isn't a bad idea.

By: yogiman on 6/8/11 at 8:04

Blanketnazi2,

I'm beginning to believe, with people like you, and your "friends" on this site, our nation has become communist already.

When the common people of the nation will accept a person into the President's office they know nothing about, and who won't let any knowledge about himself (or should that be his self?) be released,.

When that man can get a law passed, by congress, against the will of the majority of the people of the nation, this isn't the United States of American anymore.

When the so-called Supreme Court can make decisions against God in the nation founded by a group of men who placed God at the "head of the table", and make decisions supporting Muslim beliefs in this nation. God help the USA.

When this 'inferior' court rules a state Supreme Court judge be outed from office because he refused to remove the 10 Commandments from his office, yet they have the same 10 Commandments all over their office, doesn't any of this make any of you wonder; What in the hell is happening in our nation?

By: Captain Nemo on 6/8/11 at 8:06

To answer your question 6: 49 question yogi, I got that report from an organizing that looks into UFO sightings and they got it from a research center from Area 51.

By: yogiman on 6/8/11 at 8:09

Sorry fellow, I should have added: Guess not.

By: gdiafante on 6/8/11 at 8:11

Wrong again, yogi. The founders were largely Deists. The Constitution guarantees the freedom of religion, which is more than just Christianity.

And this is a Republic, not a Democracy, the people do not directly vote for legislation. There are many historical instances where leglisation was passed that was not popular.

In fact, if the ratification of the Constitution was based on a public referendum, we'd likely be many separate confederations, European style.

By: Captain Nemo on 6/8/11 at 8:15

Here you yogi, maybe this will help you understand more about Obama. If you need more, I think we can find it for you.
