U.S. Senator Bob Corker ( R-Tenn.) is cosponsoring bipartisan legislation to prevent the use of Justice Department funds to prosecute Khalid Sheikh Mohammad and the 9/11 conspirators in federal court. The legislation, sponsored by Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) currently has 18 co-sponsors. Here are Sen. Corker's comments:
“Khalid Sheikh Mohammed and other al-Qaida terrorists should not be given the same rights as American citizens, and they should not be tried in a federal court.
“Congress responded to the 9/11 attacks by authorizing the use of military force and by developing a military commission system to detain enemy combatants and try those who violate the laws of war.
"Military commissions provide a fair standard of justice, reflect the true status of these terrorists according to U.S. and international law, and are the proper venue for the perpetrators of the 9/11 attacks.”
Mormons/ Latter Day Saints, Christian Scientists, or Catholics?
that could be an added attraction to the traveling tent revivals.
it feeds off the same demographic.

taxes aren't so bad after all, huh?
...you told me it was "Moonlight".
But, then again, you once said Sid was a welcomed addition to this board.
Maybe you meant "chalk board", as in "nails across it"?
It was, Darge, I have been known to change it now and then...a few weeks ago I had "Battery" by Metallica.
Did I really say that about Sid? Was I on acid at the time? Pain killers?
whatever it was you didn't share, g.
i do vaguely remember that comment. perhaps you were drinking at the time.
Hell I don't even remember it...must've been good stuff...
You know what the MC said about that brown acid at Woodstock.
I don't remember Woodstock either...
G: You're also on record as saying "Chief" is a thoughful, intelligent man, with great vision and acuity. I think I took the same acid as you.
no.......did g really say that????
I never said that. I would never use "acuity" to describe someone. Especially not Chief.
yeah, even when we were posting definitions you never used "acuity."
No. Gdia never said anything my posts said.
What he did say, however, was, "you can all kiss my ass" many times.
I think we can agree on that.
i thought it was "kiss my ass, bitch" but i could be mistaken....
I'm having memory loss...I thought I said, "kiss my b!tch, ass!"...
another beer should clear up that dyslexia, g. give it a try.

Lies awake at night, wondering if there is a dog.
Dragon, are you talking about me again? LOL
"Three Dog Night"...now, there was a band. Played "spin the bottle" to "Mama Told Me Not to Come". Those were the days!
Joy to the World!
Didn't Hoyt Axton write that, Blanket?
that question is way out of my league, g. i have no idea. i just know that it wasn't published by TMI Productions.
Hoyt's mother co-wrote Heartbreak Hotel?
Back online....what's up?
been mostly quiet, Loner.
Too quiet...someone must be gardening...
Loner, you weren't gardening, were you?
Blanket, did you see where they finally debunked the whole "vaccines cause autism"? I know at least one family that believed that crap, I just hope their daughter doesn't get sick.
Snowflakes are gently falling...winds aloft are calm.....think I'll go cross-country skiing tonight. The moonilght could be good. I like my new ski package..
yeah, i read that today. i can't believe the idiots that won't let their daughters get the vaccine for cervical cancer.
i thought you had a poem at first, Loner. i know what you've been doing!
The flakes are a flyin'
and relaxes me so
I think I'll go skiing
by moonlight I go
Enjoying mother nature, I was. An old hippie came to visit. We ranted and raved and enjoyed one of my signature lattes. I also introducd him to one of my favorite "fun" wines. It's called "Chocolate Lab" and it is made right here in the Finger Lakes region of New York..... It's served ice cold. Yes, a chocolate and concord grape wine sounds like a dubious mix, it turns out to be quite delightful. It's made by Pleasant Valley Wine Co., Hammondsport, NY.
sounds interesting, Loner. sometimes things that don't sound like they should go together end up tasting pretty good. never can tell sometimes.
i had espresso infused vodka made by Three Olives over New Years. it was really quite good, although i wasn't sure about it at first.
Like chocolate and peanut butter. I tripped over a small table and got my peanut butter in my wife's chocolate, but it was pretty good. A candymaker should do that sometime.
I have never been to Arrington Vineyards on Sunday. Does anyone know if they can sell wine on Sunday. Just wondering! When I have been during the week, people are carrying it out by the case.
To even suggest such a thing reserves you a spot in the hottest corner of Hell, brfa.
And I sayeth to you, never shouldeth thouest partaketh in wine consumption or purchase without the penalty of forced reality television upon your soul.
-Jesus Johnson
bfra: The Winery's CAN sell wine on Sundays. Just like any bar/ restaurant.
If you go to Arrington, take out a second mortgage and bring your Amex card.
g - I have been told on many occasion that I could go there!
I get told daily. I'm beginning to get a complex.
Just read the Tennessee Dept of Childrens Service have been accredited by the Council of Accreditation. In the wake of the 12 week old baby in a foster home, IMO, being murdered, makes me wonder who the morons are on this council.
