Nashville Independent Film Festival offers education and entertainment

Country music the way it used to be is one of the themes featured in the films being shown at the 32nd annual Nashville Independent Film Festival (NIFF). The festival begins today and continues through June 10.

A host of shorts, documentaries and special features will be presented at the Regal Green Hills Cinema 16. In addition, there are several ambitious workshops scheduled that include a guest appearance from Academy Award winner Olympia Dukakis June 8. Dukakis, who received an Oscar for Best Supporting Actress for her role in the 1987 film Moonstruck and who has over 40 years
