Judah Akers was 5-for-5 with four RBIs, two stolen bases and two runs scored as Belmont defeated Kennesaw State 10-4 and won its second straight Atlantic Sun Conference tournament Saturday at Deland, Fla.

The victory, its ninth in its last 10 games, gave Belmont the conference’s automatic bid into the NCAA tournament. The full 64-team field – and BU’s regional opponents – will be revealed Monday (11 a.m., ESPN).

Akers drove in two runs with a double and scored as the Bruins broke a 2-2 tie with four runs in the fifth. He added an RBI single in the sixth and a triple and run scored in the eighth. His RBI single in the third tied it 2-2 after Belmont fell behind by two after two and a half innings.

Zac Mitchell was 3-for-4 with a home run and two runs scored, and Drew Turner was 2-for-3 with three runs scored as Belmont, the conference’s regular-season champion, avenged its only loss in the tournament, 3-1 on Thursday.

Starter Chase Brookshire pitched the first six innings. Garrett Fanchier, Matt Hamann combined for three shutout innings in relief. Hamann pitched the final two innings, including a perfect ninth.
