The Tennessee Titans drafted a local player for the first time since moving to the state, taking former Battle Ground Academy and University of Tennessee running back Troy Fleming in the sixth round at No. 191 overall.

Fleming is the second-leading all-time rusher in the state of Tennessee, can play both halfback and fullback and rushed for 101 yards in earning MVP honors in the Gridiron Classic.

He is a two-time Mr. Football and ran for 3,008 yards and 37 touchdowns as a senior.
