Tennessee Titans receiver Kenny Britt will miss the rest of the season after tearing both anterior cruciate and medial collateral ligaments during Sunday's 17-14 win over Denver.
Coach Mike Munchak acknowledged the loss after Britt was evaluated on Monday.
"Kenny is a special guy. We've said that ever since we drafted him," Munchak said. "We saw that last year and you saw the start he was off to this year. He's a great weapon to have.
"It's very unfortunate for him and for us. He was off to a great start. He's a special player. He has a lot of work ahead of him, but he'll be back next year."
Britt led the AFC entering Sunday's game with 271 receiving yards.
