Date changed for Predators' preseason finale

The Nashville Predators’ final 2009 preseason game – against the Columbus Blue Jackets – has been moved to 4 p.m. Sept. 27 at Nationwide Arena in Columbus, it was announced Thursday.

The contest originally was schedule for Sept. 28.

As a result, the Predators will play their entire six-game preseason schedule in a span of 11 days. Single-game ticket sales for the preseason will begin in September.

Are the Predators still a viable entity? I thought perhaps after the closing of the Saturn plant that ice hockey might have a better presence in Manitoba.

If the Predators (ice hockey team) can survive in Nashville it shows that Serpas is decidely correct in keeping the bulk of the police force dredging for DUI arrests in the downtown area.
