The Tennessee Titans filled the final vacancy on its practice squad Tuesday by signing defensive end Larry Birdine, his agent Craig Domann confirmed.

Birdine impressed the Titans in the preseason finale as he had a sack and forced fumble against Vince Young in the third quarter that the Packers’ Justin Harrell returned for a touchdown that tied the game at 14-all.

Birdine, a former star at Oklahoma, was let go in Green Bay’s final cuts. He has family ties to the NFL as former NFL star Jason Gilden is his half-brother and New Orleans Saints tackle Jammal Brown is his cousin.
