Eagles beat out Titans to land Curtis

This time, the Philadelphia Eagles got the better of the Tennessee Titans.

According to Scout.com, the Eagles have agreed to a six-year deal with free agent wide receiver Kevin Curtis of the St. Louis Rams.

The Titans had had Curtis in Tennessee for a visit Tuesday and were presumed to be right in the mix to land him, especially given their shortage at the position.

The Titans managed to snatch restricted free agent linebacker Ryan Fowler away from the Eagles on Monday with a four-year, $11.5 million offer sheet, but Curtis appears on his way to Philadelphia instead of Tennessee.

Curtis had 40 catches for the Rams last season, operating mostly as the teams third receiver.
