Mike Guerrero will return in 2013 for a second season as manager of the Nashville Sounds, the team announced Tuesday.

The 44-year-old has spent 17 years as a minor league manager and has an 896-739 career record, including 67-77 with Nashville last season. The Milwaukee Brewers’ Class AAA affiliate, finished second in the Pacific Coast League American Conference Northern Division in 2012.

Skube, a 13th-round pick of the Brewers in 1979, had a seven-year playing career (two in the Milwaukee organization) and spent the last two seasons as hitting coach for the San Diego Padres Class AAA affiliate.

The team also announced that strength and conditioning coach Andrew Emmick would return and that Aaron Hoback was hired to be trainer.
