Tennessee vs. Indianapolis

Sunday, Noon

RCA Dome

Wanted: One placekicker reliable enough to handle pressure field goals for expected playoff contender. Must have strong enough leg to handle kickoff chores and work cheaply enough to fit under snug salary cap. Apply Tennessee Titans.

The Titans got a worst-case scenario result from the MRI of kicker Joe Nedney. Nedney has a torn anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee and will likely undergo season-ending surgery soon.

The veteran kicker, who is in the third season of a five-year deal with the Titans, suffered the injury Sunday night covering a second-quarter kickoff against the Oakland Raiders. Nedney sprained the same knee in last year
