Lipscomb wins state title

David Lipscomb High won the Class 3A state football championship on Saturday, beating Knoxville Fulton 32-24 in Murfreesboro.

Jeremy Holt rushed for 133 yards and a touchdown to lead the Mustangs. Zach Rogers added 82 yards and a touchdown for Lipscomb.

The Mustangs were able to avenge last year's championship game loss to Fulton to claim the title.
