The Nashville Outlaws inaugural season came to an end when they lost a one-game elimination Central Division playoff game to host Danville, Ill., 4-2 Monday.
The Outlaws, who clinched the second-half division title with doubleheader sweep of Terre Haute last Friday, managed just six hits off two Dans’ pitchers. Austin Peay’s John Hogan had a key RBI double in the seventh for the winning team.
Doug Joyce knocked in both runs for the Outlaws, and designated hitter Drew Fann went 2-for-2. Pitcher Taylor Hydel took the loss.
Nashville finished with a 30-25 record.
